Now that they are in a nice building in a strip center, I could not believe how high the prices were. And I was very surprised at the small inventory of reclining sectionals! Alright then, let's me start off with a bit of humor with my review…read more First off yes we have another mattress store in Pflugerville; however, on the east side of toll 130 across from Hendrickson high school. To be honest they really chose a great high traffic location. Their marketing has been superb since they opened at this location. They also have a location in Georgetown. The owner Austin and his partner are both military veterans. He will give you the history about him and his battle buddy Jesse. While we didnt get to meet Jesse in person during our visit because he was at their Georgetown location, you will understand how much Austin and Jesse are truly battle buddies from the Army. Go Army!! My wife and I told Austin we were both Army veterans as well at the end of our shopping experience. Austin told us we should have said something up front about being veterans, but i wanted to experience raw interaction and understand how this place treats it's customers. Both my wife and I had a fantastic experience shopping at Mattress Gallery Direct. Austin was straightforward, honest, and followed through on everything he promised. As a veteran-owned business, their commitment to integrity and leadership is very apparent. ​What stood out the most was the respect we were shown. In many retail environments, customers are often judged the moment they walk through the door, but Austin provided an inclusive and welcoming experience from start to finish. To top it off as people would walk in or to pickup their own mattress, Austin and one of his subordinates treated everyone the same way as equals. He didn't try to sell anything to anyone they didn't want or was out of their budget. He was straight forward with another guy and offered up front the mattresses that were within his budget. Austin was straightforward everyone. He was able to make another deal while closing a deal with us. My wife and I chose a commercial king mattress that fit within our budget and comfort levels that we wanted. I came back an hour later to buy a queen mattress for our teenage son. They offer zero percent financing if you qualify and they do offer military discount to veterans. The integrity of my experience was astonishing because Austin explained about while the bank is offering zero percent finance, he said if you add up th 12-month payments, you will be short of the full payment. He told us to make sure we paid it off in full before the 12 month mark because if not it will be 34%. It's refreshing to support a business that treats everyone with genuine professionalism regardless of appearances. If you want a no-pressure, respectful, and honest mattress shopping experience, I highly recommend visiting this mattress store. Truthfully overall, my experience wasn't just another mattress store experience. I felt like we were treated with respect and Austin provided us a delightful customer experience.

Horrible Customer Service…read more My family and I have purchased thousands of dollars of furniture with this company and you would think they would be happy and quick to address any concerns we have. I purchased a King sized bed and when I took my bed home to put it together I noticed one of the slacks were shorter than the others and couldn't reach the hole on the other side of the bed. I called multiple times and it took them over 2 months to get me a replacement slack. When I picked up the new slack, it was the same as the slack that was too short. So I called back to get help and they are asking me to take pictures up close and far away of the slacks and email them as if I'm asking them for an entirely new bed. I'm asking for just 1 slack to be replaced and they are making me jump through hoops to get that. I will honestly say they have good prices on their furniture, but their service is terrible.

He yelled at me over the phone, told me that since I was unhappy about my delivery then he will refund me that charge ($50) and I can come pick up my mattresses myself. He hung up in my face. Later on that day I got a call from a different person that said he was bringing the mattresses. I received them almost a hour and a half after that. I'm happy with the mattresses thus far. I checked them upon arrival to ensure they were what I purchased. I was relieved that they decided to deliver the mattresses because after being yelled at by Andrew, I was afraid that I'd needed a male or even a police escort to be with me when I picked up my mattresses to ensure I wouldn't have any issues. I'm still speechless that a business owner would behave this way with a customer, a woman and a complete stranger. Completely out of line. My review stands as is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. This 1 star review is based on one person's rude and unprofessional manner. I purchased July 8th three mattresses. I needed delivery on July 21st. There is a lot of mishaps between the 21st until now on both ends. Samantha helped me once and she's was great and did her best to help. I missed her messages about delivery one night and I take responsibility for that occurrence. My work day & hours and their delivery days didn't line up for a few weeks since July 21st. Not upset about that. I communicated with different people and received conflicting information once or twice but still wasn't upset. It was annoying but not a deal breaker. I even upgraded my mattress and paid an additional $200...more of my money spent with them. I never had an issue with the owner. He's a cool guy but some of his staff needs to be schooled in customer service. After all of the delivery mishaps on both sides, customer and business, a delivery time was made for Saturday August 2nd between 2-4pm. I communicated that I'd be working that day but I could leave office for a hour in a half for lunch and meet them at my apartment so they could deliver my mattresses. I also told them that I couldn't do this after 5pm as it was too close to my clock out time of 7:15 pm. I was given a window between 2-4 with a 30 minute heads up. Prefect! I called Saturday August 3rd to confirm. I was told that the delivery driver the night before had an incident and couldn't make it in to work but that there was a sub called in that would help. I was suppose to get a call back to confirm those details between 12-1 PM but I never did. 5 PM came and went and as I told them, I could no longer leave the office until 7:15. I called at 5:29 PM to check in, no answer. They called back at 5:32 and I was busy...a mishap. At this point I'm frustrated yes but not upset. I called this morning a little before 11 am to see when the next delivery window was. A guy answered and at first he told me he couldn't see any information until he was in store. He said the store wouldn't open until noon. But he asked my name and that's when things went awry. He proceed to have an attitude with me, was very nasty in tone and proceeded to say he'd contacted me multiple times for delivery. I do not know who this individual is. It sounded as if he'd received complaints from other customers and decided to have a nasty attitude with me because of it. I was never rude to anyone, I never complained up until now, I didn't have an issue until now. To the owner, please teach your employees to have manners and to check their attitudes at the door. To call and receive that type of energy from that individual was insane considering I have not shown any aggression or frustration with anyone regarding my purchase. Life happened on both ends. I thought I was contributing to a small business in my neighborhood. I did not do so thinking I would be bullied over the phone over this purchase.
