This spot is always busy. I suggest adding your name to the "waitlist" online. It gives you an idea of how long the wait is. Every time I do this, I don't wait longer than 5 mins. In regard to the food, you can't go wrong with their steaks. It is always cooked to my preference. We try not to fill up on the bread and cinnamon butter but how can you not? Ordered BBQ Rib dinner, full slab dinner. Ordered extra rolls and cinnamon butter. When we picked up, they refused extra rolls and butter, even with offer to pay. She said if we didn't put on order, we cant have. It was on order. Ribs were dry. Threw away most. Baked potato rubbery and overrated. Only thing good was bread. So $30 for 2 rolls and butter?? Called and receptionist was very rude. VERY RUDE. Talked to supervisor. That was like talking to v the wall. Blah blah blah..she couldn't care less. Asked her who was chain of command above her. You can never argue about the food and the value of it since both are great, but trying to bring a group larger than 7 is a big problem. Since they don't open until after 3 and no reservations, you have to get on the call ahead waiting list. They force you to use their app or website but for parties over 7 have to call the restaurant. I waited on hold before I had to hang up to go into a store. I got there an hour before to get on waiting list and told it would be at least 2 hour wait. So I broke up my group of 15 into 2 groups. When we did get setted we were no where near each other. Other places with a no reservations policy does let you call the day before if you have a large group. Our service was top notch even with the place packed, which made it a little too loud. Even brought a refills of pop when she brought the table the drinks. The steak was perfect and even the next day reheating. The rolls were their addictive as usual. My loaded baked sweet potato was worth the calories. Service has fallen off a cliff at this location. Server had an attitude and couldn't understand half what he was saying. Only ask how we were as he walked pass and didn't stop for the list of things that were wrong. He knew and didn't want to hear it after the food came out 35 minutes after order. So needless to say COLD. When a manager type brought out the food and wife's order was wrong she did fix it by bringing out the correct item, but when asked about the toppings I got an eye roll. Goss incompetence. I tried to place an order for pickup. I started on their website and I could not complete the order with a payment despite trying several methods. I then tried the app with the same result. I called the location to see if they could take my payment over the phone and no one picked up after it rang more than ten times. I will not waste my time with this restaurant again. If the chain wants to salvage this, it can contact me with (1) an explanation; and (2) a confirmation that the entire magagment team at this location has been terminated. When we came in, MH EMS was taking a customer out on a gurney. I'd like to thank the staff members who held the door open for the paramedics--I grew up in a first responder family and so can appreciate the kindness, attentiveness, and support. Despite the jarred staff, our drinks and food came out quickly. Our waitress, Katy, came around often, made suggestions, and was quick and polite. The manager came around too and asked how our food and the service was. I've been to a couple different Texas Roadhouses and I'm pretty sure this is standard as this scenario happens every time I'm there, but this manager really took time at our table and made sure we were satisfied. My steak was overcooked pretty severely but I'm not one to complain about that, better overcooked than undercooked. Place was clean, busy, and loud. Stopped in for dinner on busy a Friday night. We did not put our selves on the wait list so we were prepared to be patient. We were sat in about 15 minutes so not bad at all. Our server was very nice, checked in on us often. This was nice as it did take the food quite a while to get to us once ordered. I had the portobello mushroom chicken with loadedbaked potato. It took quite a while to get this dish. Flavors were good in the chicken, potato was a bit dry and over cooked. What i find interesting is we ordered to Margaritas. We were given option of blended or in rocks. We both had them on the rocks and were charged extra $1 each for that. This review is not for the food because I could never leave a review for that amazing bread. I walked into this establishment at 9:15 when they close at 11pm. The hostess, Bria, informed me that she could not seat us or add us to the waitlist because the wait time was longer than when they closed. I did not quite understand that considering we were in the restaurant well before closing time. So was the wait time 1 hour and 45 minutes? So I explained to her that I'd never been to an establishment that denied guests that were inside the building well before closing. Although we left and found another restaurant, I went on their website to be added to their wait list. Where it stated 30-40 minute waitlist. I will upload pic to confirm. This place just amazes me. No matter when you go, no matter what day, this place is always always busy. Call ahead is the bonus, you will always get seated fairly quickly. The food is always on top of his game, definitely the right price for the quality you receive. We're usually hesitant to go to steakhouses because it's very common to get a steak that's under seasoned and over/undercooked. We both ordered Ribeye and they were perfection. My husband and I came in tonight for a late night dinner date. I'll start off with the food. My order: 11 oz steak cooked medium well. W/ loaded mashed potatoes My husbands order: 16oz steak medium rare w/ chili no onions. When the plates came, his steak was between medium and medium rare. Chili came with onions. My steak was well done. The waitress took it back to get redone, the second time it came it was beyond well done. It was like pure leather/charcoal. Now the service: waitress was fantastic. She kept apologizing, took my plate back and then made sure I got extra potatoes. The second time around she just asked her manager to remove it from the bill because we had already been waiting a good minute and she didn't want us to wait any longer. She took the order off the bill, gave us fresh bread and containers to go. Our original bill was just over $70. 20% of $70 would have been $14. After she got the new bill it came to $46. We gave her a $20 tip and told her to have a good night. We weren't going to fault her because she tried. It wasn't her fault. She said the cook was in a bad mood and caught an attitude when she brought the steak back the first time Overall the food wasn't the best it could have been but the service was a 5/5. Today marks the last time I will be going to this restaurant after going there for 10+ years. Over the last few years the quality of service and the food has plummeted completely. Today my experience was the final straw. First we got there and were seated by a hostess she was pleasant. Then we sat there for 20+ minutes for a waitress to come take our drink orders. We ordered our drinks and put in an appetizer for a blooming onion usually our favorite. The waitress comes to our table with our drinks and then proceeds to spill them all over our legs table and floor. She went to go get us new drinks and only received one of the remaining two drinks we ordered (the third never came). We finally get our blooming onion after 25 minutes and start to eat it we got a few bites in to realize that more than half of it was entirely raw, batter flour and raw onion. I pointed it out to the waitress and she said would you like a new one or just be comped. I chose comp. Then our starters came out for our meal my chili was cold not even lukewarm. We receive our meal and my steak which I ordered medium rare came out very over cooked and dry. We finished what we could stomach and asked for the bill. When we received the bill our blooming onion was not on there but an entirely different appetizer that we didn't order which was more expensive was on there. I asked the server to remove it and said oh yea they added that on there for some reason? What?!?! That added almost $15 more to the bill I'm glad I caught it. We received our expensive bill for just two people for terrible service and undercooked and overcooked food and it was still astronomical.
