Honestly the food isn't bad. I just really don't like this type of food. Why come here? My dad is crazy about their bacon cheeseburgers and the complimentary bread, but mostly for the bread. I've gotten so tired of the food because we are here so much. I feel bad for every waiter and waitress we get here because my face always looks like I'm miserable. But, service is never lacking. Wow - this place was packed on a Saturday evening! I called in ahead and got my name on the list before leaving my house so I didn't have to wait long. When I called there was no wait time but upon arrival there was a huge crowd waiting. Calling ahead is so worth it just in case! There is nothing worse than waiting for a table when you're hungry. We got a booth and quickly ordered. Food came out pretty fast. We started with the bloomin' onion appetizer which was delicious. We both ordered steak with my husband getting prime rib and me getting bone in ribeye. We snacked on the bread with the cinnamon butter which was pretty good. My husband's rib eye was delicious!! It was so good I kept sneaking bites. It didn't come out cooked how we asked but it tasted good still so we didn't say anything. My bone-in ribeye was not great, very chewy and the black marks outside had a very strong taste. Our waitress was awesome and switched it out for the same thing my husband had. We had a late flight and this was close to the hotel and open. We did not have a reservation but were quickly seated. Many take out orders. Waitress was super friendly and service was great even with a very full restaurant. Blooming onion was delicious, but then when is anything deep fried ever not yummy? Rolls were warm and buttery. Definitely deserve 5 star!!! Prime rib medium rare - tender soft juicy!!! My 4 year old daughter kept begging me cut for her prime rib. Even she devoured a huge chunk of the prime rib. The bone in rib eye medium rare also well seasoned and cooked. I haven't had decent steak for a long time.. The cinnamon roll oh my god you should try it yourself!! During Covid Texas Roadhouse stopped offering peanuts and won't give you the bottle of country Bobs steak sauce. Now the bring you a very small condiment container of it. What a great experience on Father's Day. I checked in online and it said 25-30 minutes. We got there about 5 minutes early and checked in. Within five minutes we were seated. There had to be at least 40-50 people waiting. Abbey was our waitress with only 3 days of experience. She was phenomenal! She was attentive with a wonderful upbeat personality. Several times we sit down only having to move because the bench seats are so worn there's big dips in the seat and coils poking you; t's so uncomfortable we can't find a spot to sit in. Please get new seats! Also the 6 oz sirloins have to be returned often because one manager told us they cut them off the end and they get rubbery. So we often get a tough piece. First time we have been to A Texas Roadhouse and had a very poor experience. My wife's steak way over cooked, she sent it back which ok that happens sometimes cooks are new or whatever. But then it took forever to get it back and when it did it was still overcooked. Then my wife asked for a to go box for the steak, had to ask 3 times to get it, daughter asked for A1 and didn't get it, asked for more rolls didn't get it. I mean yeah they are small things but they all just added up. It could have been a manager issue, waitress issue, definitely a cook issue we know. I just expect better from Texas Roadhouse. Not even going to bring up the mask wearing, that's another issue in itself. Probably due to the restaurant being in Bloomington and local government. This is the 5th time we have purchased Texas Roadhouse and not received what we asked for. Each time, we ask for extra gravy on the order for the mashed potatoes. They are reminded that we didn't get it on the last order. We are then assured that it won't happen again. That the order will be correct this time... That being said, it is never on it. We end up with two sides that do not have gravy on it. Now, after a 10 1/2 hour work day, I am making gravy for our order. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, we cannot check the order inside the store and it is difficult to check the orders in the car. Therefore we are finding out once we get home. This is just unacceptable. All orders should be triple checked before going out. read more

Always a place to go with friends if you want some authentic steak from Texas LOL The lines are absolutely line in weekends during dinner time, and the average wait time is about 30-40 minutes, plus the time waiting for the food for about 15-20 min, but food was worth the long waiting time. read more

The food is typically good. We have had our share of good servers, but we also have had a number of bad ones here as well. If you want prime rib, make sure you go before 6pm otherwise they are always "out". I still don't understand why they don't up the amount that they make daily since they run out so much. read more

This used to be such a good restaurant. They changed owners and it has gone down hill. I know we are in a pandemic but if you can't do the job right don't keep your restaurant open. Maybe cut hours until you can provide a better customer experience. The last 3 times we ate there nothing was right. The steaks are either over cooked or under cooked. If they are under cooked they take the steak back and leave you with your sides. They will bring it back 29min later and by that time the sides are ice cold. You have to ask over and over for A1 or extra rolls. To top it off the Manager Miles could care less he was so callous when listening to what was going on. He is either overwhelmed with the amount of complaints or really does not give a crap about the customer experience. We have spent about $168 on these 3 meals for a nice night out NEVER AGAIN will we eat here. By the way the last time we went we waited for an hour when they were not busy because they did not have enough waiters scheduled. It's so sad because we used to eat here a couple of times a week. read more

