You don't run into that combination often, especially when you're wandering around trying to remember the difference between "full sun," "partial sun," and "Texas sun," which is basically its own category. And don't get me started on the pronunciation of the some of the plants I looked at... LOL The selection at Moon Valley is incredible. If you're trying to turn your backyard into a personal paradise, this is the place. They've got everything from statement trees like the Texas Mountain Laurel (which I'm convinced is the botanical equivalent of a luxury car) to colorful shrubs and bright, cheerful plants that make your yard look like it actually has its life together. There are so many trees there, so its a gimmie they will have someone for everyone. The staff walked me through care tips, placement ideas, and even helped me load everything up without making me feel like I was about to drop a plant worth more than my truck. They made the whole experience easy, enjoyable, and honestly kind of fun. I left with great plants and zero stress, which is rare, because usually when I buy plants, I'm already apologizing to them in advance for their future. If you're anywhere near McKinney and want quality plants backed by people who truly know their stuff, Moon Valley Nursery is the place. They helped me take a big step toward making my backyard the oasis I've been imagining, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I received a call saying a plant I purchased had actually been sold to someone else and that I needed to return it. I explained that the plant had already been installed in my yard. Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, I was accused of knowingly taking a plant that wasn't mine... which makes no sense. How would any customer possibly know that? Mistakes happen, I understand that. But how a business handles those mistakes is what really matters. Being blamed for something completely out of my control, after being a loyal customer, was disappointing and frustrating. I hope they take a closer look at how they handle customer issues moving forward. This experience definitely changed my perception. I would NOT recommend .

While it is very easy to get to being in the middle of town - when you step on to the property you wouldn't even know it! It's beautiful! They all smelled so good it was hard to choose one they were all so gorgeous. We had the most special little Christmas time, rocking around our All white with Tiffany blue decorated Christmas tree, we got from the Garden Station. Anyhoo, I had written a review here, but when a business moves, even across the street, Yelp deletes all the reviews. I'm surprised to see all my old photos still posted from the old location. No matter. I come here often. I will be adding more photos bc this is my go to Nursery in the area. I have now moved back to Texas and my mom explained to me what was going on and so I called. The first time I called was on 1/18 and was told by Cyrisa that she would have the general manager call me back that day. I did not receive a call, so I call back on 1/19 and talked with Sierra and she said they needed a picture of the manufacturers tag, so I immediately emailed it. On 1/19 Sierra told me that she would have the general manager call me and I never received a call back as I was promised. On 1/24 I called and talked with Sierra again and she said they had not heard anything back from the manufacturer. I was told again that she would have the general manager call me and I do not believe he will. I proceeded to tell Sierra that if I do not receive a call that I would come over and sit in their store and proceed to tell everyone that comes n how they treat elderly people. Also this was supposed to be special order and when you look at the manufacturer tag it was made approximately one year before they purchased it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.
