I'm in the process of fighting the charges. But overall, I didn't have a good experience and they operated in a scammy way.

If you do the math that is $1950 so I would have been paying for the braces completely out of my own pocket and they still were going to charge my insurance. So, this place is committing insurance fraud. They tried me and I caught it and they did it to my girl years ago and she caught it. Its all about getting as much money from you as they can. I do not recommend going here and if you do, pay very close attention to your bill and have them submit a predetermined bill to your insurance company so they can tell you exactly how much you'll pay out of your pocket.

Every single visit, I'm told I owe some deductible or extra charges that end up not being correct…read more I have repeatedly had to call my insurance company myself, and then insurance has had to contact the office to explain that I did NOT owe what they were trying to charge me. A major issue seems to be their insistence on unnecessary X-rays. They push for X-rays at every visit even though many insurance plans only cover them once a year, and depending on patient history they may not even be medically necessary that often. It feels more about billing than patient care. I also had a filling done by another dentist recently, and this office tried to tell me I suddenly needed additional filling work on that same tooth, which immediately raised red flags for me. Combined with seeing charges of around $600 billed to insurance for a basic cleaning and exam, the whole experience felt extremely questionable. Patients should double-check their insurance benefits and recommended treatments before agreeing to additional services here.

I scheduled my grandson for a routine dental cleaning after calling Brident Dental. We arrived at 10:55 a.m., only to be told by the front desk that because the appointment was made through the call center, we would have to wait about two hours to be seen. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. The front desk representative was unprofessional and came across as though she did not want us to stay and wait. There was no apology, no attempt to find a solution, and no concern for the inconvenience after we arrived on time for the appointment they offered. I rescheduled the appointment, walked outside, and noticed Texas City Dental directly across the street. We walked in at 11:10 a.m. without an appointment, and my grandson was completely finished by 12:00 p.m. The staff was welcoming, professional, and organized despite having a busy office. Their time management and customer service were outstanding. Based on my experience, there's no reason to tolerate poor scheduling and customer service at Brident when Texas City Dental is literally across the street and provides a much better patient experience. Keep in mind that I've had poor service at Brident Dental every time I went there.

So I have had quite a bit of dental work here. 4 implants total. I have never experienced…read morerudeness here, in fact they have been very helpful and pleasant. There have been a few hiccups which they have resolved when I spoke with them. I have a really big fear of dental work. When I first started with treatment I had 2 failed crowns that had to have pulled, one of my back teeth was very difficult to get out I think because the root was too long or something. However the attempt to pull that tooth out was very painful and could not seem to be numbed as well as the other side. They finally called in someone to help and it worked, but it was very painful and added to my anxiety. After those implants were complete I had a front tooth break and needed both front teeth replaced. The financial person, Jollee was very helpful I had seen her at my first visit and she worked with my insurance and me to understand everything financially. When moving to my next procedures Jollee had moved "across" the street to their surgical center, so I had spoken with someone else and that experience was not as clear cut as Jollee, when I had my front tooth experience Jollee was back thank goodness and helped me understand my previous quotes and everything financially up to date. She is pleasant, kind and helpful. I also spoke with her about some of my previous experience with anxiety and why and she offered nitrous oxide and it was extremely helpful. It would be helpful to have an after visit summary as most of the time my anxiety is so high I have very little comprehension after the surgeries. My partner was always there thank goodness and they were able to give her my care plan. Dr. Pham was my initial dentist and now is Dr. Das, all the dentist/ surgeons have been helpful and kind. The environment is very clean and pleasant. I do recommend Clear Lake Dental. A lot of concerns can be alleviated by asking questions until everyone is clear on the expected outcome. If they offer a dental plan outside of your budget say no, and see if there is a less expensive plan. I did not give a 5 star because right now I have been waiting over a week for confirmation about a balance due. I don't want to get a text about a balance due without reviewing a statement. So hopefully they will send via email as I have asked via text and email.
