We ordered the drive up using the mobile app and got a 6:00pm pickup time. When we got there the line was 24 cars deep. By the time they got to us it was 6:20 and our food wasn't ready yet. Another terribly bad experience here. I ordered a well done bacon burger and when it arrived i bit into it and it was RAW ground beef on the inside. They apologized and gave me a coupon for a free entree but honestly... do you think im gonna want to come back after that??? I mean i literally felt sick to my stomach!! Visited 5/27-In need of a steak fix and a continuation of our date day. My fiance ordered a t bone steak with a side of fries. I bet him that he could not finish it, well I always loose these eating bets, he finished it. I enjoyed a Filet Mignon with a side of rice and a yummy margarita. The roles are very good and can be addictive! They use cinnamon butter, delicious! Do not ask for more or just ask for one, not a whole basket. Of course the plate was big enough that I had a meal to bring home with me. Not as good as I remembered it, but a nice relaxing good meal. The service was great as well. read more

One of the best places near Annapolis if you enjoy cactus blossoms and warm rolls. The steak is always juicy and cooked perfectly for your desire. Their steamed vegetables were limited to carrots and broccoli but no the reason I visited. So about a month later I visit the restaraunt, my woman has never been here and she actually told me "everything is good here".. The bread, appetizer, entree, server was pleasant. Loyal customers for many years. Totally understand that Covid is throwing a wrench in normal operations.. The last three times we have been there, we have had issues. I am not complaining about the wait times. We totally understand that. This week: We had two tables seated after us and both received their meals before us. The server noticed this and went back to check. She came out with the wrong steak. No biggie to me. But the Herb Crusted Chicken came out and was totally torched and dry. On top of that, they just threw a slice of lemon "quarter" from the bar on it instead of the normal grilled lemmon-half that usually comes with it. Only thing I can picture is the cook forgot to make the order and figured that they would just throw something together for us. It was truly not right. Other issues have just been cold food and steaks cooked rare as opposed to we'll done. To who ever orders carryout from this place you need to check your bags before you leave. I even had another patron tell me this yesterday after I had to go back down and pick up three missing items from my order. Its literally every order there is something missing. My family ordered three entress and each comes with two sides, and they left off three out of six of my sides. Just last week we were missing one side. I think I am done ordering from here for a while. Food is good at times but also can be pretty lousy. My son loves Salmon, last week the portion he received was twice the size as the one he got yesterday and both times I paid for the largest size on the menu. Food portions should be consistent along with fulfilling orders. We as customers always here how hard the restaurant business was hit during the pandemic well its just as hard spending my hard earned money and to be shorted food I clearly paid for on a consistent basis. We loved it here! Never tried before as so crowded so we went by tonight and it was GREAT! Our waitress was the lovely Emily who was sweet, polite and took her time to talk to us. The manager was a friendly girl who came by to say hello as it was our first visit. The food was excellent, not a long wait even tho it got very busy. I had the catfish and my guy had a rib eye steak and they were cooked perfectly. I loved the mermaid painting in the bar! Lots to look at all over. Some of the best steak I've had in Pasadena/Glen Burnie area. Very good for the price. Service is usually good. Love the ambience. Feels like a very family friendly place. With they had more big tables to fit big tables though. Other than that, would definitely recommend the Roadhouse. Bread is good. We've been coming here since this location opened & after tonight we won't be back. The food has declined over the years, tonight was just one thing after another - final straw was a bloody steak that tasted like lighter fluid (supposed to be medium well) that appears to have gone back to the kitchen to be reheated (?) And given back. Anymore it seems to be the goal to pack em in & get em out instead of quality food & service. Last month I took my daughter and grandsons to Texas Roadhouse fort dinner. Fortunately, I arrived first and got our table. When I sat down the table was wet and sticky. So I asked if they could wipe it again, so they did. However, they came and wiped it again with a rag that looked excessively used to clean other tables. Nasty to be exact. After the 2nd wipe of the table I asked if "he would sit at a table that is wet, again?" No he said, my point is....why wash the table and not wipe it off. EEWWWW. Then, there were multiple hand sanitizer's on the walls along the isles to the tables. Well, the first sanitize wall station was out of sanitizer, then I walked further towards my table and it too was empty. I told 5 employees, the 3 ladies taking your names for a table, and 2 waiters. My answer was, "I think we are out of it?" Well that really gave me confidence germs will be everywhere