I had an injury that was caused working for a county near Washington DC. I had to have the surgery in Maryland but the insurance company was able to request my physical therapy be done in our new home town, Liberty Hill, TX. I reached out to Texas Physical Therapy. I received a call back within 24 hours. They were awesome. Laura Midura was always prompt, professional and pleasant. The office staff and general environment was so fun and encouraging. I have so many good things (no, GREAT things!) to say that I fear I will run out of room. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have been a patient at Texas Physical Therapy (but I will try!). Coming here was probably the best thing that I could do for myself after my bicycle accident. I don't think it's a stretch to say that this is the best physical therapy office on the face of the earth! My dentist sent me here after he fixed the teeth I broke in my fall, and after it became clear that my jaw needed some work (and you can see my glowing review for Liberty Hill Dental if you are looking for the best dentist on the face of the earth). Even months after the accident, I still wasn't able to open my mouth very wide (not able to eat a fat cheeseburger, for instance), I also had lots of popping in my jaw, and eventually I noticed that my bite was seriously misaligned, To the point where I was waking up with my bottom teeth jutting in front of my top teeth. Even though I live in Georgetown and there is a Texas Physical Therapy branch in Georgetown a mere block away from my home, I went to the office in Liberty Hill because my dentist recommended it, and Dr. Ben Menke, so so highly. And I can totally see why he did. First of all, everyone is so incredibly kind. Terry was lovely (patient, warm, helpful) with me on the phone, and also each and every time I was in the office as well. Kate is so attentive and careful and knowledgeable regarding all the exercises that need to be done. I always appreciated her enthusiasm. And Dr. Ben Menke is exceptional as well... just as my dentist Dr. Gillespie said he would be. Dr. Ben is incredibly patient, kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and attentive. You don't often feel like someone in the medical field is listening to you with that kind of depth and focus. It is just so rare and refreshing nowadays. In a world where so much feels cookie-cutter, it's amazing to get this kind of personalized experience at a medical facility. Wow! I couldn't be more impressed with the way Dr. Ben transforms his knowledge and thoughtfulness into effective, personalized treatment! Not only was Dr. Ben able to help me with my physical jaw problems, but he also empowered me with exercises I can do at home, both on a regular maintenance schedule, and others for when I am feeling misaligned/stiff. He is both gentle and appropriately challenging, which for me is the best combination. I wouldn't want to see a doctor who thinks I have already gotten as far as I can go. Hope is important to me, and Dr. Ben offered me so much hope, while being realistic at the same time. That's a win-win for me! I felt more empowered and hopeful about my situation, and I learned so much about my injury, my body, and what a healthy relationship with pain looks like. I know I'll use what I've learned from Dr. Ben my whole life. Before I began treatment, Terry was kind enough to do the legwork to see if my insurance would pick up the bill, although I suspected it wouldn't (unfortunately, I am finding out the hard way after this accident that my insurance isn't widely accepted). But it didn't matter to me: I knew I wanted to come here, and each time I had an appointment the wisdom of that decision was underscored for me. Being a patient here has been a pivotal part of my healing journey, and on top of that, I have been so moved by the kindness of the staff. I can't imagine healing any place else! And when/if I ever find myself needing physical therapy down the road, for whatever reason, you can better believe I will happily and enthusiastically end up here! My neurologist, Dr. Tallman, prescribed physical therapy to relieve my migraines and help my neck. Following Dr. T's orders, I signed up. My physical therapist is Dr. Ben, and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave, you experience nothing but care. Everyone is helpful. I felt encouraged and supported. During my first visit, Dr. Ben spent time talking to me about my condition and a program approach he felt would help me. His demeanor is professional and respectful. I also like his sense of humor, and he wears bow ties! He was looking pretty dapper the last time I saw him. He's very knowledgeable and patient. It' not often when you need physical therapy, but when you do, there is nothing more important. And getting the RIGHT THERAPIST is just as important. I feel blessed that I was referred to Dr Ben Menke at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists in Liberty Hill. I don't even live in Liberty Hill, but they were so highly recommended I felt it was worth my drive to at least check them out. And lucky me! And lucky you if you choose them too. The minute I walked in the door I knew I was in the right place. I was immediately welcomed and felt at ease. They answered all my questions no matter what they were, and all the other patients were smiling as they were going through their different therapies. I felt right at home. I know if it had not been for Dr Ben Menke and his incredible team to help me through this, I would not have done nearly as well. Dr. Ben Menke, Dr. David Bush, and all the staff actually LISTEN to you closely. Everyone is different in their needs, so they tailor your therapy to the individual. I have enjoyed going Physical Therapy with Jan and Carrie and their staff! They are a fun bunch and know their stuff. They give personal attention and are very professional. Carrie taught me the correct form for the exercises - it is critically important to work the right muscles. An inch or two leaning the wrong way can exercise the wrong muscles. I am much stronger and more flexible. This has been the best experience ever! read more

Dr. Ben & Staff are GREAT! I took my 14-yr old in bc he was having problems w/his hip. It's a problem he's had off & on for two years. His hip was clicking w/every step he took & he had limited range of motion. I'm amazed at how quickly Dr. Ben was able to get my kiddo pain-free & moving well. I'm very happy w/the level of service that the doctors & staff at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists provided my child. Ben and Anna are such a pleasure to work with! My shoulder was hurting and my range of motion was limited but with their help we were able to pinpoint exactly where my pain was and focus on the exact area that was giving me fits with dry needling.
