Tells the truth and speaks from experience. We purchased our spa on a Saturday and they delivered and installed it on Friday. Everyone else told us 6-8 weeks which also made us worry about waits for future services if needed. The installation team was fantastic, and the training class after fill up was a great added service. We learned so much from the installation team. I don't often take the time to write reviews but I have to put in a good word for Joe! My hot tub has not been working for over a year and so I gave them a call. I thought I had double checked all my GFI's. Joe recommended making sure to check the master closet and look everywhere. Sure enough there was a hidden GFI and my jetted bathtub started working right away. I was about to have the Tile removed in order to have the motor repaired. BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a Hot Tub from JR Spa's a few years ago and have regretted it since then. A few days ago, my sucondary panel blew the breaker that protects the spa. Due to the current supply chain issues we are all facing, I was having trouble finding the replacement after calling 3-4 dealers. Since my local Home Depot, Lowes and a few other distributors carry the part but are currently out of stock, I decided to call the dealer I purchased my spa from to see if they had any available. After a short conversation, I asked him the price. When he stated $250, I told him that was an outrages price. I told him the that was doubled what other resellers were selling the same breaker at $125. He chuckled and said they didn't have the part, and if I wanted his it would be $250. Supply and demand, and he had the breaker and they didn't. After I informed him that was price goughing and no way to treat any customer, past or future, he could care less. They figured that since they already made the $10k Spa sale, why worry about a client that needed some help. I am not worried that I will find the part. The issue has clearly proven to me that JR Spas is not the ethical kind of dealer I would reccomend to my friends or family. BUYERS BEWARE read more

J R Spa helped me out when my jetted tub needed repairs during a bathroom renovation. No plumbers would help. None. Finally one referred me to J R Spa instead of another plumber who wouldn't help. The PVC piping had developed leaks after becoming brittle over 20 years in place. The tub was in the yard and able to be accessed with electricity and water, so Joe ordered and replaced the piping and yellowed jet covers and dials so it looks better than ever. They did a great job. Spa companies don't operate like plumbers, however, where they stay on a job until it's finished. Not too many spa emergencies, I guess. It took 3 or 4 trips to complete the job, getting back on the schedule each time. This delayed my renovation project by a few weeks. read more

These guys are the best!! I purchased a spa from a different dealer and immediately had some minor issues. The place of purchase kept blaming it on the Texas heat and never once offered to send someone out to look at the problem. He wanted me to live with it as is. Here's where Ken from Jr spa stepped up to the plate. He promptly sent a technician out and replaced the amp in the stereo unit. Also the place of purchase had the tub programmed wrong so it was on a 22 hour cleaning the technician reprogrammed it and explained in detail how to do it. He also showed her how to clean the 2 fountain screen filters and sealed my display for the tub. I am extremely excited to work with this new company! I have had a great customer experience with JR Spa over the last 4 years! They are very reliable and responsive, with a technician available within the week, where last company I used would not arrive until weeks or months later. Another reason why I was grateful to luck upon JR Spa. Brad has been the technical for most of the service calls. He is very knowledgeable, explaining issues in detail and going over pricing, thereby allowing me to make an informed decision on repair options. The most recent service call was last month, when one of the pumps started making a loud noise. Brad arrived to troubleshoot and determined the pump could be repaired vs. replaced. He also went over general tips for upkeep and recommended chemicals for the spa. Brad made a follow-up trip to prime the newly-repaired pump once I'd been able to refill, which he was able to do without me being home. My spa is now running great, thanks to JR Spa! read more

Be careful, They were sent to my house for warranty work and it ended up not being warranty. It was the GFCI Breaker that went out and they charged me $150.00 for the part. You can buy this part all day long for almost half of this $82.00 at Home Depot. I understand they need to make money and would have been fine had they charged me $100.00- $120.00 for the part, but to hit me for almost double is not good business. I scheduled an appt and they never showed up after i took the day off. Dont use their services. They are not reliable and it is not true I cancelled before you arrived. You were supposed to be there between 9am-12pm. At 4:30 pm I called to let you know I could not wait any longer. At that time I was told I could authorize you being there in my absence. You shouldve told me that when I scheduled the appt or one of the 4 times I called between 12p-4:30p to see when you were coming. read more

The customer service is great! My hot tub recently had two major issues and not only did this company fix the issues but their repairs come with a warranty. While my repairs cost a total of $1500 my hot tub runs quieter than it ever did and it heats up quickly. Yeah I know that sounds like a lot but they replaced one pump with a more powerful one, the main circuit board, and labor which turns out to be a good deal. Becky was my service tech and she does an amazing job and is direct to the point. She works quickly and is top notch. Renee the receptionist is very kind and does a great job of keeping an open line of communication with the customer. I highly recommend JR's and plan on buying my next hot tub from them. read more

This company was referred from a neighborhood chat group. to repair a leak in my free standing hot tub. They came out the first time for $100 and told me they would need to return with more help to stand up the tub on it's side to find the leak. I asked would they be able to find and fix the leak. The answer was it should not be a problem but will probably take several hours I agreed and they came out. Three guys arrived and stood the tub on it's side. I had already drained it as that's what the first guy told me when we discussed it on the first visit. Took them about twenty minutes to stand up. Two of the guys just stood around for about 30 minutes smoking cigarettes while the other guy started cutting into the foam insulation. He worked on that for about 6 hours. I checked with him periodically and he said "it might be leaking here" several times but he wasn't sure. When i started to question him about his previous comments that he made about finding the leak he said we should have put dye in it. First I had heard of that. He finally gave up saying there were a couple of fittings that might be bad but he did not have those on his truck. He said he needed to collect payment ($600) and would come back with correct fittings. It has been almost a month and I have heard nothing. Let me save you the dumb tax. Call somebody else!!! These guys may be great doing somethings but not fixing leaks or following up with customers who spend almost $700 with them read more
