Today (January 10, 2025), the store contacted me saying they have footage of "me" picking up the merchandise, so they wouldn't be issuing any refunds. How can someone say for certain that I picked something up, and they don't even know what I look like? There's no request from my app, or my phone number, to pick up the item. I have Google Maps confirming that I was over 20 miles away on Black Friday. And yet, the store has "confirmed" that I have picked up my item from camera footage. What a joke.

They are definitely a for profit company and are a great alternative to going to the mall. Nevertheless the staff has no idea how to sell. I can't say enough good things about this store- passing by, it doesn't look like much, but the inside is SO CLEAN and gorgeous. Every t-shirt is perfectly folded, all shoes illuminated in displays, I just love it. Would definitely recommend. Best of all- the staff was SO HELPFUL. The manager answered my questions about the company (I'd never heard of it) and I ended up walking out with two pairs of shoes, totally hassle-free.

To my surprise, the shirt was originally $35.00 and there was literally no discount applied. For me, coming here was a waste of time as I could've went to a regular Dicks Sporting Good and saved the gas of traveling across the metroplex. Today, five years later, we just walked right in with no line and no assigned groups. My impression in 2025 was much better. The store was not too crowded so we were able to leisurely browse and really take in everything in the store. The selection is outstanding. if they don't have something related to camping or outdoor life, it does not exist. This trip the wife was looking for some shoes while the kid and I looked at everything else. She enjoyed checking out the tents and sleeping bags. She rode on one of the bikes. It was like a play day. I liked that there were employees to help and answer questions. Noah in the bike section was great. Employees were very friendly. The quality of the products they sell is excellent. Prices are high but you get value and what you buy is going to last a while. It's a great value that REI has the trade in program for the consumer in trading-in and the buyer of those items that are still in good shape.
