Horrible experience. Went in for ablasian of varicose veins. This treatment is a 4 day procedure, under local anesthetic. The procedure lasts just a few minutes. Was told the worst part of the procedure is administering the anesthetic, because it burns a little, and having to wear the support stockings for two weeks. Day one, not so bad. Just a little pressure. Day two was more painful. But day 3 & 4 were an absolute nightmare! On Day 3, I expressed to Dr. Fox that it is was very painful, and he said he would add more anesthetic. The last day? Horrible! I told Dr. Fox before the procedure that he hurt me the day before, and could he please use more of the anesthetic before starting. He said he would, but it was awful! I felt everything! I cried out in pain, and he didn't stop. Kept right on going. I will never let Dr. Fox touch me again. I did let the staff know. Both his assistant and the PA both were very kind and apologetic. But neither seemed very surprised. Maybe they were just being "professional" or maybe they've heard this before. IDK I just wanted to warn any other potential clients. read more

I had several procedures done back in 2021 and 22. My insurance and I paid all the bills that were due. Today, February 6, 2025, I get a notice from a collection agency in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It says that my account has been turned over for collections for an outstanding bill of $99.80 from 1/27/2022. I have lived in the same home for 24 years. There's no way I would not have received a bill if it had been sent, especially if it had been sent multiple times! I called Dr. Fox's office wanting to get this resolved. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that they don't deal with it. I have to call the collection agency. I explain to that person that I had no intention of calling the collection agency - that I wanted to speak with someone from Dr. Fox's office. She said they were in a meeting and someone would call me back. I said good because I want to talk with someone today, that if I can't get satisfaction, I will have to engage an attorney. I want an apology, I want the collection agency called off, and I want my credit restored. I am furious! I cannot recommend Texas Endovascular or Dr. Fox because of this. read more

I was referred to Dr. Fox by my Cardiologist due to progressive swelling in my calf. I have an old blood clot (DVT) and was looking for a solution for Post Thrombotic Syndrome (calf swelling). I was sent for a CT scan and during my follow-up consultation, I was diagnosed with a compressed vein due to curvature of my spine. I was told this was likely the cause of the old blood clot. Dr. Fox advised he could place a stint in the compressed vein to allow more flow. He also advised he would address the varicose veins he could in my leg during the surgery. I was excited to hear this news and scheduled my surgery appointment. My wife and I both took off work, boarded our dogs, booked a room and traveled to Houston. My appointment was at 7:00 a.m., and I was called back for surgery around 7:30 a.m. After a 2-hour wait in my bed, I was visited by Dr. Fox and he explained the procedure to place the stint and that I would be on blood thinners for two weeks. He advised me to take it easy for a week after and no heavy lifting for one month. I was then brought into surgery. When I woke up, I asked how it went and was told by the nurse that they did not place the stint because my vein was not restricted. I was also told that my varicose veins were not even looked at. I have good insurance; however, I was asked to pay $2500 out of pocket for this procedure when I arrived. Bottom line: If I had been told that this was an "exploratory" procedure to SEE if a stint was needed, I might not have decided to have it done. Dr. Fox assured me he could help my condition. However, I left with a new cut and nothing else. So, I was asked to pay $2500 for essentially nothing. Dr. Fox, my feedback is to be transparent with your patients upfront before you get the patient's hopes up that you have a solution. Also, it would be helpful to honor what you say you will do. (i.e., Varicose veins). If you cannot, for some reason, please visit the patient after surgery before you go to the next one. I waited a while to discuss it with you and eventually left. I should have listened to your NP/assistant when she said placing the stint may not happen. I will not be back, I will not be paying $2500, and I will not be recommending Texas Endovascular. read more

I've only had a consult with them but the staff was super welcoming, inclusive, and caring. As a queer human, I always am nervous going to the doctor's office but they were so nice. I met with Katie and Dr. Fox and both were so nice. I wish I could give them way more stars. read more

I was referred for chronic venous insufficiency evidenced by discolorations on calves & feet, afternoon ankle swelling, and occasional calf pain. They recommended endovascular ablation and I left the initial consultation believing my issues would be resolved quickly. The only risk mentioned was possibility of infection due to very small incisions, and I was told without treatment, I might develop ulcers. One year later, 13 office visits, and a lot of money, I'm much worse off- 24/7 discomfort, swelling, phlebitis and now varicose veins developing. This is more a criticism of the practice's lack of transparency and communication than of Dr. Fox's ability. When things went wrong, it was like pulling teeth to get an answer. Apparently, 20% of people have an immune/allergic response to the foam injected, and I am one of them. Steroids/NSAIDs haven't helped, and their answer was to recommend more treatments for another $1,600 out of pocket, which I cannot afford. read more

I went to Texas Endovascular for help with my fibroids issue. I thought Dr. Eric Hardee was a great doctor! His staff was excellent and caring!! His office is clean and professional and his surgical center is high tech and top of the line. Even when I gave them a hard time because I was scared and thought I could die, they still continued to help me. I am so grateful to Dr. Hardee and his staff for giving my life back to me. read more

This is by far the best medical appointment I've ever had from start to finish. Dr Fox did 3 vein ablations last week and I am healing nicely. I was a bit nervous, not knowing what to expect. But he is very good about explaining everything and very calm. Jackie, Hilisia,Jessica and Susan all made each visit a pleasant experience as well. If you need any vein work, this is the place to go.
