    Extra Fresh-Baked Bread

I had never been to a Texas Roadhouse prior to moving here but I think I've made up for it . We've dropped in several times and it's always been a good experience. It's typically busy and loud but not overwhelmingly so. We've been lucky to have great servers each time. The food, mainly the sides, have varied from delicious to just ok. But honestly, as long as they keep the bread I'll be back!

First time trying Texas Roadhouse which is mainly known for their steaks and ribs. We visited on a Sunday for lunch and the wait-time was minimal - 10 mins. They have lots of seating options inside. Our server, Amanda, was amazing. Very attentive to our large group and she was SUPER fast at getting us anything we needed. Anytime we needed a refill, we didn't even have to ask. She was always paying attention to what we needed. Something I thought was a nice touch was that they provide the table a complimentary bag of salted and roasted peanuts along with a bucket to toss the scraps. The peanuts were so good it was hard to stop yourself from eating the whole bag! As an appetizer, we ordered the Cactus blossom which is fried onion with a Cajun sauce. It was super good! And filling. For a table of 6, it was awesome. They also provided complimentary bread for the table and I was on cloud 9! I'm a bread girl so we even had to order more bread because of how good it was. The butter had a touch of cinnamon which was unique. For the entree, I tried the Grilled Chicken Salad and it was great! It was a huge portion so I was able to take half of it home. It was super tasty and refreshing. My hubby ordered the filet medallions and he loved it. It came with a house salad as well and a loaded baked potato. He had no complaints with the cook of the meat and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. Looking forward on stopping again to try other items on the menu.

After hiking a trail nearby, my girlfriend and I stopped by Texas Roadhouse in Palm Bay for lunch--and it hit the spot! The warm rolls with cinnamon butter were amazing as always. I had the Roadkill with a loaded baked potato--flavorful and filling. My girlfriend got the pulled pork sandwich, which was tender and delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Great food, great vibes--we'll definitely be back!

On the way home from an impromptu road trip and we codling resist this rest stop and fill up the belly's. I used the app to be put on the wait list while I was shooing for some ammo close buy. Parked next door and checked in and were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our server Anthony was absolutely amazing. The wifey chicken didn't taste so good but he made things right and was so kind and helpful. It's service like this that will continue to have us come back over and over again. Good good, good prices and more importantly excellent service. Keep it going Texas Roadhouse.

My first experience with Texas Roadhouse was the location on Eau Gallie Blvd., just east of Eau Gallie Causeway. Being accustomed to Outback and other steakhouses of the same ilk, I was expecting somewhat of the same thing. Back then, a steakhouse was a steakhouse and what made them stand out from others is how well they cooked their steaks. And though Texas Roadhouse is very similar to other steakhouses, they also introduced differences I was not used to or did not know as options at the time. With that said, when a location opened up on Malabar Rd., I was happy as it is my stepdad's favorite restaurant. I, along with family and friends, have eaten at this location many times over the course of many years. And though I can name other steakhouses that are above and beyond the basics of what Texas Roadhouse offers, overall, this is a good Texas Roadhouse location. Probably no better or no worse than others in general, but still good... and a bit my preference because it happens to be the closest one to home. Texas Roadhouse on Malabar Rd. is located on the Northside of the road, just west of the I-95 Malabar Rd. exit. One gripe is that its location is behind a McDonald's and gas station, thus there is a lot of traffic going in-and-out to the restaurant. It doesn't help that the direct entrance to Texas Roadhouse is a "right turn ONLY" heading west on Malabar Rd. For patrons heading east, you will need to either make a u-turn or turn left into the plaza at the stoplight that is west and before Texas Roadhouse and enter through plaza parking in the restaurant's backside. If you seen the majority of Texas Roadhouse restaurants, than you seen this one. Same decor with the outside waiting area where barrels of peanuts used to be. Inside, typical and somewhat tacky western cowboy decor. SIDENOTE: there is always a corner of the restaurant dedicated to Willie Nelson. It is known as Willie's Corner and you'll know you are sitting at it because it will have a sign that says it. Service and food have been generally good to above average over the course of my multiple visits, but mostly generally good. There have been times things were not stellar. For example, if you can, make sure you do not get a table near the restrooms. Depending on who is on staff, it will be fine or slight whiffs of sanitary disposal might come your way. But besides that, almost all my wait staff have been on point and the food is delicious. As a matter of fact, I will say that out of all the food they have, my fav dish, believe it or not, is their Caesar chicken salad (meal size). Evenly coated dressing on everything and a lot of big pieces of chicken. Definitely my go-to" if I want to eat healthy-er-ish. Ultimately, this Texas Roadhouse location is just like the others and if distance is not a thing, you can't go wrong going to this one or to any other. Like I said, I am a bit biased to this one simply because it is the closest. There hasn't been a Texas Roadhouse that has been generally above average or gone above and beyond my initial experience. Still, a solid choice for steak, chicken, and the like.

This place was packed Thursday night about 8:00 p.m. that being said, it only took us about 15 minutes to get a table. Our server was awesome. Friendly quick-witted and very attentive. I grabbed the ribeye with a side of shrimp. Ordered the ribeye medium rare and was cooked more to the rare side. Other than that, the flavor was really great. As for the shrimp, I would skip. Overcooked and rubbery consistency.

I came to the restaurant with my disabled friend who is on crutches and struggling to walk. It's over 86° today stifling hot and I asked the hostess if we could come inside and wait because I could see plenty of seats available for him to sit down since he was on crutches. She said no that he had to wait behind a party of 34 people. she couldn't be considerate enough to let people in to just rest or even one to just rest in the AC not caring that he was on crutches. I called her out on it. She said "you could wait in your car?" I said, "Or you could be considerate towards the disabled man??" she continued to say no so I said "I'm canceling and you can take the other 34 people." She said OK thank you have a nice day" with a smirk on her face and in a snotty way. when I see that you don't care about disabled people that's when I have to leave because there was no reason you couldn't let him wait inside in the AC. In the past, when we have waited in the car in the heat, they completely forgot about us and we were waiting over an hour and our food was still cold and the service was bad. I'm very disappointed and I don't want to come back at this point because this isn't the first time you all screwed up with us.

