From when you walk into the office upstairs to when you walk out you will get a room full of smiles. We love our doctor she always puts our mind at ease. They take very good care of our son and us too. Please remember that they are located in Towne Lake so parking can be limited. My visit today is based on incorrect prescriptions. I went through all of the hoops for the first and ONLY prescription. My son went through test week without it. Not only was it the generic brand that my insurance decline, McClintock sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I never use Walgreens, is $300 for the generic. Verses $200 something from Walmart pharmacy that's directly across the street. McClintock is aware that my insurance only approves Name Brand. For the second dose, refill it was filed on April 19. I was told from Walgreens.... (Phone died in the middle of the review. And it's still up, wow. ) 5/10 went to Walmart to pick up the meds, that was sent on may 2, and Walmart doesn't have it STILL. Doc not at fault for this. But damn, really, it's going on 3 weeks! read more

We recently relocated here from out of state, and have been with the practice for about a month. Unfortunately, due to their fully booked schedule for the entire week, it was impossible to schedule a same-day appointment or a follow-up after seeing an urgent care provider should our child become ill. Also, upon inquiring at the front desk about which peds urgent care center they recommend, they informed us to simply look online and that the nurse from the office would get back to us. I called at 10:30 am, and the nurse called me back at 4 pm; by then, we had already found a new pediatrician. read more

Let me start with the fact that the reason we have been coming to this location is that Dr McClintock treated our son when he was younger, and did a great job. Therefore, when our daughter was born last December, we decided to give them a try... not to mention it's great location-wise to our house... Disclaimer:This review has nothing to do with Dr McClintock, and everything to do with the clueless staff that resides/manages the same office as him.... Our first visit to the office for our daughter, at 1 week of age, started off quite nice. However, that changed when we were told to go into the lab for a Bilirubin test. When I arrived in the lab, i was told that i was second in line, which seemed fine, until i realized that they wanted me to sit in close-quarters to a 9 year old who was sick as a dog and being tested for mono. I then watched as nothing was sanitized that the boy touched before they wanted to have me lay my daughter down on the same surfaces. I was not pleased to say the least, but after requesting, all further tests were done in the examination rooms going forward. Recently, things have gotten ridiculous. I had the family switch over to my insurance, and the first visit we had under the new insurance, we were charged 95$ per kid, when we are supposed to pay ~15$... When we brought back proof of insurance payment we were met with attitude and told that we weren't charged 95$ a kid, even though that should be something easily looked up in their system. They wouldn't believe us until we showed them a receipt (luckily we save them). In-between last visit and the one today, we requested a referral for our son to get sedation dentistry, which we were told to drop off to be signed since we didn't need an appointment to fill it out. After 2 weeks we went to pick it up and then were told we'd have to schedule an appointment to get checked out before signing. Add to that, that we never recieved any phone calls, we just showed up 2 weeks later to check on the status since no notice had been given. Alright, Fine.... Ok, so today we go in, and they try to charge us 95$ again. Saying that even tho its a well-child visit, its pre-op, and therefore is charged as a sick visit. Which is supposed to be ~15$ under our insurance on file. Apparently, the staff doesn't know how to look up what someone should be charged with insurance... Well we wouldn't accept that and threw a little bit of a fit. When we left they had figured it out. In summary, every time we go to this location, there is always some stupidity that happens that is a hassle, or is unacceptable. We will be trying the other location up Fry, and hopefully we have a better experience. Hopefully the staff can figure out how to send records over the internet to the other location.... I hope others have better luck than we did here, but we wont be back. read more

Please believe the pervious reviews on this place because If I could give this place 0 stars as well I most definitely would! And can't wait to move my kids to another pediatrics. From the beginning I wanted to go back to my children's Previous pediatrician at another Texas children's that was in the area because we moved back to Cypress but they weren't taking any patients at the time so I had to deal with this location. Trying to get a appointment with this place is like wishing for a dream to come true, sorry it's not happening! Doesn't make since that these lazy so called doctors that barely listen to any issues that your child is having and want to just come in and write you a prescription that doesn't even cure anything! Never have time or appointments available for these children! It's sad seriously smh oh and prescriptions that they prescribe sometimes aren't covered by your insurance company then they expect you to figure out what prescriptions are covered by your insurance and then go through obstacles to get in touch with them to inform them so they can prescribe you another prescription! Long story short if you want to literally do all the work that the doctors are suppose to do for you then your in the right place. read more

