The guys that work there are all tattooed, dirty tan, rock and roll, trailer park looking guys. They look like they'd be in a TOBY Keith music video. I mean they look intimidating, but they are the nicest most helpful guys I've encountered. I mean one guy has a vapor pipe in his mouth half the time, and the other one is griping about the music on the radio, but they are good at what they do. I call them before I get there to tell them what's wrong with my car and they give me potential diagnosis of what it could be. I appreciate, Kris, Jason, and I forget the rest of the guys names, but they are awesome. Keep up the great work. I hope this doesn't go to their head. Updated a year later: Customer service is still great. Got a new car and one of my lights came on. Went in to ask if they could tell me what it was. Turns out it was time for an oil change, which confused me because the dealership told me they put synthetic oil in and I wouldn't need an oil change for 6 months. So he checks it and says, go elsewhere because the dealership maybe ripping me off. He even told me which type of synthetic to get. Even when I went in just for tire pump caps, they were so polite, and helpful. I love this location.

Online research lead to Wheels America. They had exactly one rim of the size and part # I needed and it was for a reasonable price, so I ordered it on the spot. While waiting on the rim I did a little more research for customer reviews. What I read was pretty awful and put knots in my stomach. But come what may, I made my choice and paid my money. Caveat Emptor. That being said, my rim arrived eight days later and it was exactly what I ordered, and in excellent condition. I was both very relieved and impressed with the condition of the rim. Maybe I got lucky with my purchase, who knows. But Wheels America came through for me. I give them a solid 4 stars. They don't get a full 5 stars because I received absolutely no purchase confirmation or shipping emails from them. All I got was an alert the day my CC had been charge for the rim then the rim just magically appeared at my door eight days later. I called WA several times but the phone was never answered, so yeah, I was sweating it out and trying to decide if I should dispute the charge. Anyhow, all's well now. WA could have earned 5 stars if they had just sent my a couple of status emails (and I did check my Junk mail folder periodically too)."

They didn't know what I was talking about but they did look to see if they had one in their inventory and.... They did! They gave me a competitive price with the yard I was going to go to and I bought theirs since I was already there. They pulled the engine off the shelves and loaded it up in my truck and everything was great. Then, I tried to return the engine. It doesn't say on the receipt that it there's a time limit on when the engine core can be returned, so I came back several months later to return the core. I went to the counter and told the guy I wanted to return the engine. He said, "It's been over 30 days, I can't take it back." Me: "It doesn't say anywhere that there's a time limit." "You'll have to talk to the owner but he's not here. You'll have to come back." Me: "You can't call him?" "He's out of the country." Me: "So you can't call him?" "No. Just call on Monday and you can talk to him." Me: "I already drove all the way out here, it took me this long just to find a time to bring it." "Sorry." So I held on to it for that long to return it and I get turned away. Forget that. I gave it to the scrap metal guy because driving out there is 45 minutes one way for a $100 core. I hate to throw away $100 like that but I already drove out there once, so 3 hours plus loading it and unloading it and storing it is not worth my time. What's the difference if I return a bad engine within 30 days and after 30 days? I guess they want to keep the core money. Two stars because the engine was in great shape, but their customer service could have been a lot better. It's a shame.
