I had a few issues a while back. But in the last couple of months, they have been very responsive and very good to work with. There is a nationwide shortage of one of my meds. The office staff went above and beyond to find a pharmacy to get it filled. They not only changed the pharmacy but they had to keep calling them back and working with them to get my prescription filled. After about 4 or 5 calls, they got it resolved. I was disappointed to find that my initial appointment was with the NP, and Dr. Rashid only popped in to sign off on the prescription. Did not even introduce herself to me, didn't acknowledge my presence. Next appointment, I did have a brief meeting with the doctor, and she wanted to put me on a medication I was leary about. When I questioned it, she argued with me. Billing was also an issue - $30 co-pay, plus another $100 or so for "professional services" which is apparently insurance code for "the insurance company won't pay us enough if we say "office visit," so we use the nebulous prof. svcs. language." Three appointments and I was done. One good note: The did provide samples of the new med, to see if it was helpful before making me spend big bucks at the pharmacy. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would - absolutely horrible experience for many reasons. Emailed twice last year to schedule with no response. Called several times before getting someone - and they were rude. Showed up and was very uncomfortable. You'd think a psychiatrists office would be designed to keep anxious people comfortable but this one wasn't. I wasn't even seen by the practitioner I was scheduled to see - someone else, with no explanation as to why. Was basically asked tons of personal questions by this complete stranger and then told "we need to drug test you then you can schedule a follow up to get meds". Like, what? They even had the audacity to ask me why I wanted the $70 back from the $100 required deposit to schedule the appointment (my co pay is only $30). Please spare yourself & avoid this horrible practice. read more

They are so unprofessional and disorganized. I had an appointment for 7:30 and got there on time! They never had their doors open and had a sign saying they open at 8:30. I waited until 8 to check again. And they finally opened their doors only to tell me that I missed my appointment that I drove OVER AN HOUR to get to and needed to reschedule for another day. They said they opened their doors at 7:45. Why would they make appointments before they even open their doors??! Not only that but if you have any issues with your medication, they will say to just call to get it fixed but that's not true. You will have to pay for another appointment just so they could acknowledge you. This isn't a place that wants to get people better. read more

Dr. Rashid is great but she is taking way too many patients and her NPs come and go yearly. I have seen 4 different providers in 2 years and it is frustrating to explain everything all over again to another stranger. Office staff have changed and new girls are rude and unhelpful. read more

A.B. I am extremely frustrated. I have been waiting 6 DAYS for my anxiety/panic disorder REFILL. I've been taking this for over a year. I have had to FIGHT and CALL OVER AND OVER and still being told it's in Dr. Rashid's "queue ". I call the pharmacy and NOTHING! This is the 2nd month this has happened. Last year I knew I needed help. I called a local Psychiatrist who came highly recommended in a community Facebook group. Their office wasn't accepting new patients. I asked who they recommended I try next, their answer was immediately Dr. Rashid. I called Clear Creek Psychiatry and had a new patient appointment quickly. Dr. Rashid was booked up for a while, so the appointment setter asked if I'd be ok seeing an NP instead. I was absolutely ok with that option! At my first appointment, I recognized how kind and helpful the front office staff was and it just felt comfortable being there. The NP I was seeing in mid-2023 left the clinic and I started seeing a new NP in the fall of 2023. Her name is Lynzee, and she is WONDERFUL! She is so easy to talk to, she listens, she remembers me and that's one of the most important things to me when I see a doctor. I want to feel a connection with them and not just feel like a name on a file. Lynzee was able to diagnose me at my first visit with her where other providers just glossed over it and couldn't figure out what was going on. She has quite literally changed my life! She is always on time for our appointments, and she gives me the time I need in each appointment to discuss anything I find valuable to share with her. She asks the right questions and makes great suggestions. She is uplifting and makes me feel like we are in this together. I hope she never leaves the practice, but if she does, I'd follow her anywhere! read more

I had been having a hard time finding a psychiatrist locally who can address my concerns and not have to end up waiting 2-3 months or even longer just for an appointment. My therapist suggested I try calling clear creek psychiatry. Their staff got me in to see one of their providers fairly quickly which was a relief! The doctor I saw took the time to go over my concerns which I am aware will not be resolved quickly but I feel that at least I am on the right path in getting the help I really need. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend this office. read more

