Service is everything and honestly when we walked in the door excited to try this place, we were met with two ladies who seemed bothered by our presence. Never gave a single smile or welcome. Honestly you could tell they couldn't wait for us to leave. Not only were they rude but wanted to charge $3 for a small water bottle. The prices were a little high. But honestly speaking the pie did have a nice taste but definitely not close to fresh. Honestly had a sad experience. The inside was decorated cute however and they had a nice dining room. But never felt so unwelcomed from a place who depends on our business. Wouldn't recommend and from what I hear this is a common treatment of customers.

The pie was decent. However, the service was absolutely terrible. I almost left because of the attitude I was receiving from the girls that were working there. They were blunt in every question I asked and didn't even greet us when they came in just sat on their phone while we took five minutes to figure out what we want to order. I could tell they also really didn't want us to sit down.

Been wanting to try this place out since I discovered it. But wanted to save it for when out of town guests come. However, I recently caved in and tried it! My grandmother loved cherry pie and I have fond memories of making it. The anniversary of her passing came and I decided I wanted to make something she loved to honor her. Well I had no cake or pie ingredients to bake with but as I was thinking about what I could make in honor of her I was starting to drive toward the pie place. And I thought: how about I see if they have a cherry pie! And they did! So I bought a mini pie. Just big enough for me. Which was nice that they had small portions if you didn't want to have a huge pie. They had many flavors and I was surprised to see they also sold food like sandwiches and salads and some breakfast items like quiche. Would love to bring my family here for sure when they visit. The best part was is that the pie wasn't too sweet at all which I actually liked! I eat very healthy so when I splurge I sometimes still don't want it to be too sweet and this wasn't. It was perfect balance of sweetness from the filling and savory from the crust. So no sugar coma when you come here! At least not with the cherry pie;)

    Where is the tomato ?

The worst service by the heavy set short haired girl, and another skinny one. Messed up my order, no sorry and no nothing. She blamed me about not being clear. Also don t order a BLT, no lettuce and no tomato, should be called " BB " burnt bacon sandwich.

One of the few small businesses in the Kyle downtown area and they definitely have good staying power. We came towards closing and the staff were still super welcoming and friendly (not pushy about closing or rushing us out). They have a lot of classic pie options from cherry, apple, pecan, and various mixes of fruits or some cream pies. Its not a spot for any like "modern" or avant garde flavor combos but sometimes you just want a classic pie. I like that they have individual sized pies so we were able to try multiple. My favorite was the pecan (in general my favorite pie so take that info together), I thought it was a very great classic pecan pie with a touch of cinnamon? which worked very well. The other pies we tried were ok, the fillings all tasted good but felt a bit on the dry side (strawberry rhubarb, peach, and cherry). I'm not sure if its cause the individual sizes make the crust/crumble to filling ratio a bit off? Regardless, I still think they're good just nothing amazing. The service and staff really won me over though! They even gave us a free chicken pot pie as a welcome and to let us know they have chicken pot pies on Saturdays. The chicken pot pie was fantastic and I would definitely recommend that for anyone who happens to be in town on Saturdays (then stay for dino ribs next door on Sunday!)

We stopped by and enjoyed some amazing pies here! My favorites were the lemon & almond joy pies. Hubs loved the Dutch apple pie. Bro in law enjoyed the chocolate silk. The staff was pleasant and patient! There are so many choices it's hard to decide which ones to try.

I really enjoyed my strawberry rhubarb pie! It's was good and I like the crust. My boyfriend liked the pumpkin but he said he would try something else if he went again because it wasn't the best he has ever had.

We visited on Saturday for their daily special, which was chicken pot pie with a salad, dinner roll and tea. I loved it so much I even bought a pot pie to go. We also got a peach crumble pie and the almond joy pie (chocolate and coconut). Wow is all I can say. I will be back. The employee at the counter was also very nice and had good recommendations.

Very friendly when I walked in. Nice selection of all the pies . I did not know that this place did more than just pies . So we will save the food for another visit. I am a pecan pie lover , so after looking I decided on chocolate fudge pecan pie the large size ..and man it's so good almost reminds me of mixing a brownie w a pecan pie .. so far half the pie is gone and I just got it. Will be back for more pie.

Very home-y vibe at the restaurant. As the sign indicates- the pies, sweet or savory, are all unbelievable.

Best coconut cream pie I ever had! Got a few other flavors to try, but if they are half as good as the coconut cream - it will be amazing!

We came midday (around 2) and there was still a decent amount of pastries left. They were a little on the pricey side from the last time I visited...and TeaNergy that was across the highway now shares a business space with them, but ran by one person behind the counter for both. It's very strange. While abuelita's items were mostly priced (I had to ask about the multi pack I wanted since it was not labeled and didn't have signage) - TeaNergy on the other hand, ZERO pricing and no info on how much caffeine was in each size. I went on the TeaNergy website using the provided QR code and there's no info on caffeine amounts, which seems a little dangerous. While I don't so much favor the TeaNergy lack of info, Abuelita's pastries are what made me stop here. If I'm in Kyle again, I'd for sure make a stop here for the pastries, maybe not the tea tho.
