After doing some research I decided to contact the office of Dr. Odunsi-Shiyanbade, to book an appointment for my GI needs. I left a voicemail requesting a call back & about 20 minutes later someone followed up with me. 30 seconds into the phone call & I could already tell this place was not very professional. Rather than thanking me for choosing their practice, the first thing the receptionist asked was "so what kind of insurance do you have"? I said that I think it's PPO with BCBS (b/c I'm at work & had to step away from my desk to take the call) & she became slightly irritated. She then began to question why I needed to see the GI & when I advised that I was no longer able to continue care with my previous GI due to relocation, she cut me off & said "well I can't schedule an appointment until I have your files & insurance"! While I'm well aware of what is needed in order to schedule an appointment, it was the tone & manner in which it was delivered that ultimately made me decline any further dealings with this particular office. The DFW area is rather large & while this particular office was more convenient for me, I'll gladly drive the 25-30 minutes to see a GI that respects my time & appreciates my business. read more

Colonoscopy on 12 July 2018. Show time 0900 hrs. Appt at 1000. Called from waiting room at 1015. Vitals taken disrobe. Dr. Bracy comes to say hi at 1115 . CRNA comes in to give IV sedative and am wheeled into endoscopy room at 1148. Almost 2 damn hours later! Bracy said NOTHING about running behind when he paid a short visit an hour earlier. Have not eaten in 48 hours (my call) Up shitting my brains out from prep most of the night.Been there 3 gdamn hours before procedure! Not a word telling me they are very behind. Called today , 8 days later. No one answered. On hold 8 min 34 sec to leave another unanswered message. After I vented to their recording I got a message on patient portal answering my request. They said the Dr would call. Did NOT happen. Will have my records sent elsewhere. Not going back to this place. To them, your time is of no importance. Only theirs. Dr. C. Warning. Run!! These people are deceptively scatter brained. Their office could not be any more deceptive than a thief. They quoted a price and charged our credit card then harassed us for two months for more money. They called over seven times for information before the surgery which was redundant. We gave the same information each time. It was like they lost it each time. The doctor was great but the office staff is horrendous. Again, RUN! read more

The staff at this Arlington location is not only discourteous but are untruthful in dealing with potential patients. I was referred by my PCP to Dr. Gentry and / or Dr. Owens based on who Dr. Adams (Oncologist) said he would recommend I see. Dr. Adams said to get with my PCP for a referral - which I did. Without even setting an appointment to see either Dr. Gentry or Dr. Owens I was told by Lisa that they had both declined the referral. I don't believe that. I am familiar with TDDC in Arlington because my husband was a patient there. I cannot believe how discourteous and unprofessional Lisa was - I don't remember being treated as if our situation was not important enough to see the Doctor that we were referred to. First she called and told me that Dr. Gentry had declined the referral because "he was very busy and hard to get in to see." When I asked about Dr. Owens she said she would refer to him. Within an hour, Lisa called back saying that Dr. Owens had declined the referral - no reason given. How is it that an Office Assistant gets to make a decision on whether a Dr sees you or not ? I would be afraid to see any Doctor that allowed his office personnel to make medical decisions for a patient or potential future patient. What is really worrisome is that Dr. Shah - my husband's GI was the one who initially found his cancer and how we eventually came to know Dr. Adams (the Oncologist.) Not anymore - we would not see Dr. Shah again because of the discourteous and disrespectful manner in which Lisa and his professional group treated me. Would not recommend TDDC - they are included in the Texas Health Network and are one of the biggest GI Networks in Texas and Louisiana. What a shame that good doctors allow themselves to get a bad reputation because of their office staff !! read more

Do not go here!! There office staff is discourteous and unorganized. I went for a scheduled appt that took me 7.5 weeks to get scheduled. I received a reminder call the day before in the afternoon and I had called the morning before to confirm the date. When I got there they were double booked didn't have another time available. The snooty receptionist told me that the appt was the next morning. This is totally incorrect and they had called to remind me. They were very non accommodating- and had the appt time wrong!! they even called to remind me the day before day which I advised the receptionist. She said, well your appt is tomorrow. I had a very dis-tastful feeling walking out of the office. The office manager was not available. They didn't care that they actually made a mistake with the appt time nor did they want to recognize it or try to help , I asked if there was any way they could squeeze me in with any MD in the clinic I was told no. I felt they didn't care about my need to be seen, and that I had taken the day off of work. I guess I will go somewhere else or wait until its an emergency. read more