I agree with the other people who have mentioned the office staff being incompetent. This is a psychiatric doctors office. There should be some sort of training, even for the front office staff on how to handle patients that are struggling. Generally, if you call for an issue, they take a message and never call back. In addition, keeping my prescriptions filled, as in my psychiatric medications that keep me from crying in a puddle on the floor. I have had issues with getting them filled for the last 4 months. I've been using clear creek psych to manage my anxiety and adhd for about 2 years. They used to do a good job of helping me but in the past year it's gone downhill a lot. It takes several months to get an appointment. I got pregnant at the beginning of the year and had to stop taking my medications. After miscarrying I was able to get an appt and get back on my prescription for my anxiety medication but they didn't renew it because the next appt I could get with them wasn't for several months. So I had to go off my meds cold turkey. Then I finally have my appointment and my meds were supposed to be renewed. It's been 2 weeks of calling my pharmacy and clear creek and they still haven't sent my prescription over. I've had a lot to deal with this year with my dog dying on top of my miscarriage and my mental health has really taken a hit. Dealing with this place has made it so much worse, especially when they were supposed to be the ones helping me. I switched to telehealth and got my meds the next day and also have referrals for therapy now that can get me in this week. The referrals that clear creek gave me were either not taking new clients or couldn't get me in till November. So long story short, I would very much not recommend this place. read more

The ONLY REASON I'm giving this place of business two stars is because of how wonderful the PA, Stacy is. She actually listened to my needs and assisted me in finding a medication that is helpful. Other than that, this place is not worth your money or time! The new receptionist is EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT! I called on several occasions and the phone was never answered and when it finally was I was put on hold for about 15 minutes and then hung up on! The next time I got an answer, the receptionist told me she would maybe call me back! What?!! So my next appointment I address the situation with the office manager and she basically calls me a liar and that the new staff is spectacular. Yeah, I think not. Just because you supposedly have had no other complaints does not mean you won't get any and when you do, you should address them cordially NOT implying that I'm lying. The NPs (you will never see a Dr, you'll be lucky to see the same NP twice) are reliably at least an hour late to the extremely rushed less than 5 minute appointments, but you will be charged the full cost of the "missed" appointment if you're five minutes late. Three different office staff will leave you on hold for 10 minutes each in one call. God help you if you miss or need to reschedule an appointment because they're booked out for 3+ months. They push extremely new, expensive medications without generics over cheaper, more accessible ones. And I had to file HIPAA and TMB complaints! I called the office on 9/29/22 requesting to be emailed my diagnostic and medication records, and was told over the phone that they could only be sent directly to another practitioner. The same day, 9/29/22, I delivered a typed and signed letter requesting my records to their office, which was received by a woman named Alexis. She informed me that I could have my records, but that the cost for the records would be $25 for the first $25 pages plus an additional $1 for every page after that, and told me that my records should be ready after 72 hours. I did not hear anything from their office for two weeks. On 10/14/22, I called to check on my request and was told that it still wasn't ready because it was, I quote verbatim, "taking a long time to print out". I can only assume they were also including the notes (which I specifically did not request) to pad out the length and thusly fee. Then I was told that I would be required to pay my outstanding bill (a missed appointment fee of $100 which I can't currently afford) before the office would release my records to me. I have called multiple times and spoken to multiple people, who have explicitly acknowledged that the Texas Medical Board requires providers to release records even if there is an outstanding bill, but insist that their "office policy" is not to release the records until the bill has been paid in full, even if I am able to pay the fee for the records. Under HIPAA, the office had 30 days from my request to deliver PHI and it is now 11/1/22. Not fun. I started here in 2018, and the place was nice. It's been a wild ride downhill since then. read more

Dr. Rashid & Samantha are great BUT the front office staff needs a MAJOR overhaul. This office used to be extremely personable but they have grown/expanded and now you as a patient are just a number. They do NOT care if you don't have your medication and your body goes into withdraw. They do NOT care if you need an urgent appointment. You get what you get even if you go without medication and/or appointments for 1-2 months. It almost feels like they purposely make everything difficult and/or unavailable. I have seen this done to a co-worker, my child, and now myself. If I see a change I will update my review but this has been going on for over a year so I feel it is important that other patients understand challenges that they will face dealing with this office! read more

The receptionist who answered the phone when I called for an appointment was incredibly rude and dismissive. I asked how to get a referral for testing prior to an appointment and she was completely unhelpful and condescending. Any office that would hire someone to answer the phone that was of this degree of incompetence is not one to go to for help. She should not be interacting with human patients. Do not use! read more
