I came here today as part of my birthday Sonoma Tour and it was really fun. Really charming cute…read moregardens spread out over acres and tons of pretty Zinnias and other old fashioned flowers. Lots and lots of tomato plants and sunflower plants. Lots of bees. As soon as you get there, there's a small red barn. We went straight to the barn and picked up some garden vegetables, Chinese long purple beans for 3 dollars and two eggplants and one green apple. A volunteer weighs the produce and you pay with a credit card. They had some zinnias and sunflowers for sale but an older woman got there upon opening and bought two buckets of it for 62 dollars and there were no more flowers to buy. I was there for an hour admiring the flowers and different varieties of gourds and vegetables growing. You can rent a private plot for 200 dollars and lots of elderly people were tending to their plants happily and chatted with us as we walked around. A lovely community garden beloved by the old and young. Definitely recommend a trip here and especially on Saturdays when you can get some super fresh garden produce. Cute place.

Some notable sculptures are a remarkably realistic man sitting on a bench outside the community center/library, Peter Hazel's Sockeye on a stream sculptured by rocks (very drought friendly), Freeland Tanner's New Spin take on Native American basketry overlooking the French Laundry kitchen garden, Sherry Tobin's Balance totem, Gordon Huether's "Holy" (full of holes), and Peter Hazel's Abundance, a basket of realistic-looking enormous tomatoes in front of Hurley's. Some of the sculptures are for sale. The Yountville Arts Commission has made their small town a feast for the eyes.

This place is nothing like your average wine. They are kid friendly and have animals that you can hang out with. They have lots of seating and a beautiful plants all around the property. They also have some very good wine to choose from red, white and even a rose' I for to mention they do give your littles a cute basket of treats the baskets do cost $20. They sell more than just plants. They also sell dirt and toppings; miscellaneous things such as stickers, claw clips for hair, sage to burn, and more. It's a beautiful grounds and a great tour, and would highly recommend, specially since it comes with a snack at the end. We were able to do half and half pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and the tots were crispy, crunchy and hot. Easy check-in with a welcome drink and friendly service once seated. Even in the rain, the outdoor patio with warmers was beautiful and very comfortable.

Veeder with stunning views--it's the perfect place to relax and really enjoy the moment. The wines are outstanding across the board, and the reserve pours were a real highlight. What truly sets this winery apart is the people. Alicia, the manager, was excellent--welcoming, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Jason and another top manager also stopped by, made us feel right at home, and even treated us to extra pours of their high-quality reserve wines, which was a great touch. The tour itself was beautiful and informative, but our guide talked way too much at times, which made the experience feel a bit drawn out. There also seemed to be some noticeable favoritism toward guests who came from Toronto, which was a little odd and made the tour feel less welcoming for everyone else. That said, Inglenook itself is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the little café and the museum, which reminded us of the experience at Francis Coppola Winery. The property alone is worth visiting and makes for a lovely setting. One other thing that stood out to us was the late-arrival policy. The website specifically states that guests cannot be late or they won't be able to join the tour. However, people who arrived more than 15 minutes late were still allowed to join our tour. We have no issue with accommodating late guests, but if that's the actual policy being followed, it would be better to update the website so guests aren't unnecessarily stressed about arriving on time. As for the wine... I'm still not a fan of red wine. We did, however, find some white wines we really enjoyed and ended up purchasing a few bottles to take home. Overall, Inglenook is a gorgeous property with some nice touches, but our tour experience could have been much better. We've enjoyed other Coppola winery experiences more.
