We came to Laredo to visit family for a week and after trying other establishments in the area, the food wasn't good, service was extremely slow and customer service was just ok. So decided to go to Texas Roadhouse and it was the best decision I've made since I was on my visit. Jonathon the manager and Ashley the bartender delivered some excellent customer service!! Great food and had an absolute great time that I came back the next night. Jonathon was working the second night with a different bartender named Claudia who delivered some great and outstanding customer service! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with outstanding customer service and food. They have just one table for 12 and we were waiting like 40 minutes until we decided to go to Taco Palenque next to then. We came back a few days later are were able to have dinner around 8pm on a weekday.k...The rest of the tables are for 4-6. People. It has a bar that we didn't use because we ate in a regular table. The food wasn't that espectacular, fries were not fresh. The margarita was good i would back to try the sweet potato. read more

I'm traveling on business in Texas and thought to myself "what better place to get a steak than a Texas Roadhouse?.. IN TEXAS"? I was pretty excited after I ordered a 10 oz. steak, but when it arrived...it wasn't what I had pictured. There was so much fat on that cut that I felt I had a 5 oz. instead. Complaining about it isn't my style, but I felt it necessary for everyone else to know what to expect. Don't get me wrong, their service is great. The steak was just disappointing. We always enjoy our food when we come here the salad never disappoints! I am the kind of customer that does not like to complain or return food. I hate to have to do that....BUT I felt like the last time I went I had to since I had ordered my critter salad with HOT critters so I just asked if they could be tossed in the hot sauce which I thought wouldn't be a problem but the waitress's eyes said differently. We got nothing but rude attitude and rolling eyes our entire stay there... it was so bad that I didn't even feel comfortable sending my critters back to get tossed so I just asked for a dude of sauce. I actually rather enjoy "Covid Dining" - NOT crowded. Super attentive server. Brought fresh round of tea and water without asking nor running out. Checked in twice. It's a steakhouse, peanuts while you wait, line dancing by the waitstaff and food that's just ok. It was busy and service was great but the food wasn't anything special. To be honest this was my first time there since they opened. It used to Outback and I wish they stayed Outback. Very easily the best steak I've had in Laredo. Cooked to perfection-Medium Rare. The grilled pork chop was the best I've ever had, Ever! So tender and juicy. Neither meat needed any sauce added, rich in flavor just as it came out! The sides were delicious and not your run of the mill sides, but full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. In all honesty I have never given a restaurant a review before. So what made me do it this time well, this place "Texas Roadhouse." The food, atmosphere and most importantly the service. It was all in their terms "legendary." The 6oz Ribeye I had ordered came out perfect and the staff were so friendly checking on me and my family if everything was great. The rolls are so good I want them stapled to my body daily, but society looks down on that. This was a fair experience. I had the ribs and they were overdone a bit. I've had better Texas Roadhouse steaks than what I've experienced in South Texas which is unfortunate as food is better in South Texas. Ordered the little kid steak, I think it was the Herbert/Herman steak and it was Fantastic. OMG, perfectly cooked. They mixed up my potato so I ended up getting both a sweet potato and full-dressed massed. Great service. Awesome atmosphere. I really like the theme of the restaurant and the friendly staff, food has been good every time I've been here, they are very consistent on their quality. The only complaint would be the waiters, their service is not consistent, some visits I have a very attentive waiter always paying attention to our drinks and other times I get a waiter I have to constantly be calling for service. read more

We came in at 10pm on Friday and although the place was packed, we still felt rushed out (the server, who did the best she could and was very fun, even said the kitchen is trying to leave). Our salad came with our dinner, not before, and our check came before even being offered another drink or dessert. My steak was cooked perfect but the veggies on the side were completely raw. They tried. Walked in and it was crazy up front with to go orders. But manager greeted me and was very friendly. Promptly sat at a table and had to wait a bit to order my drink. Went with tater skins to start. When they came they were, well burnt. They ended up taking them off the bill (which I appreciated) but now I have to find somewhere else for dinner. I know poor me. Lots of choices in Laredo and I am here ALOT for work. But I don't think I will be trying this place again. They were friendly enough but should know not to bring out burnt skins. If you tell me BEFORE I can say anything; that you took them off because they didn't look very appetizing- maybe you shouldn't have brought them in the first place. Just saying. First resturaunt I have been to since moving to Laredo, and I was pleased! They provided a special seat for my daughter's carseat (never seen this before) and got our drinks and order quickly. The staff were super fun and even did a line dance.. which I have also never seen before. My husband loved his steak, and I absolutely loved the salmon that I ordered. The boneless buffalo wings were just buffalo 'nuggets', my rare steak was cooked medium to medium well and the sautéed mushrooms tasted like they were cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in a while. The servers and managers were great and got me a new steak that was more Pittsburgh style than rare, but hey, it's better than them over cooking it. The service got them the two stars, the food kept them from getting anything higher. Tonight's visit reminded me why I prefer Logan's Roadhouse over Texas Roadhouse - better food. read more
