After weeks of couples counseling we resorted to an old classic. Both praying this could rekindle the spark. With expectations higher than the current alimony rate. We were let down drastically. It's safe to say we won't be returning to couples counseling as we both took the night as a sign. The cute urge to get takeout and go on a drive began with the thought of the famous and delicious cinnamon butter. The most known thing. Instead we received basic plain butter. Every bite was a let down compared to what could've been. It was like a metaphor for us settling in life. Not surprised but disappointed. Already knew there was no hope for the ribs but we kept on. Never in my life have I experienced such dry wanna be ribs. They genuinely offended my taste buds. They DESTROYED my saucepextations. All around a dry night. The staff member who took my order made me realize all the traits I hated in my wife. So unhelpful and unhappy to be involved. Was not made aware of the parking spots to receive the order which was another key note to go wrong. Haven't tried the chicken yet but it's seemingly going to be as dry as this marriage was. We had a great supper here last Friday night. We joined the waitlist on our way to the restaurant. When we arrived we checked in at the front and were seated within 10 minutes. even though it was fairly crowded. Our server was great, we had a 13 year old grandson who gave her a hard time, and she joked back with him. Which he loved the attention. She was very attentive to the family. The food was hot and delicious and our server kept us filled up with drinks and hot rolls. Great service. Toward the end of the meal, my granddaughter accidentally spilled her glass of water on her and the table. For the tired, 8 year old it was devastating. She sobbed. Our server Courtney hugged her and told her not to worry about it she would take care of everything. After cleaning everything up she told her she had the most beautiful smile. Which made her night. She continued to cry because Courtney was so sweet to her. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for helping us make a great memory with our family. read more

Never have I been to a roadhouse like this one. The staff is the most upscale, classiest, sweetest staff you'll ever come across. They wait on you hand and foot and they are always asking if they can do anything more to serve you. Not to mention, I guess all Roadhouse staff members are required to learn dances for certain songs and I've never witnessed it at any other Roadhouses' but this one! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was terrible. Our waitress Tamara was practically nonexistent throughout our dinner. We asked for rolls and refills twice and never received them. The table next to us (same waitress) did not get drinks or rolls until they were served their meals from a different waitress who then brought them drinks. We spoke with the manager, who said this was a teachable moment for her and he didn't give us a discount for our meal. Glad we were just passing through Marion to visit family. read more

Ordered carry out here around 3pm today. Ordered just 3 meals in which 2 were the exact same thing. I ordered a medium well, and it was completely well done. We got 5 rolls, and only 1 little container of butter.... and the overall presentation of the food just reminded me of Golden Corral. It just looked thrown together. And we didn't receive silverware. Seriously, the only reason I even gave 2 stars is because the women who brought my food was nice, and it was fairly quick. But for $40 and 3 meals... it was not worth. Our waitress Paula is always awesome(friendly and very attentive) and the food was perfect!! Steaks were cooked just how we like and no fat on them. Rolls were good and warm and the honey butter cannot be beat. First time I had ordered the buttered corn and so glad I did. Of course the baked potatoes are always great too. Tried to call ahead for seating, no one would answer the phone. Waited an hour for our table, which was kind of reasonable considering our party of 9. We were sat at 2 tables side by side, not what we asked for but again we were fine since we were close together. Our orders were taken at the same time and then drinks and salads were delivered to both tables. Then one table was completely forgotten. We sat and watched the people at the other table eat, one person even sent their steak back twice because it wasn't cooked correctly. Still, the other table had nothing to eat and their drinks were empty. When the other table was finished, I went to the manager to ask WHY our food still wasn't ready. I was told they "were working on it". When it did arrive 10 minutes later, all the orders were wrong and the sweet potatoes were burnt. One steak was so raw it was still cold in the middle and was sent back to be COOKED. When the MANAGER brought it back out and it was still not cooked correctly, I asked if we could just get a discount at this point because the rest of our party was finished and we were so tired and frustrated...the MANAGER told me that I "was not being very nice". ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? 4 of us waited for the wrong steak for over an hour, was given a burnt sweet potatoes and then I told my behavior was inappropriate when I complained about the lousy service I was PAYING for. Not only were our orders extremely late (forgotten or missed, I'm sure) but they were wrong and we were made to feel at fault and unwelcome. No Problem, we will NEVER visit this "restaurant" again. This steakhouse opened a couple months ago. I have been there 4 times. I ALWAYS get the 8 oz filet med rare. The steaks are always PERFECT. I do not have one single complaint. Every dish they serve is absolutely perfect. The rolls are always hot and fresh, the potatoes are very fluffy and I love the taste of their butter . The salads are fresh and crisp and the dressings are all homemade .. The servers were amazing and very attentive. Every 45 minutes they do a little line dance for you, adding to the fun atmosphere. This used to be my favorite Texas roadhouse in the state of Indiana and we've been to a lot of them! But the last two times we've been here the music has been so loud and today I had to leave in the middle of my meal. I could not even think straight, we did ask for our waitress to turn down the music and she said it was down as low as it would go. Shortly after they did their line dance and had it cranked up beyond ridiculously loud for 2 people to "line dance" and then when it was over they turned it down lower than what it was which would've been perfect but, then turned it back up. Don't get me wrong I like my music and sometimes loud, but I am not at a party nor am I at a bar, I am here to have dinner with my husband and my 2 adult children who I kinda like and I would have liked to been able to eat a good meal and have good conversation. Today I could not enjoy either because I chose to come to this Road House Probably won't be coming back here anytime soon if ever. read more
