    Bread with cinnamon butter

This spot is always busy. I suggest adding your name to the "waitlist" online. It gives you an idea of how long the wait is. Every time I do this, I don't wait longer than 5 mins. In regard to the food, you can't go wrong with their steaks. It is always cooked to my preference. We try not to fill up on the bread and cinnamon butter but how can you not? It's delicious especially when it's freshly baked.

So I have a question... our entire table consisting of six people ordered meals it took forever to get and all of our food was cold and not to mention it was pretty much on the rare side, which I asked it to be medium. The manager said she would "throw it back on the grill" When I said I'm sorry isn't that a violation of health code? I've already cut into it with my fork and knife (which I used to eat my salad and a bite of potato) she said No and took the steak brought it back after 2 mins and it looked like they added oil on top and it still was not much warmer! So my question to anyone out there do you find it gross that she took my steak that I cut into took one bite of and then had me put that steak on a plate using that fork that I use to throw it back on the grill which I am certain is the grill that they're cooking everybody else's food on .

You can never argue about the food and the value of it since both are great, but trying to bring a group larger than 7 is a big problem. Since they don't open until after 3 and no reservations, you have to get on the call ahead waiting list. They force you to use their app or website but for parties over 7 have to call the restaurant. I waited on hold before I had to hang up to go into a store. I got there an hour before to get on waiting list and told it would be at least 2 hour wait. So I broke up my group of 15 into 2 groups. When we did get setted we were no where near each other. Other places with a no reservations policy does let you call the day before if you have a large group. Our service was top notch even with the place packed, which made it a little too loud. Even brought a refills of pop when she brought the table the drinks. The steak was perfect and even the next day reheating. The rolls were their addictive as usual. My loaded baked sweet potato was worth the calories. Will not be back with my dinning out Meetup group, but might meet some friends in a small group there. Good food, table service, and easy to get to.

Dinner with a coworker. Co worker says outstanding! 8 oz New York strip. I had a 16oz sirloin, excellent. Service was great. Drinks were great. Busy but well ran restaurant.

Stopped in for dinner on busy a Friday night. We did not put our selves on the wait list so we were prepared to be patient. We were sat in about 15 minutes so not bad at all. Our server was very nice, checked in on us often. This was nice as it did take the food quite a while to get to us once ordered. I had the portobello mushroom chicken with loadedbaked potato. It took quite a while to get this dish. Flavors were good in the chicken, potato was a bit dry and over cooked. What i find interesting is we ordered to Margaritas. We were given option of blended or in rocks. We both had them on the rocks and were charged extra $1 each for that. If you charge to not blend a margarita please disclose that and not just slide it in the bill. Why would you charge me to do less work anyway?? strange..

My steak, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables all cooked perfect!

This time better: Food , Service, even got free refills and peanuts w/o asking! Server Kristin was very good! Steak was perfect! Mashed potatoes always good and rolls too!

Steak was perfect. 18 oz ribeye.

Food was awesome, I had steak that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was a bit loud but I enjoyed myself. The waitress was nice and very attentive. Bring ya wallet because good food isn't cheap at all.

Right side is raw on Filet Medallions* and Seasoned Rice was not seasoned to my liking! Not worth 35 dollars

Asked for medium rare but one side of my steak was raw! Came all the way from Texas and it was my first day so I was very disappointed

Denied seating us or adding us to the wait list by Bria because wait time was past 11pm. Photo denies her claim.

This review is not for the food because I could never leave a review for that amazing bread. I walked into this establishment at 9:15 when they close at 11pm. The hostess, Bria, informed me that she could not seat us or add us to the waitlist because the wait time was longer than when they closed. I did not quite understand that considering we were in the restaurant well before closing time. So was the wait time 1 hour and 45 minutes? So I explained to her that I'd never been to an establishment that denied guests that were inside the building well before closing. Although we left and found another restaurant, I went on their website to be added to their wait list. Where it stated 30-40 minute waitlist. I will upload pic to confirm. I don't want to be one of those to complain but I do not like to be mistreated or lied to. Give me the wait time and allow me to state that I will not wait that long.

