I got a lot - more than I usually eat - but have no regrets. The salad was fresh and included olives and cukes - a nice touch. Chicken wings were fine yet obviously not what they're known for. The six wings were mostly drummettes deep fried but not breaded or greasy. They were good. The regular hamburger was ample! Great flavor. Lemon pie had a layer of frozen custard in the middle- very nice! All this and two bottles of water for $19. Nice owner, and nice staff, too. Texas Flaming Grill had great food! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, my wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the kids had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, kids cheeseburger, and a kid hotdog. All of the food was good! Their service was great too! What made it even nicer is that we were able to order on their website and and schedule a time when you wanted it to be ready. That worked great for us since we were driving home from our vacation in Arkansas to Midland TX and we wanted to eat something a step up from the normal fast food chains. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it seemed like prices were slightly high. I'd still recommend eating here and I'd probably eat there again myself when we pass through the area again. read more

This place is pretty darn good! I've driven past it a few times and always meant to turn in and see what it's all about. Finally.. as things happen.. I was looking for a place to eat with my wife.. and we were having one of those... what do you want.. I don't care.. what do you want.. endless conversations that inevitably ends up in us driving around for 3 hours then stopping at Whataburger after we cant take it anymore... this time though... TADA!! Our Savior!! The counter lady was funny.. and we shared a laugh about Fanta... trust me.. it was hilarious.. I ordered the cheesesteak "The Bomb" which essentially is a regular cheese steak with pepperoni... this was super good!!! It was so hot.. not warm.. hot! Perfect!! My wife had the cheese burger.. this was also good! The seasoning was very good and the thickness was just right. Not to much bun to ruin it. The only draw back, and the reason for a star deduction.. was the burger was kind of hard.. not old hard, just a bit harder than expected.. maybe cooked a bit to long so it was well done, or as my wife guesses, that it was frozen at some point.. still good.. but fix that.. and you'll have the best burger in town. The food here is solid. I drive Uber and Lyft and I constantly get orders from this place all over town. The food tastes better than the location looks. Most people that don't know about this place might drive right by on the basis of looks. Do yourself a favor and pull in. You won't regret it. At this point I've had several of their menu items. Damn good burger! Wasn't expecting much but it was very tasty, the bun was toasted and crispy. I just had a hamburger which comes with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato & onion (passed on the onion.) It was quite a good sized burger as well. Didn't try the fries as I was already full, but those I must admit didn't look like much and I really didn't want them but no way to only order a burger, which is the only reason to knock off a star cuz it was a waste of food for me. read more

Never tried this spot until today. Read reviews and was sold on the Philly Cheese Steak Bomb. The sandwich was good but not great. The bread was about as flavorless as can be. The food was hot and the French fries were crispy and great, even after taking my food to go. The ladies up front where kind and friendly. I'll likely try this slot again but get something different next time. With better bread that cheese steak could be a winner. Try it out! read more

If you're looking for something upscale and classy, this isn't the place. BUT...If you're looking for a good old "burger joint" this is it! It's a small white building on Ambler Avenue. The food was fantastic! The burgers and fries come out piping hot and delicious. The wait is short and when your food is ready the cook rings the bell, just like the good old days. Food was excellent. Atmosphere lacking. You order as you walk in the food is brought to you. The building appears to have been a Dairy Queen sometime in the past. I had Gyro plate with fries and Greek salad. Both were served on real dishes, not paper so that's a good plus. However, did have plastic fork but at least it was good quality and held up well. Portions were large; you will not leave hungry. Everyone else around me had burgers and plates were empty so they must've been happy with their food as well. read more

Its not hard to make Chili Cheese Fries, but apparently they need a refresher course cause this is what we got: - Fries - thumbs up. Needed more, esp. for the price. - Chili - meh, even bad church potluck chili is better. - Cheese - where? I'm pretty sure they used cheese out of a spray can, and didn't even bother putting enough on. Their Philly Cheese Steak was good, so get that instead. read more

We were visiting my sister and we were looking for a decent burger place. All the other reviews were not promising except this one (mostly because the other places staff were not using masks). This place all had their masks on! I pulled through the drive thru and a lovely young lady took my order and she double made sure she got it correct. I did have to wait for my food to be done in front but it came out piping hot. I got home and the aroma smelled amazing! The food was very tasty and exactly how I ordered it!
