Our food came out cold, we had to ask for refills and bread, we stacked empty glasses on the end of the table and they sat there throughout our whole meal. Then there was something in my friend's water and there was no offered solution besides recooked food which took another 20-30 minutes to come out. The service wasn't good either. So I did call ahead seating to have dinner with my family at Texas Roadhouse In Riverview Florida. I arrive prior to my hour time being up. When I go to the hostess area to check in and be seated, they refuse to seat me because I stated I was a party of 3 and my family hadn't come inside yet. My father is handicapped and unable to walk a long distance as well as stand and wait. No one including the manager at Texas Roadhouse Riverview Florida cared, they told me I had to wait for the rest of my party to get there to be seated! Never eating here again! read more

My family and I decided to try the new location for my sons 2nd birthday and my sister in laws 23rd.. my mother in law called in at 4:00pm and received a confirmation code of 4303 for a reservation at 7pm. My wife and I arrived early to check in and get "waiting buzzer".. we were given the buzzer upon arrival and asked to wait for rest of party, once party arrived we waited a little while longer and the buzzer went off and as we approached the desk "Greg the manager" approached us and told my mother in law she was supposed to call and confirm.. (she had a conformation code).. after a brief and unprofessional conversation we were told "well nothing I can do.. how about 830" after we were waiting almost an hr and we had grandparents with us and eating that late wasn't an option after waiting!! As we were leaving the "desk girl" called my mother in laws names over the overhead speaker for a party call up.. we turned back to go in and she said "oops sorry".. that was ridiculous.. I'm sure everyone knows how hard it is to keep a newly toddler happy and calm when they are hungry!! Worst experience I've ever had at an Texas Roadhouse location.. especially for a new location!! With a growing population in southeast Hillsborough County, there has been a developing need for quality restaurants to supplement the many fast food franchises in the area. Texas Roadhouse fits this need admirably. Since opening on 301, the place has been jam packed. Despite the heavy traffic, this restaurant does an excellent job of meeting the public's need for consistently well prepared food and drink and has an attentive service staff that has been well trained and supervised by a good management team. Hopefully, they will maintain the current high standards and continue to deliver excellent value for the money. read more

My husband and I came to the restaurant today to have our anniversary dinner. We arrived at 3:40pm. The door was already open and guests were seated and being served. My husband went into the restaurant ahead of me to ask for how long there would be a wait for at a table close by in the first section. He explained that I needed to sit as close to the door as possible due to not being able to walk far. He was told that there were no tables/booths available in the first section because they didn't have a server available for that area. I cannot walk to the opposite end of the restaurant. We had to leave very disappointed and frustrated that this is not the first time this has occurred. We were there the night that the restaurant offered free meals for guests while they were doing a training day. We had to sit at the back of the restaurant as I require a table, I can't sit in a booth due to a disability. On this occasion due to there being no available handicapped parking I was dropped off in front of the door and my husband parked nearby. I went in while we waited for our table and sat on one of the benches. We had about a 45 minute wait due to needing a table or half table. I had no issue with that however there are none of this type of seating anywhere except for 4 tables at the back of the restaurant, as far from the door as you can get. When we went to leave there was nowhere that I could sit for a few minutes when I got close to the exit of the restaurant and had to walk to where my husband parked. He wasn't able to pull the car up near the door due to many cars blocking that area. Walking out to where our car was parked caused me crushing chest pain. I had to go to the hospital as I was having a medical emergency room. I have since been homebound except for visits to the many doctors I am now receiving treatment by in relation to that incident. I must say I am extremely frustrated and upset about the restaurant not making accommodations for guests who can't walk as far as the other side of the restaurant. Apparently our desire to enjoy a delicious dinner and pay well for the food and service that Texas Roadhouse locations in Wesley Chapel and Lakeland Florida have always excelled at. I don't believe we will ever consider dining at the new Riverview location. It is also unsettling to know that a restaurant that opens at 4pm and not earlier had many tables already seated and being served at 3:40pm. read more

I've had the sirloin twice now with friends, and we have all had excellent steaks cooked perfectly. The only problem I could see was the noise level. If that's a problem for you I would suggest getting food to go, it's worth it and priced perfectly. read more