I came on a very busy Friday night. We was able to put our name on a list online so we didn't have to wait long. The restaurant was clean for a busy night. My steak was cooked to perfection green beans were very well seasoned. The bread rolls was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and kept a smile on our faces.

My 9 y/o loved the ribeye, and the filet was great. Staff was nice. My 9 y/o rates this the best steakhouse ever.

There is likely better barbecue in the area. Each meat varied heavily in quality, so they will be rated individually below. I ordered the Pitmaster's Platter, which included multiple samples of the meats. Meats Beef Brisket (2/5): For some reason, this brisket was extremely dry. There was no moisture between the meat fibers. When doing the brisket bend test over a finger, the brisket barely even moved. The bark had the texture of jerky. I would not recommend this meat option. Pulled Pork (3/5): The pulled pork was moist in some places and dry in others. This meat was extremely average. There were some parts of the pulled pork with a heavy smoke flavor, which I did appreciate. Pulled Chicken (2/5): This was just as dry as the brisket. There were small portions that did have some moisture, but I could not finish the dry portions. Cheddar Jalapeno Sausage (4/5): This meat was the best among the options. Incredibly juicy, heavy on the seasoning, and the cheese was oozing out of the sausage. If I were to come back, I would order this again. Ribs (2/5): Again, just as dry as the other meats. There was no pull, and the meat was tough on the outside. Sides Mac & Cheese (3/5): This macaroni and cheese was nothing special, despite other reviews raving about it. It is a standard mac and cheese with slightly soggy breadcrumbs on top. Coleslaw (5/5): Somehow, this was the best part of the meal. The coleslaw tasted extremely fresh. There was just enough sauce to coat the vegetables without taking away from their quality and crunch. The coleslaw being the best part of the meal says a lot about this establishment. I do not think I will be coming back here again.

At each table gloves, chopsticks, hand sanitizer, plastic straws, and plastic utensils were provided. Which is such a thoughtful touch. The fried chicken was SUPER juicy and tender with a cornflake fried batter covered in chosen sauces. There were so many flavor options to choose from, which made it fun to decide. The pieces were huge, so the price felt completely worth it. The servers were especially kind and patient with us as first-timers. They took the time to explain the most popular flavors and gave great recommendations, which we really appreciated. The only downside were the sides. The onion rings and fries didn't seem to have any seasoning. So, they tasted a bit plain compared to the bold, flavorful chicken. I'd definitely come back for the chicken alone. If you're craving crispy, juicy fried chicken with tons of flavor options, this is a spot worth trying!

The staff of both establishments are friendly and polite. I recommend going on a Wednesday, which is when BBQ tacos are a special. I've tried 3 of those, most of the meats, and all the sides. The tacos I've had are beef brisket, pig belly burnt ends, and pulled pork. Of those, the burnt ends taco was the best, but all 3 were great. If you came here just for the tacos, I wouldn't blame you at all. As for the meats, I truthfully don't have a favorite, because they were all that good. The ribs were juicy and tender. The brisket looked and tasted just right. I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The meatloaf was unlike any I've ever had. It was incredibly tender and had a great, smoky flavor. Although pastrami is beef, it tasted like a very well seasoned ham. Most places I've gotten burnt ends from dry them out, but that is not the case here whatsoever. The pulled pork was standard compared to the rest of the meats, but still better than average. None of the sides disappoint. The beans appear runny, but were delicious. The mac had a generous amount of cheese, and wasn't dry either. I've only had collard greens a couple times, but I found it enjoyable. The potatoes were delightful, but what took them to the next level was the toum it was served with. Toum is a Lebanese garlic sauce. The slaw was creamy and flavorful. Blueberry cornbread is something I've never seen on a BBQ menu before. Both that and the pickles tasted as they were advertised. Smoked Lotus blew me away, and I'll even go as far as saying it's my new favorite, local spot for BBQ. Even the pricing is fair, especially for the quality you're getting. If you love BBQ and haven't been here yet, you're missing out.
