This a wonderful place with good staff but the price for paint is just unreal. 90$ for a case is way too much

For my birthday I decided to go play paintball for the first time outside of the one time I played with my best friend in his cousins back yard when we were kids. We found a Groupon for $29 that included entry for 2 people, gun, mask, and 250 pellets. Man did we get our money's worth! I thought we would be there like 30min, play 2 rounds and we would be out of ammo and CO2. NOPE. We got there around noon. Didn't leave until 5:30, only bought 350 more pellets between our 6 person party and played nearly every arena in their 40acre setup. The family group we started with left before us and offered us their remaining ammo and they offer free CO2 refills. We took an hour break or so to wait on more of our friends and to rest. So really we played about 4hrs. It was great, and even without the Groupon deal I feel it would be worth it. Only 1 other person in our group had experience and we all had a blast, guys and gals. Must try place. P.S. we didn't know, but you can bring food and drink for refreshments between rounds. There's a Pavillion for you to hang out at. read more

I have now gone paintballing twice for team building activities with work and both times at Texas Paintball. It was awesome! They have a wide variety of playing fields and games, and the staff is very friendly and helpful for all levels of paintballers. I have gone two times in my life, so I am by no means an expert, but I think anyone would enjoy their time at Texas Paintball. It is a little hard to find, kind of tucked away off of 1431 in Jonestown, but once you find it, you are in for a good time! They also have groupons throughout the year so you can get a solid discount as well. read more

Great place for paintball, not a lot of courses but really fun.

Took 6 teenagers and they had a great time! The staff were great. With 10 different terrain options, there was always a new adventure. They have lots of shaded picnic tables. Love Texas Paintball! I've been 3 times with kids and I play each time. The fields are awesome with the 2 story buildings and trenches and wwII area. I highly recommend for all ages. Rental equipment is in good shape. The staff is very helpful and fair. If you go, request Logan as your referee. He's awesome!! read more

So today 9/9/18 my kiddo had a birthday party scheduled. Total rain out! However when we came early to double check we had the best experience! Cancelled party due to rain. Shout out to Jeremy H, he helped with some gear our kid could benefit from and above all said"since it's the ur birthday do wanna shoot once to try out your new gun? You can borrow a mask and I can show you" Kid swooning in like hell yea. It was ok! Party rescheduled and Jeremy went above and beyond in customer service. We were helped above and beyond and then educated. I come from high end retail and would hire him in a minute if suited. read more

If you're in texas, you need to come visit Texas paintball. As an airsofter, I highly recommend coming on Airsoft Sunday or attending an event. Really awesome refs and the maps are very well done and a lot of fun. I could go on and on, but really you'll have to experience it yourself. Great job TXPB! read more

Texas paintball is a great place. I have been going out there for the past ten years. Recently I have been taking my ten year old son. He loves it. They are always improving the playing fields, the staff are very helpful and friendly. We had problems with are paint markers ( which are old) they fixed them at no charge. TXPB has an amazing variety of well thought out and well constructed playing fields. The pavilions are comfortable and the shop well stocked. The staff that we interacted with were very professional and friendly. I don't write a lot of reviews or bother with ratings but I had such a good experience i was motivated to do both. read more

This is the best paintball place in town for experts or first timers. I went there 3 years ago and have never gone anywhere else since. I have just got a gun and their pro shop will fix it and any of my gear, gladly. Although the prices are a little high that is the only down side read more

This place is so neat! It was so much fun! I took my husband here as a Valentine's gift. Now the only reason it lost a star for me was because they did horrible at explaining and directing anyone new. I had no idea how to play or where to go and had to ask someone to help us. Even then they did it in a hurry and I mostly had to just figure it out on my own. Amongst trying to figure it out....it's hard to tell who is on what team. I ended up shooting my own team member because his arm band was velcroed to the back of his helmet instead of his arm. Other than that this place is super cool. Wide range of age in players, multiple "maps" to play on, and the workers keep it a fair game. My top tip for anyone new........close your mouth when you play. First hit was straight to the head and into my mouth. It does not taste good. read more

By far the best paintball field I've ever been too! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They have a ton of courses with a lot of variety and amazing props including a helicopter, cities, trenches and water features! Very safe and friendly environment with ample shade and picnic tables to relax between games. They have a repair shop on site so your never stuck with broken equipment. Not the cheapest paintball field but by far the best value for your money! read more

We had fun while we are there, but many of us ended up with really bad poison ivy/sumac rashes. They really need to work on inspecting and clearing the grounds. Otherwise, this rash is really not worth the fun. read more

We've been here for 3 birthday parties now - one for my husbands 40th, and my 12 yo daughter loved it so much she had her party here too! And believe it or not, those girls had a blast! So much so that one of them had their own birthday party here a month later too! I love that kids are out in nature engaging instead of being glued to their electronics and hanging out inside. The staff is super friendly. The grounds and pball fields are the best around. And the pulled pork from their food truck is pretty amazing too! read more

