They just recently got a new crew. Things are chaotic. It took six days to get our car back. I do have to say the finished product was good, however. If they had done it on time I would've given them three stars. If you can put up with the excuses and delays you will most likely end up with a finished product you're happy with. Have them take a picture of the completed product before pick up or they will let you drive out here for nothing. Don't expect any apologies out of them either! Update, on my way home the car began to shake. I pulled over and the lug-nuts had not been tightened on my wheels. I could remove half of them with my hand! Fortunately nobody was killed including me. I popped into Discount Tire and they re-balanced the unbalanced wheels and put the lug nuts on properly. There comment was when removing the seemingly hand tightened lug nuts was "it is almost like they were trying to kill you!" Again, the wheels looked nice, but the rest of it was an absolute nightmare. Again, no apology or follow up. I'm not asking for anything, but a little courtesy would have been nice.

Terrible work. Powder flaked off and cracked from the rubber mount at discount wheel and tire.

DO NOT GO HERE! These incompetent fools are claiming I'm making this up! Sadly, this is 100% the truth. Keep in mind this is the abbreviated version of the train wreck experience. I took a brand new 2015 factory Cadillac ATS wheel in that had a small scratch/rash on the wheel. No cracks. After taking 7 trips to their place and waiting hours in their fume filled waiting room(when they told me a 4pm pickup time), they finally ruined the wheel beyond repair. I emailed joe(joe@fixrim.com)pictures and asked what the next step was for them to replace my wheel, he refused. I've never dealt with a company with such poor skill and complete dishonesty. First time, they machined the entire face of the wheel with the wrong machine finish(see before and after pictures), and wrong color. Few more attempts at matching the color, still failed. The powdercoat was full of runs and still not a color match. They even refused to mount the tire back on the wheel because they knew their powdercoat wasn't going to hold, and it didn't. Their excuse for not wanting to mount the tire back on the wheel was "We don't have enough air." Right... Dealing with them was a total disaster that wasted me 2weeks of my time and resulted in me having to buy a new wheel on my own. Thanks for absolutely nothing Wheels of America.

The crap work they do. Not even close to being the same color

Uneven paint. The wheel clearly wasn't cleaned properly before painting. Overall very poor quality for the $400 it cost me for the wheel.

Dealership wanted basically half my bank account for a wheel, so I had to use my Google powers to find a place hopefully that's local that would sell my wheel and boom!

From start to finish, this was exactly the kind of professional, high-quality service you hope for but rarely find. Drew was incredibly helpful in the color selection process. I wanted to refresh the look of my Apex VS-5RS wheels on my 2020 BMW M2 Competition (Hockenheim Silver), which were originally in brushed aluminum. After discussing options, we settled on Prismatic Champagne Gold - a gorgeous silver with just a hint of gold that complements the car perfectly. Drew's expertise really showed here; the color choice was spot-on. **What impressed me most:** - **Punctuality:** Drew met me right at 9am as scheduled - no waiting around - **Pricing:** Very fair and competitive rates - **Quality:** The powder coating work is absolutely flawless - **Personality:** Drew is genuinely friendly and clearly knows his craft inside and out - **Turn-key Service:** They offered a complete package deal with discounted wheel dismounting/mounting and professional balancing when the work was finished The finished product speaks for itself - the Prismatic Champagne Gold finish looks incredible against the Hockenheim Silver paint. The quality of the coating is top-notch with perfect coverage and a beautiful, consistent finish. If you're looking for powder coating services and willing to make the drive up to Plano, Unit F14 is absolutely worth it. Drew and his team deliver professional results with excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back for future projects, like a set of F90 BMW Calipers for my 640i GT that I've got my eye on.... *Highly recommended for anyone looking to refresh their wheels or other powder coating needs.*

Absolutely terrible experience!…read more After continuing to experience low air pressure on my front left tire, I had taken my vehicle to Discount Tire on March 17th and was told the rim was bent on the inside. Discount Tire removed my two front rims and installed my factory rims because I wanted the two front rims to match each other while that chrome rim were being repaired. On March 18th, 2026 my friend took my rim to LoneStar Wheel Repair and the repairs were completed, we paid $154.50 and picked up the rim up on March 20th. On March 20th 2026, Discount Tire removed the factory rims, replaced the chrome rims, put the repaired rims on the opposite side. On March 21st 2026 when I got in my car the air was back down to 19, so I called LoneStar Wheel Repair, but they close at noon on Saturdays. So, I went back to Discount Tire they checked the tires/rim and it was determined it wad still bent and needed to be repaired again. On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, I called LoneStar Wheel Repair and was told to bring it in. This time I drove over and when I got out of the car, the Owner, immediately guaranteed me that it was a different rim. Even before she liked at it. The, owner insisted they "mark" all repaired rims but refused to let me see these so called markings. Instead of even trying to understand what happened, she accused me of damaging another rim within less than 24 hours and blamed "the way I drive." Completely unprofessional! They refused to take responsibility and charged me another $154.50 to fix what was clearly the same rim. No accountability, no customer service, and very disrespectful treatment. I would not trust this business especially if you drive a nice vehicle and expect careful honest service. This experience made me feel dismissed, disrespected, and taken advantage of, please stay away
