When you pull up to the venue, it looks like "Pinterest in real life!" Ronda & Darrell really have done a phenomenal job thinking of everything I didn't even know we would need. While we fell in love with the property, Ronda & Darrell are really what sold us; they are two humble, kind, and thoughtful owners. They do not nickel & dime couples, they are responsive, and they are flexible. I was able to use the venue for my bridal shoot for no additional cost. We booked Texas Star Ranch for a 4-day retreat towards the end of Dec 2016. The facility is…read morecomposed of buildings, sleeping spaces, conference spaces, barn, large open area with a trail, large pool, and fire pit, to name a few. It fit well with the needs of our retreat. The owner Lady B and site manager Landon worked very closely with us throughout the entire booking process, including working with our budget. We paid a small deposit to book the facility and the remaining balance upon arrival. Although there were a few hiccups, the site staff was very accommodating and flexible with our needs. It is noteworthy that if you are allergic to cats or dust (including sawdust), you may want to take extra precautionary measures; there are several friendly cats at the facility and the buildings have a rustic look and are made with wood. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

They apparently have a super…read morestrict 4 month refund policy, we contacted them a week too late (3 months and 3 weeks) to see if we could get a refund and no response. Contacted them 2 weeks later and they said we won't get a refund since we were within the 4 months, which ok that's cool policy is policy I suppose, but no one in this country planned for this. Responding to us right away would've been pretty neat and these people will never see a dime of my money, especially once this is all over with. I'll for sure spend more money to with someone more professional and wouldn't recommend these people to anyone with my experience.
