The sales girl reached out and check with the manager on duty that day that if the store had some more options. And here's the reply that came to us from the supervisor/manager "I think she has shown you all / you have already tried the firmest mattresses options that we have. That would be the firmest that we have any if you want something firmer than that, then there is granite available in Home depot next door - we got you covered " Really, this is how you talk to your customer's ! Probably you don't know that yes there are mattress available which are Firm and not stone or granite ! Do you know Beauty rest has them ... If your store doesn't carries it you have no right to taunt the customer ! This is how you treat your potential customers ! Not at all acceptable . Horrible customer service ! I know people are into this whole bed in a box business, but honestly, take a drive over to these guys and lay on it before you pay on it. This is a low-pressure fair-priced furniture store. As a bonus, you get to pet the owner's dogs and help yourself to an adult beverage as you roam through their surprisingly large location. We have purchased and delivered a bedroom and living room set. Each purchase was more than fair, and the delivery and set-up were perfect. If you can't find something in-house they have an extensive catalog collection for you to pursue. So to summarize don't judge a book by its cover stop by and shop local!

My Mattress Firm Store (As in in the actual store)experience was great. My sales person Nicholas…read moreBerube was great. He was nice, polite, well-groomed, very knowledgeable and very patient. I would recommend him wholeheartedly. I researched the Tempurpedic mattress, power base and pillows I wanted and this store had all of those in stock. The only thing I did not like about my in-store experience was I was not able to choose my delivery time. I still cannot fathom why this is. This is critical information at the point of sale for buying a mattress. This was something apparently the sales personnel have no control over. We all lead busy lives. My delivery time was dictated to me the day after. I did have the option to call the delivery company back and reschedule. However, I was super busy that day so I didn't get around to it. I figured I would just hop to it at work and make the scheduled delivery work. On the day of my delivery ( and I will emphasize my only issue here was the delivery), I had to rush through work to get home in time to receive my order. Not fun. The delivery truck was about 20 minutes earlier than the e.t.a. I was given in the automated message letting me know they were on the way. Still within the delivery time frame, but earlier than expected. I had almost no time where I was at home before the delivery men arrived. I let my dogs outside, changed clothes and got the blankets off of the old bed. I did not have a lot of time to think and forgot to put my cat in my office while all of this was going on. I was rushed and didn't see him so it slipped my mind completely. The delivery men arrived and my cat went nuts. I couldn't corral him and lost sight of him. He was missing for the next five hours. The delivery men themselves were pretty courteous. They seemed to know what they were doing. However, it was raining that day and they tracked a lot of mud through my house. ALSO VERY NOT COOL. Plastic covers for shoes are very easy to get and these guys should have carried those. Instead they brought half my top soil from my front yard into my house. Now back to my cat. His name is Shadow and is an indoor only cat. He had gotten outside in all the chaos. I looked for him for a good 4 hours and 15 minutes after the delivery guys left before I found him. This was extraordinarily traumatic for me, my wife and my cat. This could have easily been avoided if I had just had a little control over the delivery time at the point of sale. I still don't understand why that didn't happen. I talked to C.J. who was a sales manager for Mattress Firm. He offered to let me make fliers off of the company copy machine. He even offered to come help me look for my cat after he got off work. I appreciate this. It came after he kinda laid the blame on me for this incident, but he did genuinely try to help. I will say again though: this could have been avoided if I had just had a little control over the delivery time at the point of sale. I still don't understand why that didn't happen. Suffice to say, because of the delivery experience, I will never buy anything from Mattress Firm again. I would not recommend them either.