Being a first time mom you have to make so many decisions and at first I wasn't worried about this one but it's the closest to me so I gave it a shot and let me tell you I do not regret it. Love my sons doctor she makes me aware of everything I need. I've had times where I had to make a same day emergency appointment and they made it happen ! They also have an emergency hospital for after hours. Everyone there is so wonderful. It's even located in a very beautiful scenery 10/10! read more

I understand that no one uses the Yelp in Texas so that's why this facility has such bad reviews because the last review was from a year ago. If I could give this place no stars at all, I would. This location is closer to me, but there is always a problem when I try to get my son in. This time it was because I did not choose a primary provider and did not say any of the doctor names who worked there on his insurance card (never heard of a patient that can not be seen because of that) She was very unfriendly when telling me this as well. I called the location that he usually goes to (still not the same provider on the insurance card) and they scheduled an appointment right away. The Dairy Ashford location has the best staff and all doctors are amazing -would recommend to anyone who needs to go elsewhere. I thought about it and called back about 30 minutes later and complained to a different lady who stated that not having a provider should not have been an issue. They did not have appointments available for same day access, but giving the wrong information when there is a sick child involved is so frustrating. read more

I would give zero stars but unfortunately the least is one star! I recently changed the doctors for my little ones to this one as I saw that dr. Winer was there. I called for appointment for my three years and they told me I can't have an appointment until December that is two months from now! I said ok as she is already three and I can wait a couple months more. The funny thing was that for scheduling for my little one who turns 6 months and wanted to have her well check for next weeks the lady who answered said it's the same! That I had to schedule 3 months in advance! WOW! I told her that it's a little baby who is going to well checks every two months and how can I schedule three months in advance! She was just answering as a machine rather than a human being who can communicate and find me a solution or at least confess that there so called "protocol" s are non practical non logical one! If it was possible to give this Texas childrens location 10 stars I would if I could. My son is not a fan of needles, shots or anything remotely resembling a needle and of course today we needed to get blood work done which requires a needle. Jenny the phlebotomist was calm and got down to his level take Splaine what was going to happen in the options that he had to get this done. It took close to 40 minutes for him to accept the reality of the needle and that it was going to happen today. Dr. Muzumbdar and her staff were also patient during the process and just wanted the best for my son. I fully appreciate the staff and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my son was OK and that we can get this knocked out today. read more

The experience I share does not generalize all the doctors in this practice. I came in because of my son's fever. I left with my son unevaluated, felt we were rushed and was sent over to an urgent care due to a nosebleed that they could not contain. They taped a gauze over my son's nose. They let us out of the office as I held my 2 yr old IN HIS DIAPERS. Yes, they thought sending me out with my kid half dressed to head over to urgent care was ok. The same thing happened in urgent care, my son's nose bled and he was crying. But they didn't do anything special to stop the bleeding, they just helped me calm my son down, gave him juice so he can cool down, gave him meds for fever and turned on the t.v. -the bleeding eventually stopped. My son was still crying & kicking when they checked him...but..... Was this urgent care dr. specialized in Pediatrics? No! Did they do anything special that "Dr. M.Mc" and his nurse couldn't do to stop the bleeding? No! Were they able to evaluate his illness and provide medication? Yes! Unbelievable experience. We all need Doctors and nurses who can take the lead, in any given situation. read more