if they don't refill or order them. (Walmart crowd . . . not that there's anything wrong with that (as Seinfeld would say)), although matching wife beater shirts and "athletic shorts" on an older fat father and younger fat son, were a little much . . . but, entertaining. I had a small cup of liquidy chili to start. Steaks tasted like they bought them at local supermarket. My sirloin strip was pretty small, salty, and needed some trimming before I could eat it. My wife's ribeye was better than the sirloin but, not fantastic. On the plus side, the veggy sides (no pun intended) were fresh, service was pretty good (although I DESPISE the canned shpiel the server was about to give about the menu . . .I told him we had actually been to a restaurant before . . .) Server was efficient and pleasant. (despite having to deal w/ me) Free rolls were GREAZZZY (as we say in Philly). We couldn't determine whether they were slathered in butter, oil, or lard. . . .it was a butter-like substance. Food is better than Outback, not in same league (or price point) as Ruth's Chris, et al. We had one of these joints where we used to live and this one was much better all around. We had a party of 11 on Sunday May 11 2014. We were seated within 20 mins. This place is always busy but the service we got was amazing. Our server was amazing and so wasn't the manager Megan. We had to send 2 steaks back 3 times the manager was highly pissed at her cooks. She took both meals off and still made sure the meals were done. I will forever recommend this place. I am gonna go for between a 3 and 4 star here. As a gluten free vegetarian it does limit things a bit. I miss the rolls SO much but allergies are allergies. At least they have an option where you can order an assortment of sides. The bummer is that there's chicken broth in the mashed potatoes and the sweet potatoes & baked potatoes are cooked in bacon fat. I sure wish they would change that so it made it a little easier on vegetarians. However I know this isn't a place made for vegetarians. It just makes it a little nicer and easier to have variety when us veg folks go out to places with our carnivore friends. I have heard so many good things about Texas Roadhouse, and have been told that it was much better than the Outback, but from my one experience there, I will stick to the Outback as being the better of the two. Granted, getting severely sick late that night and the entire next day, after eating there may had sueded my opinion ever so slightly! I can only assume that I had food poisoning of some sort, and since I was the only one who had the chili as a side dish, I will go one step further in assuming that was the cause. As, far as the establishment itself, we were seated in the bar area ( but was not asked our preference) and it was loud with what seemed to have been the local redneck crowd. The obnoxious loud country music playing was not an asset either. The service was okay, not bad, not great. We got hot wings and the cactus blossom as appetizers, and they were both good, but not great. The fresh rolls with cinnamon butter was one of the best parts of the meal. I got the Dallas fillet, and it was delicious, ( but that is really hard to mess up) the mashed potatoes and gravy were again good but not great. Overall, I am glad that I went and tried it out, but I won't be making any special trips to return. One other thing, this was for a birthday meal, so I did have fun going there, and did want to go there, and am grateful for the gesture. Let me get the usual blah blah out of the way. Texas Roadhouse IS a pretty standard steakhouse chain restaurant. Look around at the décor, uniforms, building...Outback LongHorn steakhouse. It's all the same. Come here expecting a four star dining experience and you will be disappointed. Let's start with the good. The complimentary rolls with cinnamon butter are out of this world! Soft, cinnamony goodness. The service was initially prompt and friendly. I ordered the "Roadkill" steak ($10.99) with a house salad and buttered corn. The waitress asked me how I'd like it killed. Haw haw? Th steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The food was coursed perfectly. Appetizer and salads came out right when they should have followed by entrees. Well, that was the good part about our dining experience. Now the bad. I overheard a conversation between our server and one of the hosts. "Am I gonna get a rush?" I heard her ask him. This was AFTER my friend noted that she ALREADY had a significant number of tables. She was MIA from our table for a loooooong time. Getting water refills was virtually impossible. Our table was bussed just once and dirty plates were left on the table. No dessert menu was offered. The harried waitress asked if anybody wanted coffee before dropping off the check and not clearing a SINGLE plate off the table. My three attempts to get another beer were unsuccessful. The server obviously had too many tables and I am generally tired of seeing this at chain restaurants. I point the finger at management idiocy. They find a server who can "handle" a large number of tables and give them a ridiculously large section so they can put one less person on the floor and save on the $3.13 they'd have to pay the other server. Or maybe somebody called out and they didn't have a contingency plan? Either way, the service was terrible and it significantly ruined my experience at Longhorn...I mean Texas Roadhouse.
