I did a chocolate tasting through Groupon. It was such a unique experience! She goes over the chocolate making process and lets you sample some of the bars. Please note that it is mostly dark chocolate so if you do this tasting at night, it could affect your sleep since there is caffeine. I'm caffeine sensitive so i was WIRED lol. They have really unique flavors and it changes from time to time. I recommend checking them out!

We first discovered this chocolatier at the Torrance Farmer's Market. Unfortunately, they no longer have a stall. They previously had a shop in another part of Torrance. We were happy to discover that they now have a shop in Old Town Torrance. It's a bit unassuming and easy to pass by. It's located across the street from BofA, on the same street as Rudy's. My husband was looking for a small, edible Mother's Day gift for his Mom. The 4-bonbon box was the perfect size. We also bought 4 pieces for ourselves. The bonbons were a delight. Smooth, creamy and the flavors were subtle. Try it! Enjoy!

I went in today to redeem a chocolate tasting Groupon with my girlfriend and we had an amazing experience! Naomi served a large variety of chocolates, from chocolate bars to bon bons. They serve a series of dark chocolate, I believe 3 or 4 tiers, ranging from 100% cacao to mid 70s. A lot of the chocolates are dark chocolate, which we quite enjoy. You can taste the quality of each product they serve. She went into depth about their story and also the history of chocolate, explaining the processes of making a chocolate bar. It was quite interesting and we learned so much! She also gave us cacao bean bits to start us off and it was nice to have in between each bar as a refresher. We ended with the bon bons and the lemon meringue was a delight! We ended up buying an assortment of 4 bon bons and will surely be back for more. Overall great experience!

    So yummy !

Staffs here were so nice and helpful...Everybody was friendly! We got 12 pieces of organic strawberries chocolate dip, 12 assorted chocolate box, 100% Cocoa tint and 63% chocolate bar (on Valentine's Day) OMG!!! Strawberry dip was so yummy ... and also the assorted box . All chocolates were homemade here. Sometimes, the line was pretty long... if you know what you want, I recommend to preorder... so for sure you will get them plus it gives them a time to prepare your order in advance... so you don't have to wait too long .

This is my second time visiting Marsatta chocolate. I have to say, the chocolate is absolutely exceptional. I worked and managed a chocolatier years ago, and Marsatta is FAR more delicious and better in quality in every way. Generally, I would say that impressions of a business is important - and it truly is. My first visit was months ago during the beginning of the pandemic. I assumed that everyone was struggling during this time, so I gave the first impression of the front store a pass. Naomi was incredibly sweet and helpful and made me feel as comfortable as she could while I was there. Today I decided to go back in and get treats for my family. I walked in again to the same front store. Though the front is crowded and seems lived-in, I knew how great the chocolate was and I knew that I wouldn't get chocolate like this elsewhere, so I will absolutely continue as a customer. Naomi and Chef Jeff are very passionate about their chocolate and do their absolute best to discuss their product, especially Chef Jeff - listening to him talk about the pieces and what he was working on was awesome. My advice, as a customer and someone who truly does love the chocolate, would be to hire a front manager to organize, tidy up, and clean the area where customers will be. I would absolutely recommend stocking the chocolate so that there are more choices. There's no BAD choice of chocolate here, but I would have loved to see a more available variety. I love that this is a family-owned business, but I feel that it would benefit heavily to hire someone to help organize the front and make it more presentable for future and continued business. Chocolate and customer service - 5 stars Presentation of front store - 1 star Again, this is coming from someone who truly wants to see this business do well because of their quality of the product I've tried and supports family owned businesses. I do not know them personally at all.

The packaging alone screams luxury. The potato chips are to die for! The chocolate is not too sweet, the chips have a nice crisp and the right touch of salt. The truffels are some of the best I've ever had. I think the price for these items are quite reasonable for the quality your are given. Each bag of chips are about $18-$20. These chips are perfect for gifts or cheat day. Truly something special! The service is very good. I've had the same ladies help me every time I've visited and they are always very kind. She gave the first customer several discount cards for being Japanese and spoke kindly to her. I don't think the worker realized I understood every word. Upon our arrival, I liked the cute setup that they had to offer from the different areas within the shop and the pieces of chocolate history all throughout. So I didn't realize that, coming here, all that was served was versions of dark chocolate hot chocolate, so I was a little bummed, as I love milk chocolate but was still hoping for a sweeter taste, as I chose the lowest percentage of dark chocolate. During our time, we talked a bit to the owner, who was very sweet, and had a chance to learn more about the process and some of the products offered, which is nice to have an insight into their world. Of course, I recognize that this is a small business, and it seemed to be just the owner there, but 3 hot chocolates totaling more than $30 were really a lot more than I would've liked to pay, so I hoped it would be worth it. When we received it after a good minute, though it was just the owner working, so understandable, the hot chocolate was fine, on the smaller side, but thankfully, I ordered it with whipped cream, as it made it a little sweeter.
