I visited this nail shop for the first time with my sister and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I noticed that all the African American customers were seated together in the back of the building, which felt uncomfortable, concerning and just wrong. On top of that, my pedicure was not done well my feet still looked rough and didn't feel properly scrubbed. When I asked if this was how they usually send customers out, the manager said yes and mentioned they don't have a way to properly remove calluses. This is hands down the worst quality of nail services I have experienced in 18 years of getting my nails done in the Seattle area. The end product was really horrible, especially for the price. The acrylic was poorly laid, resulting in oddly textured nails. Each nail was also a different shape. The polish was sloppily done with unevenness in the coating. There is NO attention to detail here and you will have to point out what needs to be corrected. I don't know if it's just lack of skill or training, but even when I pointed out the concern with my nails, the tech seemed to try to fix it, but it still turned out poorly. The gimmick here is a bad job covered up by a nice looking, clean salon with alcohol being offered. Maybe if you are drunk enough, you won't notice how awful your nails are. The upsell on services is extremely pushy. I don't want to spend my money on random products to be put in the water or slathered on my legs during a pedicure. The selling point should be a job well done. I'm willing to spend $$$$$ money, so long as the work is worth the price and that is absolutely not the case here. After leaving this salon and showing my nails to my friends, I had to go somewhere else for a polish change and to have them fix the shape of my acrylics because I have an event coming up. It was my 2nd time coming to this nail spa... it is a bit pricey (I don't mind paying if they did a good job). The reason why I came here is because they close at 7:30pm. Yesterday I arrived maybe 10min before 7pm. I requested for gel manicure and pedicure. They did a half fast job and I was overcharged. I got the classic manicure which is the cheapest ($25) + $15 for gel. Then I got the 2nd cheapest pedicure ($35) +$15 for gel. Total should've been $90 but I was charged $100+the tip I left. My right toe the nail tech redid it twice bc she had messed up (both times) yet the pedicure still looks messed up. I told her and she just wiped my toe and said "there". When I arrived, there was only one customer there, therefore it was very quiet and they had relaxing music in the background. If you do decide to come to this location I will highly suggest to get there way earlier (I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was late, however they say they close at 7:30pm so that shouldn't matter) also, make sure they are not over charging you. The owner will try and sell you up a "mani" with your set for 10% off. Don't fall for it! You'll regret it. I've always liked mani-pedis but businesses around here charge an arm and a leg. But these folks are running a 20% discount because they recently opened so I thought I could get some much needed TLC. Mah-gawd!!! I am glad I spent the money I did. I went for a organic signature spa pedicure (because why not?!). I was taken in to one of the seats and offered a drink. Alcohol is an option but don't expect a huge glass. Still the added touch was perfect. My technician did an amazing job and I was sad when it was over. But after getting a pedicure, a foot massage, a foot scrub, a foot masque, and a hot stone foot massage, what else can I ask for?! Will definitely be coming back for mani-pedis. One small thing though: the wine attracts gnats and you'll find them taking over the area. Either drink the wine and dispose of the cup or put something to seal the aroma (the vinegar and fruit smell attracts them). I really enjoyed the first two experiences I had here, which is why I decided to return. I came in on a Wednesday at 4:30p. Technicians were busy and I sat and waited. In the middle of another session, they called me up for a dip removal and I had my nails wrapped at 4:55p. It wasn't until I got up and spoke to the cashier (didn't want to interrupt the technician who was with another customer) and they then told me it would be another minute or two. At 5:25p, 30 minutes of my nails being wrapped in acetone and the technician finished in 2-3 minutes. They ended up charging me $15, with no other courtesy, or communication. Not to mention there were 4 people waiting for pedicures with their feet in the water baths who had expressions on their faces similar to how I was feeling when I left. All the technicians were still occupied. The technicians are usually great. I understand they were busy, however this was a horrible experience for me. It took me 30 mins to speak up. I would suggest asking how long you're expected to wait before sitting down at a station. read more

Sloppy nails. I got these done on Friday 10/8 evening. It's 2 days later on Sunday 10/10 afternoon. It looks like I need a fill already, because she didn't push the cuticles back and to do a clean manicure. So now it'll grow out and look even more in need of a fill after 1 week. Sloppy work to make the client have to come back more often to get them done. I thought this was gonna be a great nail salon, since it's in a big shopping center with tons of shopping traffic around. The nail technician also laughed and made of fun of the fact I was deciding on style and colors. Also, the nail technician did not tell me that it was going to be an additional, $5 for EACH nail color. She said it was going to be $5 to do the special nail coloring. And they responded with my review with questioning and not believing me saying they're going to take a "look at my nail" They didn't take ownership and say they will fix my nails. I've visited TH Nail Bar and Spa several times and I feel that their work is never consistent. During their grand opening they were offering 20% discount and I've had a much more pleasant experience inside where I didn't feel rushed. The last two times that I've visited, I left feeling ripped off. Post Covid, their prices have now increased across the board so for the premium that I'm paying, I felt as though that my money was not well spent. I always go in for Shellac pedicures and last time I paid $48 and this time I paid $55 because it included a mint mask treatment. On top of it all, the gal was rushed and she only applied two coats of gel polish which looked very pale and I had to politely request that another coat be laid down. Only after the third coating did the color really begin to shine. I do appreciate the measures they have taken to ensure that the inside of the salon is safe for everyone. Upon entering, all customers are asked to wash their hands and fill out a questionnaire on their mobile device. Temperatures are also checked and if everything is good, then service is rendered. And I do believe that the salon is well kept and very hygienic. But despite it all, I feel that their prices are way too inflated and I'm not that satisfied with their shoddy workmanship when it comes to nails being filed evenly or polish being applied uniformly. read more