We love Texas Roadhouse but man this location was awful We sat down and waited for our waitress for awhile, then waited for our drinks for awhile, then kept waiting on our salads. I realized our waitress was sitting at a booth with her friends so I complained. I thought well at least the food will be good and unfortunately that was not the case. Our Caesar dressing was watered down and our gravy was watered down as well. My daughter said she didn't like her mac and cheese. Well that's because it was watered down with no flavor to the sauce. All I really have to say is: AWE. The atmosphere and waiters were amazing. It was clean, the decor was lovely, I liked that. The bread with honey cinnamon butter was absolutely amazing. The blooming onion was delicious, especially when dipped in the sauce. The only thing that wasn't cool were the entrées. It was flavorless and kinda made my stomach turn. Must admit on our latest visit to our go-to steak restaurant I was a little disappointed. We were not asked if we'd mind sitting in the bar, but the hostess tried to seat us there anyway. We asked for another area and she obliged, although they apparently forgot to inform the waitress because we sat for about ten minutes while people that were seated after us met with their waitresses and were served drinks and bread. When our waitress did finally arrive, she apologized for the extended wait. Both of us ordered a 10oz ribeye, baked potato and salad (one Caesar and one house). Potatoes and salads were fine, and my husband's "medium" steak was prepared slightly undercooked, which is what he wanted. Apparently the chef had a difficult time with my request, as "well" was translated to burnt. I didn't want to wait for a re-order so I ate around the burnt areas. I know meat prepared "well" is not easy to prepare, but in all my years of ordering steak in this manner, it's the first time ever that I've been served charred meat. We will go back because any restaurant can have a bad night, but I hope this isn't a new pattern. If so, we'll be looking for a new go-to for steak night. 4 stars for now, based on tonight's mediumship steak and past experiences. First things first--I have no idea how anyone could say this place is better than Janko's Little Zagreb OR LongHorn OR Outback. Absolutely not. The bread is tasty here (though a bit doughy for my taste) and they do serve peanuts at the table--for what reason, I don't know, but I realize many people like that aspect. I recommend the 16 oz margaritas for $3 on Mondays, which are a great little deal. On our visit to this location, the service was just OK and the food was pretty good. I ordered the Portabello Mushroom Chicken, which was very tasty. Their selection of sides didn't appeal greatly to me, but I ordered their House Salad and steak fries. The house salad was decent, nothing special. My partner ordered the ribeye, and thought it was also reasonable, not good or bad, and that both the steak at LongHorn or Outback and baked potato at Outback is much, much better. However, our first impression and our table service was less than spectacular--they attempted to seat the two of us at a huge table for 8 in the middle of a busy room, then told us we could sit in the bar, and seemed all around scattered and inconsiderate when greeting us. It wasn't that busy, and they should have been bussing tables rather than just being rude to guests. I could go on, but enough complaining. All that being said, this restaurant deserves 3 stars for being a decent experience for a chain restaurant in Btown. read more

This has been one of our favorites however tonite things were off. Food was fair at best. There was a person visibly intoxicated at the bar, sleeping with his head on the bar and most of the patrons sitting around the bar, myself and eight other people made comments to the bartender yet it took a few times until action was taken. I'm from MS. I go to Texas at least twice a week. This by far was the worse experience I have ever had. The atmosphere was good. We were seated promptly and our drink order was gotten in a timely manner. The food, however, is horrible. I ordered a bone in rib-eye medium well with salad and loaded mash potatoes. The first steak came out extremely over cooked and dry. The mash potatoes didn't have any butter or sour cream. I ask for it to be redone - told yes with no problem. The other one came out over charred. I could smell the char before i even tasted it. I didn't take one bite. I put it in a to go box and left. I won't be back. read more

People go to chains since they know they can usually get consistent service and food. Judging by my visit and the other reviews, this place is anything but! The food was not very good, but the service was. It was a packed Sunday lunch rush for the after church crowd plus football fans. I sat at the bar. The bartender was responsible for tending bar and for handling the tables in the bar area. He was slammed, and I only know because he kept telling me! He was very nice and helpful and introduced himself. I wish I could give a better rating, but the food keeps my review at 2 stars. I got the fried pickles appetizer first. These were probably the worst pickles I've ever had. They were cut too thin and barely tasted like anything. If I closed my eyes, I would only have known I was eating something fried. Next I tried the grilled chicken salad. It was decent. The best part really was the chicken. It was nice and warm and fresh off the grill. Can they make the grilled chicken an entree? That would help! The drinks - just no. I ordered their famous margarita which is normally very tasty other times I've had it. I didn't watch the bartender make it, but it tasted mostly like sweet and sour mix. After that, I opted for one of the local craft beers they had on tap (Ruby Bloom). It was fine. They were out of Angry Orchard, and the bartender had a hard time telling the server what to recommend in its place for one of her tables. I was disappointed in this visit to Texas Roadhouse. I don't know if I'll ever be back to this location (don't live in the area), but I really hope I was there on an off day. read more

This steakhouse offers acceptable food fare with reasonable prices. The service was acceptable as well. The rolls are always fresh, hot and good. The salads are ample and tasty too; noting that their honey mustard dressing is quite good. Our party of 3 had - steak w/ baked potato, wings and the portabella chicken. All were pretty good. An extra highlight to the meal was the mushroom sauce they made with the chicken. It was very savory, and the chicken breast was very tender and flavorful as well. We came away satisfied. Initially, I was pleased because we were seated immediately and our server was quick to take our order. However, it was all downhill from there. My boyfriend and I both ordered our steaks medium, but he received a well done steak and I received a rare steak. Last night I had one of the best bone in rib eye steaks, I every had anywhere. But sometime in the past I get a tough bone in rib eye steak. It seem to depend on the day and the cook on duty. BUT I just found out that, if you order a bone in rib eye, you can pick your own steak out of the many in the case as you come in the door. This option I believe is what made last night dinner so great. I choose a well marbled, straight boned, steak, that was both tender and juicy. At this restaurant, you get a good meal, at a fair price. Sometimes you get a great steak and sometimes you get a so, so steak. But it's the best steak except Janko's in town. I hate the loud music they play, but the staff if friendly and there is lots of parking. read more
