Our insurance covers 100% well woman exam once a year. Due to the new policy they wanted our $40 copay up front and wait to be reimbursed because "other" patients have abused Well woman's exams for sick exams, so they require payment upfront before even being seen. If that's the case, why not take payment or no payment after the exam? I shouldn't have to wait to be reimbursed because of other patients abusing the system. A lot of people cannot wait 2 months to get reimbursed in this economy especially if your insurance deems it covered at 100%. I'm not even sure if this is legal or not what they are doing with this new policy. Charging pts for 100% covered services seems like extortion and abuse of private insurance that we already pay astronomically for every month.

Ms Natalie Wilson is an amazing nurse practitioner shes always so patient and listens to all my questions and is very to the point which I love no beating around the bush. There were a few downsides to it with the wait I'd sit in the waiting room almost an hour and a half and then in the room for a while too before seeing them but that's really my only complaint with them other than that there amazing people.

One day they called me in to discuss labs and admitted me to the hospital because I had blood in my urine and my kidneys were failing. St. E didn't know why. They transfered me to UTMB there they found lupus nephritis and I had mastitis.... that wasn't treated for over a month bc she wasn't listening to me
