I just want to give an update and would say steer clear of this company as others have mentioned that they do not care about your investment. We spoke to the owner and all he really cared was to ask us to update this review and didn't want to help satisfy our complaint. read more

I purchased a Rio Elite Spa less than a year ago and the lighting insde the hot tub cracked. Its under warranty but I have to pay a "Trip Fee" for the technician to fix the issue. The Manager waived the Trip fee and sent a technician out to correct the issue. Job Well done and Bravo for taking care of your customers. read more

I bought my hot tub from Justin about 9 months ago. He was very helpful, patient and great to work with. I'll be honest, if I had did this review after 6 months, it would have been 5 stars. LOVED THE HOT TUB! Then, it developed a leak. No big deal, it happens. It took almost 3 weeks for them to come out, but they fixed it. For about 2 weeks. Started leaking again, another 3 weeks. They came, fixed it and it started leaking the next day. They say it is going to be several weeks. It can't be used at all. Cannot recommend buying from there! read more

We purchased a hot tub from Texas Hot Tub Company, it was delivered and filled up, we immediately saw that it was leaking. It took them at least a one and a half months with various technicians coming out to see if they could find where the leak was coming from. Then replaced a part and they said it was the leak was fixed, we didn't see the water trickling down the patio like we had so we thought that it was. We continued to see water at the base of the hot tub with chlorine buildup for the next 3-4 months, and because we've never owned a hot tub we didn't realize that this was not normal. Then we started to see water trickling down our back patio again. We called them again to get someone out to take a look at it. We had 3 more techs come out over the next few weeks to try and fix it. (One of those technicians informed us that it was normal to have a hot tub delivered and it leak right away...) The last Technician informed me that they would have to take the hot tub into the warehouse to see if they could find the leak. Now two months later they still have not come to pick up the hot tub. I would never have bought a hot tub from this company if I had known this was going to happen. ****shortly after this post I was contacted and they have come and picked up the hot tub and rectified this whole situation.**** read more

WARNING WILL ROBERTSON!!! Texas Hot Tub Company doesn't honor their warranties. My brand new Hot Spring Pace spa was delivered in July 2021 after a 3-month delay. I was warned in advance that the delivery might be delayed due to the COVID pandemic, so I was prepared for that. Although the actual delivery and installation went fine the side panels of my spa began buckling and falling down just 2 months after delivery. I called for warranty service in September and they sent a repair crew out a week later to re-install them. But just 2 weeks later the panels did the same thing...buckling and falling off. They slip down and bow out a bit more every time I close the spa cover. Keep in mind that this spa gets used approximately once a week. It's obvious that the side panels are too short to stay locked in place behind their retaining brackets. They keep coming out from under the brackets, leaving gaps that expose the electronic components, wiring and pump of the spa to the elements. In October, I called for warranty service again but heard nothing until I followed up 5 weeks later. In November, I was told that the panels needed to be replaced with longer ones that had to be special ordered from the factory. Unfortunately, that was the last time I ever heard from Texas Hot Tub Company. I followed up with them in January and was told that the panels are still on order. I followed up again in April and didn't even get a response. It's now been a full year since my spa was delivered and its side panels are still bowed out and falling down. And some 10 MONTHS after my initial warranty request I still have a defective hot tub and zero information about when it will be repaired. My patience has officially run out on this issue. Since it appears that Texas Hot Tub Company has no intention of honoring their warranty I've taken the step of posting this review. My next step will be to contact the BBB to try and get this issue resolved. I'll also try Hot Spring directly to see if they're prepared to fix their defective product. BUYER BEWARE when purchasing anything from these guys. read more

TLDR: Texas Hot Tub Company does not have actual technicians who will diagnose and repair your hot tub, only attempt to sell you costly replacement parts after misdiagnosing the issue. I own a Hot Spot SX that was purchased from Texas Hot Tub Company by the previous owner of my home. I called and requested service because the pump would not turn on. A technician came to our house and his troubleshooting consisted of pressing the "jets" button and confirming that, indeed, the pump would not turn on. After that thorough inspection he concluded the pump needed to be replaced. He estimated he could do it for $950. He also informed me that Texas Hot Tubs does not repair pumps, only replaces them with new replacements. I wasn't convinced, so I removed the hot tub pump and took it to JR Spas in Granbury. They put the pump on a test bench and concluded the pump was operating correctly. I reinstalled the pump, but it would still not activate. I contacted Texas Leisure and they scheduled a technician. He actually took the time to use a multimeter and test various components and found a blown fuse, a $2 part that he didn't even charge me for. So, in conclusion, I spent $170 for a visit from a Texas Hot Tub Company "technician" who misdiagnosed the problem and attempted to sell me a $1000 repair. All for a $2 part. After contacting the store to explain the situation with no resolution, I now realize I will take my business elsewhere. Trust their "expertise" at your own risk. However, I can highly recommend Texas Leisure if you have any hot tub problems that need actual troubleshooting by an actual technician. read more

