I ultimately chose to do their "in house" dental because I was pleased with my initial visit. When I returned to have minor dental work done; they took their time to make sure I was calm and repeatedly asked if I wanted a break during the procedure. This was something huge to me because I was very anxious. The only reason this isn't a five star review is because I think there was a slight lack of consistency among the staff when it came to communicating. I found Dr. Lavu at https://iaomt.org/, so I was already impressed with her for that. Dentists at that website don't use toxic materials like mercury in their practice. After examining my mouth and seeing the x-rays, Dr. Lavu corroborated part of the other dentist's treatment plan and said that three cavities needed to be filled. She took a conservative approach and told me some things I could do to prevent needing work in the other areas the other dentist had included in his treatment plan. Dr. Lavu's treatment plan was $890. She's a master injector! When she injected the anesthetic in my gums, I barely felt a poke. She numbed it topically first with something on a Q-Tip, then she massaged the gum as she injected the numbing agent. It was the most painless injection I've ever had! To my very pleasant surprise, Dr. Lavu only charged me $805. They told me one problem turned out to be less than what they expected, so they charged me less. Who does that? She clearly has integrity and consideration for her patients. I'm very impressed with Dr. Lavu and her staff.

I'm from New Orleans and I moved to the DFW area in 2015. My teeth had plague that I could brush off and there were some sensitive spots. So I knew I needed to go to a dentist but I was concerned about the sensitive spots. But my concerns were lifted. The staff took me step by step through the procedures, cost, and recommendations. Most importantly, they noted my sensitive areas and cleaned them without much pain. I didn't know the sensitive areas were cleaned until I got home and stared at the mirror for about a hour. I can't say the same for everyone. But they definitely took care of me. I recommend them to others and can't wait to go back later this month.

It is a non-apology that has no empathy and has no accountability for the receptionist's rudeness; and they are implying that my feelings are the problem. I booked the appointment and I was off to the Dentist. Best Dental was easy to find but, there's a lot of traffic in the area. It's on the corner of Hulen and Altamesa. The building seems historic but, inside it's modern and cool. I was greeted right away when I walked in. Then, I was asked to fill out some forms. It only took five minutes. Then I was quickly called back to get my xray done by the D.A. that was really nice and personable. The Hygienist was also nice loaded with information. Dr. Brown, the Dentist was a female and she was super sweet! I could tell she had a great working relationship with my her team. I don't think I've been to a Dentist as nice as her. I had no cavities and she was really supportive of that. I could feel her positive energy unlike other Dentists out there. Also, the total cost of an Exam, Xay and Cleaning was $120. If you want Flouride it's not included and will be an additional $55. So, if your ok with that. Come here.
