He flushed out the line with nitrogen and checked the filter. Filter was still good. He also cleaned the outer parts of the compressor. He gave me a detailed report on the health of the system. I called Trusted heating & cooling to sign up for the maintenance package. They came out and asked if I had any concerns with our system and told them down stairs unit was just replaced last year and the other been working fine. The technician then went and removed all of our air filters and told us we should replace them cuz they're dirty and left them on the side of the wall. He then went upstairs to look at the upstairs unit and turn on the AC to test it and went in our attic to look at the system. At this time our system was blowing cold air and everything was fine. He then and called me and said there was a problem and had me come up to the attic. He was trying to explain to me what was wrong but was having a hard time explaining it. Something about the board not working which I was confused and kept asking. Well it's been working completely fine today so I don't understand. He then told me I should just call our home warranty and they can fix it. Still confused as to if it was broken or not but said okay. Maintenance the other one. I thought this was very strange but figured out. I'll just have someone take a look at it. He then calls me outside about our brand new unit and tells me this one is broken as well. Once again not making sense and how it was broken that just it wasn't working and I should call the people that installed it and he doesn't want to touch it. It seems since I told him we had home owners warranty, he didn't want to work on any of our equipment because he couldn't upsell us. Also, I think he knew he broke the upstairs and wanted to leave as fast as possible. Once he left and I went upstairs I noticed it was tremendously hot and something wasn't right. I called the office and told them I believe it's broken. When I was looking at the thermostat nothing was working. When I spoke to the series manager he just said that his technician took videos and documented that it was already broken once he arrived. This is obviously not true because if it wasn't working we would have called our homeowners insurance not them to get are semi-annual maintenance before summer. The service manager didn't even try to help us get this resolved and back up and working basically said it was already broken and we are trying to pull fast one. I have never received this type of customer service before. I would never recommend this place to anyone. By far the worst experience I've ever had.

The Yelp page states that Trusted heating and cooling is based on respect and integrity, we did not experience that. We were told the scheduled maintenance to last 2 hours. The technician came in without offering to wear booties. Took down the filters and never put them back in. The technician then looked at the thermostat, turned the A/C on. We felt the COLD air come out. The technician then went to the unit, spent 15 minutes looking at the unit and said it was broken. We said that isn't the case because we could feel cold air at that exact time. He said we should contact our home warranty insurance and walked away. He then looked at our second a/c unit and said it was also broken (it is a brand new unit installed in May 2025) and to go through the company that installed it. He didn't seem like he wanted to work on anything since we told the technician we had home warranty insurance, which would limit his ability to upsell. Once he left, we noticed the first a/c unit stopped working and the thermostat signal light stopped blinking. The heat, fan and A/C stopped working. The other unit is working (thankfully). We immediately called the company back and were told the unit was broken and they will charge us $900 to fix it. And a technician couldn't come back until the next day. We told them our side of the story, how everything was working fine, but they shrugged it off. Stated they have video evidence it doesn't work. The technician was able to use the thermostat, the thermostat light was blinking and the unit was working properly. And now it is reported that it's broken upon seeing the unit. Trusted Heating and Cooling isn't taking accountability for the problem they caused, no ownership and no customer service to even offer to look at the unit to review what the technician reported and to try to fix it. They are following a report with notes that wasn't discussed with us and completely disregarding our point of the view. Do not use this company, as documented with other the reviews. We now need to find another solution to their problem, as we are now left with a A/C system that no longer works.

If you've never heard of the variable speed system, do yourself a favor. It is so quiet and extremely efficient. Price was less than some had quoted for regular or dual stage systems. We hired QLS to install a mini split for us in our pool house in 2017, we had a few issues taken…read morecare of by other companies throughout the years. Nothing was ever noted that installation was done poorly or incorrectly, as you can't see into the wall to know until after what happened as that could not be seen. Fast forward about 5 years, and the unit on the back of the house fell off the wall, causing damage to the electrical wiring and copper tubing. We contacted QLS for service to look at the unit, determine why it had fallen and to see if it could be repaired. QLS did come out this time and re-hung the unit, stating it wasn't bolted into any studs and only the siding and the OSB. The technicians couldn't get the unit working on the first visit. They dropped off the disconnect breaker at the door to my kids and said they didn't have one. I was able to test the breaker and determine it was functional and opened the cover for the electrical wiring and found the supply wiring was not visible as it pulled into the flex conduit coming from the disconnect to the unit. I re-terminated the wiring and the unit powers up but won't blow cold air. I let QLS know what I found and they said they would come back out. The tech on the second visit ended up fixing the unit letting us know the copper tubing was crushed and all the refrigerant had leaked out, was able to un-kink the tubing and recharge the system. They later sent an invoice for $811, without ever confirming the estimate with us prior to fixing the unit or even giving us a clue as to what it might cost. We would NOT have approved of that cost. We would have said we do not need the unit anymore, we already have a window unit in there from the other times it did not work. We feel this should have been communicated better and honestly feel taken care of by the company, not because they had to or it was under warranty. Obviously, it wasn't by this time. But more to do with the fact that properly installed units do not just fall off walls for no reason. It wasn't neglect or even an accident on our part. Even QLS admits that units do not just fall off the wall, and they provided some pretty wild hypotheses as to how a motorcycle driving through our yard knocked it off the wall, while not physically damaging the units frame or coil fins, not even a scratch on the paint. (We do not own a motorcycle, the marks the tech saw were clearly from mowing the area so that the tech could access the unit). If the owner would have really analyzed the images we sent, he would see that it's technically impossible for the unit to have been hit due to placement and tracks. Well played QLS, doing some questionable work in hopes that by the time anyone notices, you can technically and legally claim it's not your problem anymore.

QLS installed a new Bryant AC unit for me in April. I was very happy at that time. Along with the…read moreAC unit, they replaced the thermostat which is made by Honeywell. Something happened to the thermostat and it wasn't working. I called QLS on a Friday and they told me to call Honeywell as their techs don't reprogram the thermostats. I found out then that Honeywell outsources troubleshooting to Resideo. Resideo call center keeps regular office hours so I did not have AC for a weekend. Since the Resideo Tech and I could not get the thermostat to work, I called QLS again who sent a tech out, and he replaced the old one. I called Resideo back and they helped me reprogram the thermostat. I've had no more problems with it. QLS didn't charge for that visit. In October, I was having trouble with the heater. I called QLS and a technician came out. He looked over the system and had to replace the circuitboard. I asked him if I could pay the bill and he said there would be no charge as the part was under warranty. Later in October, I received a text message that I owed for the service. I called and Vanessa said she would check into it, I assumed everything was taken care of. Today I get another text message that I owe for the visit back in October. When I called in, I was told that while the tech was here, he did a semi-annual checkup on the unit and that's what I'm being charged for. I was very upset because I'd been told by the tech I didn't owe for of the visit- had he told me I owed for a check up, I would have paid it during the original visit. When I called in back in October to the office, I assumed everything was fine because I heard nothing back for a month. QLS is extremely responsive to calls, and their texts are professional and friendly. But beware of communication issues and charges.
