I am not one to take the time and write a review, but in this case I got some free time and I really wanted to do it. My dad and I are always a little apprehensive when purchasing a new vehicle, new or used - so when I found the car I was looking for, I had my questions and doubts. On Saturday; September 30, 2017, we made a trip down to Texas Car World in Dallas to just overlook the vehicle I found on their website. The vehicle is my current vehicle, which is a 2014 BMW 535i xDrive. First of all, I was not fond with the color, "Carbon Black Metallic" from BMW, and the car I bought was advertised as "Jet Black" rather than it's actual blue-ish color being "Carbon Black Metallic". I didn't think much of it, because the car was a wonderful deal ($22,000) due to 71k miles, and I thought later on if I still was not fond of it, I would get the vehicle wrapped. I had dealing with Alex, and then later on, (Alex) would not answer my calls or texts. I called up to the dealer because I was full of questions with the vehicle I was probably about to purchase. I then got (Dennis) on the phone and he told me that Alex was at an auction and he would get back with me. A couple days pass by, and I finally hear from Alex regarding the vehicle. I was then ready to make a trip down to Dallas from Atoka, Oklahoma, because I just sold my last vehicle, and I was in need of another one. Considering that Texas Car World's BMW was the best price, I then thought I would proceed with the purchase. I got to Dallas later that day, and I asked Alex to provide me with a Carfax Report... The vehicle was a 1-Owner, with NO ACCIDENTS OR OTHER DAMAGE REPORTED TO CARFAX AT ALL. I had also made sure the Brakes, Tires, And Recent Maintenance it called for was up to date. The vehicle had 4 new tires, a recent oil change, and according to Alex, the brakes were in "great condition". We then decided we would purchase the vehicle, taking Alex's word, as he seemed like a trustable guy at the time. We then left with the car, headed back to Oklahoma. Alex told my dad that the title would be mailed to us in 4-5 days. After stopping aside for a car wash, in Allen, TX because the exterior of the vehicle was filthy, I noticed that the vehicle I just purchased had NO SIGNS OF FLOOR MATS, anywhere in the car. I thought to myself, this won't be a big deal, I can go on to BMW.com and get some factory ones later on. Then this is where I notice some BIG issues... I get onto Highway 75N headed toward sherman and I start pressing the brake pedal, and I quickly noticed the rotors were warped and that there was tons of vibrations in both the brake pedal, and the steering wheel. I finally got home, then my grandad decides to make sure the car was in good mechanical shape (everything was good except for the brakes), and it included an owners manual, and a spare key... Well come to note, THE VEHICLE HAD NO OWNERS MANAUL BOOKLET AT ALL, OR A SPARE KEY FOB. My grandad and I were very put out by then because the BMW dealership charges quite a bit for both of those items. About 6-7 WEEKS went by, and STILL NO TITLE from Texas Car World. I then decided I better replace the brakes, when I got to the dealership, they told me the brake pads were METAL ON METAL, and that I would need to replace my whole brake system. I finally decided to confront both Alex and Dennis about my issues with my new car. I never heard back from either one of them, and when I called the dealership to reach either one of them, they asked who was calling, I told them my name, and THEY HUNG UP. I then decided I would just deal with everything, then this came about....... I checked the carfax report to make sure my recent service uploaded, and I was nearly blown away when I saw that there had been a DAMAGE REPORT on the carfax from 2015.... I called up there, still no answer. How do they do this? I have no idea but it is for sure wrong. I also read the reviews prior to going out to Texas Car World. Some were good and some bad. The first meet was a great experience. The Car (2014 Lexus IS 250) was in great shape and a very good sound car. The price was very fair and my wife loved it. We had a few things that we wanted fixed/replaced and they said "no problem" and just needed a few weeks to get it ordered. The emails I sent took a while to get a response (hence the 4 stars) but they did respond. The text messages were answered quickly. They did fix/replace what was needed. My wife is happy, therefore I am happy. I would buy from them again. read more

This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. We bought my daughter a car and had it shipped to us. They mailed the title to the wrong address, then said it was at the post office. Be VERY careful if you plan to do business with these guys. First - write down the mileage on the odometer - the true mileage - when you get in the car for a test drive. Make sure that number matches the paperwork! Our mileage did NOT match but that is here say. The thing is, the car was in their shop the day we purchased it due to an engine problem that occurred when we drove away. They took it back to "make good". Then we had our mechanic check it and there was still a problem so these guys again wanted to "make good and work with us". They then had the car for quite a few days. Keep in mind it has hardly been in our possession due to mechanical issues. Our mechanic checked it a second time and still there was the same problem only now.... these guys at Texas Car World tried to blame us and said we put 900 miles on the car. Again - we didn't have it in our possession long enough to do that so they either did it or the paperwork never matched the odometer. Yes we feel stupid that this happened and are just warning others Second - make sure YOUR mechanic checks it before you buy. Our mistake as well but we have never had this happen when purchasing used cars. This short sightedness on our part cost us an additional $3300 to get the car actually running properly. These guys say they will work with you to make things right. They will not.... it became a difficult and combative transaction. A bi-polar roller coaster. Be very cautious and thorough on your part. I've been waiting several months to write this review.. I purchased my vehicle from Texas car world on May 21 2020.. I noticed that night leaving the car lot I already had a cracked taillight which caused the taillight to not even work which I did not notice before purchase. Alex mistry claimed to have ordered a taillight for me and he would find someone to install It but I have to this day not received any taillight from him so I ended up spending $312 to replace taillight just to be legal to drive on the