This place is amazing. I've been here about 5 times in the last 3 months because it is so fun! I've been recently looking for some custom paintball gear and I have emailed them many questions about what they have and the price. On business hours they answer back in about 10 minutes and always satisfy my questions. Their refs are great, easy to get along with and I've played with most of them myself. There are so many different courses as well. From woodsball to speedball, you name it. All their courses are strategically designed and function almost perfectly. We come here every year for my teenage son's birthday. We have visited all the paintball venues in central Texas and my son and his friends prefer this one. They have a lot of fields, computer check in that moves very fast, picnic area, tons of shade and lots of workers on site to help you with whatever you may need. It's not far from Lakeline mall, so I can drop off the kids, go shopping and then bring back lunch (yes you can be a hero too). I'm sure we will continue to come here every year. I would love to see them on groupon or living social again as when you bring a large group of kids it can get expensive quick. read more

"We played paintball for my grandson's 9th birthday party. It was about 15 boys and 8 or 9 dad's. Everyone had a blast. The equipment was in good condition and worked as we were told. Nice safety briefing before the event and I liked that we had a staff person with us at all times to make sure everything was OK. Having one of the owners on site was also a plus. The park had several different layouts/fields to try so we saw a lot of variety. Each game goes quickly so we played a several different fields. The boys had a blast and I think the dad's might have had the most fun acting like kids again. Everyone commented that they wanted to come back and play again soon." read more

I went yesterday with about 10 friends for an adult birthday partay. Overall, we had a great time. The game coordinators are young guys, but they do a good job of explaining the rules and enforcing them. The fields/games were fun and I liked that we mixed it up. We bought the $40 package with 500 rounds and made it last 3 hours (a couple of us shot WAY less than everyone else so we ended up sharing our paintballs with others in our group who had run out). Up until the last hour, we were playing with about 10 super experienced players. We had fun, but it was A LOT more fun when they split them off into their own group. I was no longer hiding for my life (haha, a slight exaggeration). It had rained all day the day before so I'm sure they weren't as busy as they normally were, so maybe that had something to do with putting super experienced players with beginners. I don't know, but that's really the only area of improvement I suggest. We hope to make it back again later this year with more friends so we can have a private party experience. The paintballs did hurt, so if I go again I will bring extra protection (like chest padding, maybe something to cover my ears). But most people didn't mind the pain, just hope you don't get hit in the wrong place (where the sun don't shine, on the forehead, etc). We enjoyed the covered picnic tables and the grill (bring your charcoal and lighter fluid). When it got dark, the lights turned on so we could keep celebrating. There was also a BBQ food truck which was tasty and great for the people who were hungry but didn't bring stuff to grill. We hung out after our session and grilled and ate cake. TX Paintball is a great facility with great employees and ownership. Dave, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable about his and your gear. He can fix any marker, hopper and etc... you may have problems with, which he has done for me on several instances. His staff is very friendly with a some great technicians amoung them that can also help repair your gear. In this industry, the quote "you get what you pay for" is very true as you hear people moan and groan about pricing. Well, let me tell you, I've played at a lot of fields in Texas and there are a lot of facilities that claim they are cheap and you can bring your own paint, but the key word is, cheap like their facilities. Other facilities that do charge you and don't allow outside paint is because they have to maintain the facility and quality staff, so the reality of it all is, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". Lets be honest folks, whenever I go to TX Paintball, I always see a minimum of 40 players to as many as 300 players at any given session. Now based on my experiences, 40 players at any other field would be overwhelming for the staff and the facility, which means more cheaters, more rules violations and more dangerous as a limited staff cannot keep up with that many people. TX Paintball does not have that problem as they have provened time after time by safely ensuring the 40 to 300 players get their money's worth in fun, safety and fair play. They have the gear to support these 300 players, they have the facility to support them and they have the staff to support each and every one of these players. So, ask yourself this question folks, would you rather play at a place where you know you're going to have fun, safely and fairly with 10 plus fields to play on or do you want to play where it's cheap and only have 2 to 3 fields to play on with minimum staff and minimum participants. Excellent paintball facility. Huge property. My son enjoys the air-ball field but I enjoy the outdoor fields that are within the overall wooded environment. These fields include buildings you can enter, trenches, vehicles that provide cover, and there are a variety of fields and objectives. Some fields are quite large and spread the fighting around while others focus the action in a smaller area due to the objective. The rental guns function relatively well but of course there are kids and adults that buy the more rapid fire compressed air guns so facing them can be a challenge. The staff sometimes tries to separate large parties of rentals from the better equipped players which is good, unless you like that challenge (there are occasions when some groups are mixed) which is fine, it is still very fun. There are some on staff who appear very good at fixing gun (marker) problems. And the refs do a good job. Although I would like to see better player team identification, the single small arm bands are not visible enough. Some tape them to the back of their mask behind their head but I would encourage a double arm band system or a much wider (longer) single one. Friendly fire occurs on the maps where a single frontline does not generally develop. read more
