Went there for dinner, a party of five (5) the restaurant was barely occupied. They tried to put us at a table for four (4) with a chair at the end of one tables, while a party of two (2) was next to us spread out at a table for four (4) using another table just for their BYOB bottle and dishes. We asked for another table and they did comply. We brought a bottle of bubbly and a bottle of red (they don't charge a corkage fee that's very nice) but it was well after they took our orders did they even bring glasses and had to be reminded. Water was not brought to the table until we asked for it and then they only brought four waters, we were five. Three of us ordered the "Fresh Rolls" as an appetizer, When the appetizers were brought to the table I was advised they had only two orders and would I like something else. I ordered crispy duck in lettuce wrap, they forgot to bring it and I had to remind them, this was after all others were done with their appetizers. When it came the "crispy duck" was nothing more than burnt duck skin & fat on lettuce...TERRIBLE! Need I continue with this review? My wife had "Seafood Madness" and for $22.00 was not even close to worth it. My pad thai was mediocre at best with not much chicken. They checked on us about 3/4 of the way through the meal and when the server asked if everything was okay, she turned and left before I could answer. She should have asked; "IS ANYTHING OKAY." This is my favorite place to eat of all time. It isn't fancy, or overly expensive. It's extremely comfortable, and has a very nice atmosphere. In addition, the lady who runs the place could be one of the nicest human beings you will meet. The food she cooks is practically art, and it's flavor is so fantastic. This is hands down my favorite Thai food and most likely my favorite place to eat out at. Every time I go anywhere else now I find myself disappointed- no one can beat their Pad See Ew! Won't go back. We ordered the duck lettuce wraps and couldn't eat them. Fried and dried out and they didn't even say fried on the menu. Then both my husband and I ordered our dishes mild which they didn't seem to care and gave us both very spicy dishes where all you could taste was the spice. Didn't enjoy it at all. read more

Thai Angel's is by far the best Thai restaurant in Westchester, and could easily compete with the top Thai restaurants in NYC. Every time I come to Mount Kisco to visit my family, we always make a point of eating out there. The menu is not your run-of-the-mill Thai food aimed at the American palate, but rather includes some very traditional dishes as well (some menu items are spicier than average). In addition, all of the ingredients used by the restaurant taste extremely fresh. The prices reflect the high quality of the food while also being very reasonable. The atmosphere is average, but the waiters and owner are incredibly polite and courteous. As of the last time we ate there about a month ago, the restaurant still did not have its liquor license, but it is very BYOB friendly. read more

Went there with the family for a Sunday night dinner based on the reviews. This is a serviceable Thai place, and given the lack of Thai in the area, probably the best. Walking in the place is like walking back into the 80's and I suspect the decor is from then. Service was good, but I would say it was standard Thai fare. I got their 'spiciest' dish which while good, if not swimming in a bit too much oil, wasn't all that spicey, and didn't look all that different from the wife's pad thai. I have come here to eat in and for take out. It's a cute, intimate restaurant with lovely decor, the food and service is always extremely good. Bring your own booze, they serve no alcoholic beverages except beer. The owner is very friendly and hands on. I'm always happy to eat here. read more

Please stop deceiving other unfortunate souls looking for Thai food in Upper Westchester. Give honest reviews. Read the reviews, figured -will give it a try, went on Friday night. As as with most new places decided to stick with the basic: spring roll, soup, beef salad, chicken Pad Thai. It was bad, no really, no joke bad. Soup tasted as unsalted dishwater with some scummy oil floating on top. Shrimp in the spring roll was reeking, beef in the salad was boiled, not grilled, and buried under mountains of burned sesame seeds and overwhelming crunchy spices that were just spicy and not flavorful. The Pad Thai was passable, but really far from good. So, no we will not go again. Will continue to search for some real Thai in upper Westchester and Putnam, and will go to Full Moon in White Plains in the meantime. PS They also have no liquor license, but allow BYOB. read more

Called at 2:58 PM and asked to place an order for General Tso's chicken lunch special for pickup. The woman told me it does not come with fried rice that I have to pay extra for that. I rebutted that The menu on their website shows that the lunch special that comes with fried rice. She then said that I have to pay the dinner price ($6 more) and doesn't come with fried rice or soup) because they stop doing lunch specials at 3 PM. I said "It is before 3 pm." This place is great! One of our favorite restaurants in Westchester! The food is always perfect every time we go and the staff is friendly and knowledgable about all the dishes. The kitchen is also open to making special requests of food not on the main menu and will accommodate any spice level (my husband likes his food super hot and he says they do not disappoint). It is byob, but they have no problems with opening beer or wine for the table. I would highly recommend this restaurant if looking for some great Thai food!! read more

You cant beat this place as a great BYOB option. The hostess is great.. affable and gracious. The food is descent..you just have to know what to order. In the case of Thai Angel's its all about the drunken noodles. The service is very good. You wont have any problem locating your waiter. Back to the BYOB.. no corkage fee, you can bring whatever you want and they will cool your wine. What better way than to have a bunch of friends hang out and try some thai food, drink wine that would cost a fortunate in a restaurant and come out paying virtually nothing. read more

amazing food! Dumplings, both pork and veggie were delish! Spring rolls nice and crisp, beef and chicken skewers were both moist and tasty and were marinated to perfection. I had the curry beef which was so tasty. The dish was swimming in a murky grey sauce which makes the dish visually unappealing but if you can get past that, it is spicy, the meat was tender and the veggies farm fresh and crisp. They forgot to exclude the eggplant as I asked and I had to go to the bar area to get my Thai beer after asking the server for it twice. This place used to BYOB but just got their liquor license, so no more BYOB. These are minor issues in my book so they got 4 stars. I will go back without a doubt. The owner was very nice. I'd love to have her over to my house for dinner. However I would not go back to her restaurant. Half the orders came totally wrong. They did remake them, rather quickly. The crispy duck was just pieces of greasy crispy sugar. The actual duck was hard to find. The noodle dishes were just mushy masses. The wine we brought (BYOB) was excellent. Great and still getting better every time! We usually order delivery in Mount Kisco and although in the past it has taken up to one hour, last night they were here in 20 minutes and the food was piping hot. Impressive for a Friday night. I love that the salad came in a separate bag and was good and cold- other restaurants deliver the salad on top of the hot food and I hate that. We ordered seafood drunken noodles, eggplant with tofu extra spicy, mango salad and pineapple vegetable fried rice. The food is amazing and we had great service (granted, we were there for lunch and the restaurant wasn't crowded). Crab Rangoon is awesome, so is the Roti. This place is amazing. We've eaten Thai food at a lot of places (Boston, NYC, San Francisco, Alaska), and been to Bangkok, and this food is spot-on. The spicy stir-fry dishes are generally better than the curries: try Basil Chicken, Wild Boar Peppercorn Pork (with raw green peppercorns!), and Mango salad or green papaya salad.