road without worry. First sign of what kind of trouble I got myself into.. may 26th 2020 engine light came on.. I immediately called Alex mistry "Karan Mistry" his real name after doing some digging. I had already been discussing with him about the taillight so this was just another thing added onto the list .. the first shop he sent me to for repair "diagnose the engine light" was Infinity dealership.. took about 2 weeks but finally got my car back after being told the spark plugs were cracked and that was what was causing the engine light.. Alex did take care of that bill. I left that day , that evening came around engine light came back on!!! Called Alex immediately it took about a week for him to send me to WestwayFord in Irving to diagnose the engine light.. my claim started June 20th there WestwayFord had my vehicle til October 22nd!!!! Warranty took about a month in a half to do their part which eventually resulted in taking out my whole engine and replacing it with a remanufactured engine.. warranty sent over 2 engines both gave Westway ford Trouble.. eventually the 2nd engine that was sent was able to be tweaked and put in and my car was fine... warranty only ended up paying $800 towards repairs which didn't even cut Into the dent of what I was going to have to spend eventually. I left with car from ford october 16th. 2 days later engine light back on.. took it back to WestwayFord now they diagnose the engine light as failed engine sensor.. October 22nd I picked my car up and finally have no problems after that.. during this whole time from June 20th til october 16th I was being charged rental fees from westway ford and Alex mistry told me he would cover them.. he did not. Eventually ford took the loner from me due to no payment and I was left with no loner nor my car therefore I had to come out of pocket for Uber's from September 10th til October 16th.. meanwhile I was paying my car notes and insurance during the whole time I didn't even have my car .. I only continued to pay my car notes because Alex misty told me if I handled my car notes correctly during that time then we will handle my rental fees.. i left out of westway ford paying over 3,000 to get my car released to me. That's not even the final total of what I payed during This whole process.Alex mistry never paid $1 towards repairs nor rentals nor Uber and left trips. Not one dime!!! I have all documentation proving the agreements he was making with me from week to week . He even claimed of not being The owner even when the actual bank is telling me that he is. I find out at the very end of all this now he has closed down and disappeared . I am currently perusing a lawsuit against him but I just wanted to write this to make everyone aware of this man Alex mistry "real name Karan misty". If I had read a review like this I would have never went to him so I hope this helps someone one day and maybe they won't be in the same situation I am. Mike sold me this vehicle, a 2011 ml350. the test drive was smooth, I had a person that is a mechanic with me. he checked under the hood for oil leaks, etc. smooth ride, that was on June 18,2018. 3 days later I heard a roaring loud sound from the back right tire. I HAD A MECHANIC TO CHECK THE NOISE HE SAID IT WAS THE RIGHT BEARINGS IN THE BACK WHEEL. I called the dealership, and was told that Mike was not in and would not be back for 1 wk. so I sent Mike a text, He responded with, "I am on vacation with my wife, I will call you tomorrow I can get someone to look at it and he is a great mechanic" that was on July 1,2018. no call from Mike, of course, I called the office again a few days later, and spoke with Steve, that was so transparent with his deception. I know that this was a as is purchase, but only after Mike assured me that the vehicle had been inspected and that it was nothing wrong with it. Somewhere in this dealership there should be someone with a little integrity and customer service values, not to take someone's money and not stand behind the product that they are advertising to be a Good Vehicle.!! My husband and I found the car we had been looking for, for a great price. The listing for the vehicle read that it had a backup camera, a detail that we thought was really cool. Well, the vehicle did not have a backup camera as advertised, and the dealer did come down in price because of it. We came back a week later and agreed to purchase the vehicle and the guy, Alex, was pleasant to deal with while we got the paperwork completed. Now, here is what brings them down to two stars... we came to pick up the car another day and had ZERO help from anyone. I literally had to find my car in the back lot. The guy that did help me didn't have a clue about my picking up the vehicle, when, etc. I wanted a manual to go with the new car, and after countless texts to the dealer (texts - because no one ever answers the phone and calls to the guy, Alex, always go to voicemail which is full and can't accept anymore voicemails). Alex promised to mail me a manual, yet, nothing! It's March, it's been 3 months! Lastly, we were also promised a license plate mount for the front of the vehicle... Not gonna hold my breath. They kept my deposit after I could not get financed with no mention of it being NON refundable in writing nor verbal. They said due to the car was taken off the market for me after the deposit but this was not true since I checked everyday after and they marketed the car as routine dealer marketing during that time. I even took screen shots of their marketing after the fact, they were super nice until the deal fell through and dismissed all my contact attempts. Instead of being a decent dealer like I dealt in the past with others they decided to take the other route and try to keep my hard earned money. These guys were unbelievable..Since my first contact with Alex inquiring about my car he was extremely helpful and responded immediately to every text and phone call!I ended up driving 6 hrs to test drive the vehicle..Upon arriving Alex who I had been speaking with was out to lunch with his mom but he informed his colleague that we had been talking and allowed me to take the car out by myself to test drive witch cuoisidently is a Bentley Continental GT..On my test drive I saw a dash warning light ..I got back to dealership and informed Alex what happened he said he would test drive it and check it out.When he returned he said that service light did come on and he would have it serviced being an "As Is"buy he didn't have to do.I told him I was planning to surprise my wife with the car so he said he would pay for hotel for me and my wife pay for service on car and pay to have it shipped..Wow!!