Made an appointment for my newborn daughter for 11:30am. I received a confirmation text with the address. I clicked on the address from the confirmation text message and headed to the appointment. My maps said "arrived" and it was not the location. After making two U-turns and still no luck finding the office with the location they provided, I called and spoke with someone who then said since it was 11:32 and would be 11:34am by the time I arrived to the address I had to find, my appointment was cancelled and that they'd have to "work me in". They couldn't tell me what next available appointment they'd have, nor the buildings their office was next to, but told me to "go to the office and see if they could work me in". After driving around and then parking to walk around and attempt to find this place with a newborn in the stroller and myself still recovering from giving birth, we finally found it. The receptionist was incredibly rude when we explained what had happened and asked how long it would be before we could be seen. She said there are 5 people in front of us and repeatedly said that when we asked if she knew an estimated time, the next available appt. or how we could be contacted when they were ready to see us. They decided to give my son immunization and a flu shot in the same day, resulting in a fever and pain for the child the whole night despite us telling them he is just recovering from a cold and very bad episode of constipation. Well...where do I start! To make a long story short, my son has been dealing with a skin problem for a few weeks now. We had seen a dr from TCH urgent care Fairfield location two weeks prior and that doctor told us to use an over the counter product ( we had already been using OTC products the entire time) but we decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and give it more time to heal. On 6/20/17, my son woke up with the worst flare I have ever seen him have in his 13 months of life and being that my regular pediatrician was so far away I decided to call this place and see if I could get seen that same afternoon before work. Well, I was in luck! Not only was I able to get an appointment that day as a new patient, but I was going to see a doctor that just so happened to be the pediatrician to a good friend of mine for his entire childhood. When we got there at checkin, I stood in front of the counter for a good 5-10 minutes just being stared at without acknowledgment from THREE receptionists at the counter. Finally I was called, my papers filled out, and my copay collected. I was handed a clipboard with more pages to fill out and was called to the back. The office is extremely big! Very spacious and beautiful! The rooms have a nice view of the boardwalk and are well lighted with sunlight. The Medical assistant came in and took vitals, and asked me 100 more questions and then the doctor came in shortly after. Dr.Muzumdar was nice. That's about all I'm going to give her that was positive. She asked me what I had been doing this far and I told her. I told her we had basically tried everything under the sun for my sons condition and she still refused to give us a steroid prescription! She told me to buy another OTC item and bring him back to her if it did not get better! I was livid! I felt like for the second time I had wasted my time and money at a TCH facility just to be shoved out the door. I asked her what should I do if my sons condition does not get better, she replied "you bring him back to me!" Ugh no thanks lady I am not wasting another copay at this office ever again! I had to call my regular pediatrician, tell her what happened, send her a picture via text, and she sent the prescription for me right away! My regular pediatrician gave me more insight on the condition via text than Dr.Muzumdar gave me in the office. I will never return. Do not let this new office fool you, these people just want you to come back for more money. It was extremely obvious that this place wants to get their hands on as many patients as possible. I love this office and staff! They are amazing! I actually came from the location off of 290 and fry and that office needs a lot of help with customer service! They are horrible there and planning to notify corporate office about them! Everyone at that office is rude and when you walk-in the ladies are even rude at the front desk! Maybe a new office manager will help to put those ladies in there place and show them customer service! Needs a lot of work! Will never go back to that office! If it wasn't for Dr Khan we wouldn't even bother going here at all. The front office staff is always a hit or miss. Stephanie is a BIG LIAR and never notates the account properly so you are to look like the idiot and liar yourself. Then the office manager is a piece of work herself! How these two even have jobs is beyond me. Customer Service, actually People Skills, is NOT in their vocabulary or work ethics. I even work in the medical field and I would be fired the way I talked and treated my patients like that. What is worse is I have been going to them since 2003 and they have been going down the drain for years now and when I bring to their attention they just sweep it under the rug. Also WATCH YOUR BILLS and what you are billed for. I was over charged and actually they miscoded and wouldn't correct it. Even my insurance company requested them to change it so they would get paid but I ended up having to cough up the money when it was a MAJOR mistake on their end. This WILL be reported to NHCAA and the medical boards that is for sure! I truly wish they would own up to their mistakes so we could avoid any and all of this but I guess they don't care enough about their patients or future patients and they just care about themselves.
