Sure it's small but it's really cozy & festive here today! My sisters wanted arts & crafts or farmers' mkt inspired gifts. So I bought fire roasted salsa & cactus flavored tortilla chips, bought some for hubby & I (chips & guac) too. From the Brothers' tent, we purchased fresh pita, habanero hummus, garlic spread, & for me-stuffed grape leaves. I was thinking, there's so much savory stuff, so I got a mango yogurt (labneh) to balance it out. Hubby got some treats for my brother's pit bull, Rocky, some Turkey jerky. He's such a good boy, I mean, Rocky. LoL. It was a wonderful day at the farmers' market!!

Somewhere in between the Korean Friendship Bell and Korea Town in Los Angeles, but not exactly right next to either. My goal was to go check out Erewhon and all the smoothies and artisanal popcorn that celebrities and food influencers rave about online, but the Torrance H-Mart was an interesting destination in itself. I had to really restrain myself from buying everything that I wanted. I ultimately bought: 1. The Hojicha Tea Black Chocolate from Japan (the brand is Meiji) 2. The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized. Southern California is so dry compared to Northern California. Ja Cho is Lithospermum Erythrorhizon root extract. 4. The Innisfree Green Tea face mask. 5. The Esfolio Volcanic Ash face mask. It's perfect for dry skin, and creates a healty glow. I asked the lady working there if the Volcanic Ash was from Jeju Island. She had no idea. I bought it anyway because it sounded interesting. 6. The Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask. I know for a fact that this clay is sourced from Jeju Island, and I've been buying this product for years. Cleans up the sporadic acne flare up fast! It's perfect for combination skin without drying skin too much. They have vegan jerky, Sriracha mayo, and Kimchee Ketchup. I can buy that at any H-Mart, I think, so I didn't buy any of that. Their customer service is usually great and friendly. They are very respectful. I can't remember all the sandwiches I've tried but I usually go for the butchers special. It has 3 different meats. I think ham, turkey and roast beef. It's like the whole farm! It's simple but it's good. I never thought the bread made a difference, but I really like the bread they use here. It's simple, soft and easy to eat. Unlike some breakfast where it's a tug of war to tear off a bite. It's not fancy. There's no panini I press, no arugula, aioli or anything like that.