Your sales team lied twice and the person in office that sets up deliveries lied twice . I do not trust them now and I am stuck with a hot tub I am not happy with due to the sales person lying. During the sales pitch was told we should get the smaller one Pace because we would just have to plug it in and would not need an electrician. Lie number one it has a special plug that you have get an outlet designed for it and rewire a preexisting outlet cut into your brick to make room for it. Would have went with the 230 one instead since the breaker box was already in place. Lie number two was told they could make deliveries on Saturday , wrong . The lady in office went to set up the delivery was I told they would deliver the spa between 2-4 pm with 30 minute notice. Wrong ! Was given a 10 minute notice at 11:40 am . I had set up to leave work and have someone there. Due to the lie , I was unable to leave work at that time and the person who I had coming as back up was unable to be there. We had to rush around due to 10 minute notice and I had to find someone to be there . Due to the lie was not home when it was delivered because I was unable to get off work that early. The hot tub is not exactly where I would like it and we are unable to move it now. I have a hot tub that the temperature goes down when I run the jets due to heater not coming on because we got talked into the 115 instead of the one I wanted . Thanks for nothing read more

I ordered a Hot Tub in August 2021 and was told that it would be delivered mid September. After waiting two months I was still not given a firm date and continued to get the run around. I told them to cancel a return my deposit so I could go somewhere else. They said the fine print states that no deposit will be returned due to shipping delays. Do not do business with these scam artists, any legit company would have refunded our deposit if they didn't deliver what they said. I think they just collect $500 and wait for you to get sick of waiting so they can keep your money. read more

After two weeks of no phone call They have never gotten back with me. They came out and fixed my tub on the first visit after trying to get it fixed through a warranty company for over a year and a half dealing with companies that did. It know what they were doing. Bought my hot tub about 3 years ago from Coleman's Bright Ideas. This is our second hot tub bought from them and both experiences have been very good. Have been trying to get service now for several months and I guess they've been bought out. Have made at least 4 phone calls. Phone is answered, directed somewhere, phone rings and goes to voicemail and there it ends. First 3 or 4 calls were to order a new top for my spa. Next call I thought I would just ask for service and then let them know I need to factor in a top for the spa. Same result...no response after voicemail. Coleman's I would give very high rating. Now, unfortunately I can't give more than 1 star because I can't get anywhere. I rarely review and when I do it is usually a bad review and it takes me a lot to get to this point. Now I'm searching for any company that can service my spa and install a new top. I've also looked to by directly from Hot Springs and maybe install myself. read more

They came out to service my hot tub that was leaking. It appeared to be the pump leaking which was around $1000. When they got here to fix it, he ran the checks again and found that it was a drain plug on the pump that had broken. it didn't cost ANYTHING. They could easily have made the replacement and charged me $1000 , but they are ethical and skilled at servicing. I highly recommend them! read more

I am very happy with my Hot Springs Spa, but I would not recommend purchasing from Coleman Backyards. Once that spa is delivered they could care less about customer service. On the other hand, the customer service I received directly from Watkins Wellness (Hot Springs parent company) was excellent. The information provided from Watkins totally went against the information I was given by Coleman's customer support. They tried to say my Freshwater Salt hot tub may need to be emptied and refilled every few weeks, if I continued to use it for a half-hour every day. The actual problem was that it needed to be refilled because their person who came out to help me set it up made numerous mistakes. (I have a video to prove it!) In reply to your response. Your support person only offered me the option to drain and refill exactly as I had done before (after 3 weeks of use). They offered zero possible solutions as to what went wrong and what I could do differently. The person was rude "Sorry, you don't like our answer." No additional chemicals or supplies were provided. I only received real support when I contacted Watkins directly. They determined that person who came to help set up the tub did things incorrectly. (I have a video!) Bottom line ... your people have not been trained to offer acceptable customer support after the sale. read more

From start to end, our experience was a terrific one. Justin is very knowledgeable and was very helpful as we asked so many questions about spas. Justin helped us with our final selection of our spa and we chose a HotSpring as they have a terrific rating for providing hydrotherapy will low maintenance and so far, we are very pleased with our purchase. I have struggles with Baghdad sore lower back and our spa provides much needed relief to this veteran back and aching bones. Coleman provided us with the electrical installation, delivery of our spa and then educated us on the process of running a spa and chemical use.