Let me first start off by saying USE THE CALL AHEAD SEATING APP we waited 2 hours because well they have only been open a few weeks and I didn't know about the app until arrival my fault! We waited and party of 8 was well worth it started out bumpy because we were just starving mouth watering looking at the bead in the window by host stand and a server was polite enough to give us a basket as she over heard us talking about being so hungry she then proceeded to go out of her way and bring us some drinks while we waited to sit (outstanding hospitality) Finally all 8 set to eat and by the hospitality Gods the same lady that helped us with bread and drinks was our server Nancy! We ordered drinks she came out within a few minutes to bring them, when taking our drink order she also suggested appetizers we ordered multiple! All delicious! As we waited on our steaks our salads were fresh and so cold she refilled drinks and engaged in great conversation making us feel as if we were the only ones she was serving however we knew we weren't because the table across from us was hers to and also bragged about how nice she was. Finally she hand delivered our steaks all in the order never asking who got what she placed them in front of us and we didn't even say thank you before digging in OMG the Bone in ribeye is all I can say So good thanks for recommending that it was delicious! We all needed boxes of course! She asked if we wanted to try a brownie thing and we were so stuffed we couldn't eat another bite She boxed all our food while speaking to us and thanking us for coming in then my mother asked her how long she had been serving here she replied with serving forever but at Texas they started training a week before opening!! Couldn't believe it she said she's always loved serving and we were amazed at how much she knew and just how good of a server she was! It's hard to find a good place to eat with great service now days, I applaud Nancy and look forward to Coming back to have her serve us no matter how long the wait is we will definitely be back and ask for this young lady! I ordered a pick up order for the family and was told 20 minutes until it would be ready. I got there exactly 20 minutes later and saw a few meals waiting in the to go racks for pick up. I told the to go waitress my name and she said she would bring my food right out. About 20 minutes later I got out and asked someone how long it would be because I was concerned that there were 3 or 4 bags of food sitting there waiting and was making sure none of them were mine. I was told they weren't and someone would have my food right out. Another 20 minutes goes by and the same waitress comes over and asked what I ordered. She went back to the waiting rack and grabs a bag and brings it over and tells me they had my food under a different name. I asked her how long my food had been sitting there and she said that they just brought it out. Well I drove the 8 minutes home and all of my food was cold. Obviously my food had been sitting for at least 30 minutes. Not one thing was even warm. Honestly was disappointed with this place. My husband and I have been very eager to get in here and try some things being it's famous for one of the best steakhouses down south. A group of us family and friends (6) decided to go the day before Thanksgiving. What a nightmare I expected long wait lines and such but understaffed on a Holiday Week?! We were told 1:30 min wait time which we were fine with and decided to wait. It's a new location and building so everything is clean and nice. We decided to grab drinks by the bar and a quick app being it's going to be awhile. Only 3 bartenders in the whole place. Took forever to get actually what we ordered. My margarita had no shot of tequila tasted like pre made juice. Blooming onion was soggy and not crispy at all.. I understand your busy you have a full house but you can't just push out room temp food or not have the main ingredient in your drink. Finally seated after waiting over an hour 1:50 min put our food order in and waited another 1:45 min for our food..... at this point I told the waitress I want the stuff to go! This Texas Roadhouse location just opened by where we live. We heard good things about it and knew we had to dine in. We decided to go eat for dinner on a Friday evening around 4:45 PM. To be fair, the wait time was a little longer than what we expected because it was so busy, so we decided to sit at the bar. After some time of waiting for our food, the bar tender mentioned to us how our food ticket was misplaced and therefor had to retake our order. Immediately the service manager Greg Lee came to our attention and apologized for the inconvenience and 3 minutes after he left to put our order in, the steaks came out hot and ready. He personally went out of his way to deliver our meal. This man was excellent and is a genuine manager who cares about his customers, his employees, and most importantly actually wanting to be there. You guys are extremely lucky to have him on your team. I will definitely come back. read more

This is a newly open location, but the staffing talent in the kitchen needs some training. My sister requested her steak to be medium, but it came out completely raw. The server was amazing, but the managing partner tried to dismiss the situation as "human error". I clarified it was not, just a poor choice in hiring. The managing partner again dismissed the situation and did not offer any compensation. To clarify, I never asked for this. We asked to speak with her manager. She got her managing partner Dan. He had the same approach and accused me of being too loud. There was several birthday parties, so I couldn't hear myself speak. We ended up getting the steak "comped", but no steak to show for it. Dan agreed the first manager was wrong and will use it as a training opportunity. Dan said I could complain, but it should just come back to him. Very Disappointed. My husband and I were craving Prime Rib,boy did we pick the wrong place.The hostess was very pleasant it's nice that they give you bread when they seat you.Well when we arrived at our table peanuts all over the floor to get into our seats we stepped all over them.Aren't the bus people and servers trained to check the floors while cleaning their tables? We should of left right then and there.So the server comes over we order our beverages she was good.Now we order our entrees both of us had Prime Rib M which is more like MR to us there was soooooooo much fat on the prime rib in all the years that we had this never saw it like this,when my husband finished cutting the fat off it filled the empty baked potato skin,quite gross.
