The berries were tough and tasteless and cost more than twice the amount of other stores. Do not buy berries at this stand.

I don't know know the name of the super nice gentleman who works at the Thackerberry Cart on Western in RPV, but he knows his product.

We especially love Harry's Berries and Ken's Farm Goods, but honestly there are so many great booths that it is hard to go wrong. The produce is consistently fresh, seasonal, and flavorful, and the vendors are friendly and knowledgeable. It is the kind of market where you end up discovering new favorites every time you visit. Parking does get crowded pretty quickly, so arriving early definitely helps. That said, the attached park more than makes up for it. It is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for walking around, relaxing, or enjoying your market finds afterward. Overall, this farmers market is a gem and a must visit if you are in the area. We keep coming back and it never disappoints.

There's plenty of farm stalls to peruse - you can find everything from fresh veggies, fruits, nuts, and honey. There are quite a few specialty stalls as well - from hummus to baked goods, freshly cut flowers to sharpening knives, to speciality teas and food vendors. The city holds contests here too; I think there's a best pie contest once a year This market is open rain or shine and has been a staple in Torrance for the past 40 years.

I've never seen such a huge H-Mart. The H-Marts everywhere else are mostly Korean products but…read morethis H-Mart caters to Asians from every part of Asia. Somewhere in between the Korean Friendship Bell and Korea Town in Los Angeles, but not exactly right next to either. My goal was to go check out Erewhon and all the smoothies and artisanal popcorn that celebrities and food influencers rave about online, but the Torrance H-Mart was an interesting destination in itself. I had to really restrain myself from buying everything that I wanted. I ultimately bought: 1. The Hojicha Tea Black Chocolate from Japan (the brand is Meiji) 2. The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized. Southern California is so dry compared to Northern California. Ja Cho is Lithospermum Erythrorhizon root extract. 4. The Innisfree Green Tea face mask. 5. The Esfolio Volcanic Ash face mask. It's perfect for dry skin, and creates a healty glow. I asked the lady working there if the Volcanic Ash was from Jeju Island. She had no idea. I bought it anyway because it sounded interesting. 6. The Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask. I know for a fact that this clay is sourced from Jeju Island, and I've been buying this product for years. Cleans up the sporadic acne flare up fast! It's perfect for combination skin without drying skin too much. They have vegan jerky, Sriracha mayo, and Kimchee Ketchup. I can buy that at any H-Mart, I think, so I didn't buy any of that. I wanted to explore so much more, but so much to do and so little time.

It did the job for lunch but i'm not sure i would get it again. I was able to eat it in their little food area. Parking is shared but there is plenty of it!