Been wanting to try this place but tend to forget to come by. Facility: this is a small place located in a strip mall. There is booth seating and tables and chairs. There's even a little bar corner that has 3 tall bar seats. Ordering is a little confusing as the counter is not the place you go to... that's only if you are paying. Instead it's over by the buffet serving section. Then you go back to that counter to pay. Service: The lady was polite. She seemed overworked as she is the one taking orders, making food, helping tables, and checking people out. It took about 15 minutes to get my food. Be warned they are only open Wed through Sunday and their hours change most days, but it's like 12-5pm. Food: I ordered two lunch specials ... Chicken leg with Cole slaw and beans for my grandma.... I didn't try the sides, but the chicken looked amazing and a little sauce got on my finger and it was very good. I got the catfish 4.5/5, potato salad 3/5, and some extra sides to check them out... cabbage 4/5, fried okra 5/5 and mac and cheese 3.5/5. We also got mini sweet potato pie 4.5/5 and some peach cobbler (my grandma is saving this for tonight). Overall: This place is good. I will be back to try more things.

I bit into the ribs, nicely seasoned, very juicy when I added my mild sauce. I was able to try the sliced beef and pork, which was very good also. The sides were a little meh for the exception of the baked potatoes. We received nice generous portions and ended up taking half of it back to the hotel. Let's talk about our server. Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. **OVERALL REVIEW**…read more On the Space Coast (Brevad County), there are currently three locations for Sonny's BBQ. Two of them are within central to north-central Brevard. Ergo, anyone living in Melbourne and heading southbound, it is a bit of a drive to get to them. That is why the Sonny's BBQ located in Malabar is technically an "essential" spot for patrons, especially those who are fans. For a Sonny's BBQ (which I will shorthand simply to Sonny's for the rest of this review), this location is mediocre to okay, depending on who is on staff and the time of day. But rest assured, there are many other better BBQ spots to go to especially one exit up heading northbound on I-95 to Palm Bay Rd. But if you have to eat at Sonny's for any reason, you can easily navigate the menu for a decent meal at a decent price. Though an address is provided, Sonny's is located on the southside of Malabar Rd., just west of I-95 They are located just west of the Walmart Supercenter at their traffic light. Starting with their decor and ambiance, they have melded both their traditional western/southern BBQ style with modernization. So imagine barnwood paneling and barn sliding doors, but with a modern layout, color scheme, and art decor. For today's standards, visually okay but the floor is opened to provide more seating. Most of the serving staff have been good, and the latest one is a girl named Ling, who did here best to keep up with all of us given the fact the floor was short-staffed. The menu has been minimized to optioned choices that include chicken, turkey, brisket, ribs, steak, and pork, cooked in many ways for variety. At times, the pulled pork and brisket would be too dry, at other times, just right, but given the amount of sauce per meal, it is manageable. As for stand-alone meals, I had many of their sandwiches and they are good, but the what they call a Cuban sandwich is not traditional in any sense. For hardcore Cuban sandwich connoisiers, they may even go as far to call it an abomination. Thankfully, the price of the food is within the average of most BBQ places these days, ranging from $12 to $20 on average, cheaper for certain meals and more expensive for bigger meal sets such as family feasts. Sidenote: The restfrooms were clean as they can be for a restaurant that is on average busy. No real messes, and TP and hand towels are stocked. I am going to give Sonny's an overall average from all my subsequent visits three-out-of-four stars. They are a-okay, but they don't stand out amongst other Sonny's BBQ locations let along there are other places that do a far better job than they do, but they happen to also be mom n' pop locations, too. Ultimately, this Sonny's BBQ is good in accordance with what you expect with a national chain like them.

We've been having family drive big takeout orders down here from this location whenever they visit and it is just as good as I remember. The ribs are fall off the bone tender, and the barbecue sauce is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky. The cornbread is soft and sweet, the toast is buttery and thick, the coleslaw is chopped small and not too wet or too celery heavy. And the BEANS. I love these baked beans. They have pieces of pork in them and are perfect. I could eat an order of just beans and be happy. I've also recently discovered their sausages, which pair so well with the spicy barbecue. Their coconut cream pie and chocolate pie are delightful too. I've never eaten in here so I can't speak to the actual restaurant experience. That being said, the staff do go out of their way to pack the orders in the catering trays when they hear we're taking it long distance. We have sometimes had issues with pieces of the order getting left out, but they've always been very good about making it up to us. I have no good pictures of the food because I inhale it the second it arrives. Trust my one rib photo and twenty years of loyalty to the Woody's name and give them a try!

Just a year here in the 321 and we have been a bit depressed about…read morethe food landscape-haven't found decent Mexican or Greek food ANYWHERE yet, but this BBQ was a hit after 1 visit, though my hubby came here REGULARLY nearly 35 years ago when he was a hungry rowing coach in college. These days.....I'm most impressed by mom and pop places that can DELIVER VALUE and QUALITY. It's getting harder to make those eating out decisions. Support the local places that are grinding day in and day out to earn your dollar. Woody's has an ENORMOUS menu with just about anything (baby back ribs and half chicken and sweet potatoes are STANDOUTS) and the prices are EXTREMELY fair for this economy. Clean and cozy restaurant, not loud, clean bathrooms, too. No need to look ANYWHERE else for BBQ.
