I Bought a truck from Galleria Motors, drove it down the road and the check engine light came on…read more Took it to a Dodge dealership, they ran diagnostics on it and told me that the turbo was blown and it would cost $6,893.99 to repair it. They ran the history of the malfunction indicator and told me that the first time the check engine light come on for the turbo issue was 29 miles before I purchased the truck, which means they knew about the issue before selling me the truck, didn't fix it, cleared the code so the light wasn't on while I was signing papers, and sold me the faulty truck. I had the Dodge dealership print all of this off and send it to the owner of galleria motors assuming he would take responsibility since he knew they were selling me a faulty vehicle. He refused to pay it and said, "it's a used vehicle it comes with issues." Attached are the documents from both dealerships. The odometer statement from Galleria motors is the actual mileage on the truck when I bought it. The other document is from the Dodge dealership stating that the first time the error code for the turbo popped up was 29 miles before I actually purchased the truck. -see "Original Odometer - 109,958"
