He proceeded to lie about the cost of the part. He proceeds to tell me the part is over $100. It's not. On Amazon it's $17. He then tells me to place the part would cost $400. The washing machine cost $475. It's a GE top load. Why would you pay just as much to fix it as a new one would cost. When questioned about both, he had no response. It made me feel as though he saw a woman and was going to take advantage of the situation. If you are a woman, proceed with caution or do your research prior to calling them. I wasted $150. I bought the part for $17 and a friend installed it. My machine works fine.
