This place is excellent. We cross multiple town lines to come here but it's worth it. So few places use top quality ingredients have excellent chef level flavor on interesting food like this. It cannot be beat and I love that. It's fast casual because it is so much more convenient in many situations. Favorite items are the crispy chicken sandwich, which is superb as as well as the ribs which are perfectly marinated and the soups are great too. My children love the steak skewers. I come here as often as I can. I wish there was one closer to me would also be great for Ordering in when you have another family over instead of pizza. I stopped here for a quick dinner before heading to the movies and it was pretty busy especially with online orders which was great! It's very chic, nice and clean on the inside and the guy at the counter was super helpful. I started with the chicken wontons which were soooo good, had a nice strong ginger and garlic sauce which was so beautifully flavorful. I got the veggie based pho since the beef broth had fish sauce in it (I have an aversion to any type of seafood) so the broth itself lacked some flavor which is to be expected but the beef was nice and thinly sliced, the vermicelli was great and the sauces were really good too. It was also served HOT which really cleared my sinuses and felt very refreshing. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back! Was excited to have takeout from here this evening. Food wasn't ready at estimated time though not crowded at all. The employees were hanging out at the front and told me the food would be ready in 3 minutes. After a 10 minute wait the food came out. Was disappointed when I got home and the egg meatloaf I paid for was not included. Pork chop was okay though. So many people doing nothing and they can't get the order right. Stopped by for lunch at this newish restaurant when I was in the area. The vermicelli was the perfect consistency and the pork skewers were tender and flavorful. I had the pandan chiffon cake for dessert which was light, not too sweet and had a subtle flavor. The owner stopped by to chat and explain how she sourced the high quality ingredients. Finally, high-quality Vietnamese food in Rye! I had the Banh Mi Sandwich, with the proper cold cuts. If you are familiar with this sandwich, Saigon Table sells a high-end version of it, and it is awesome. Authentic bread and ham, with a perfect mix of pate, jalapeño and cilantro. I'm so happy we have a Vietnamese joint in Rye. I am always craving great pho, summer rolls, vermicelli rice noodles and Vietnamese iced coffee. This place has it all! It's authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Not high in sodium. Everything tastes fresh -- they even freshly squeezed lime juice for their margaritas. Yes! They have a bar and make great drinks. So we decided to stop in to Saigon table to see how it compares to the five star restaurant known as Phô Nha Trang in Fairfield, Connecticut... walking in to the restaurant, it is very clean and trendy ambience.... The seating is a sparse, but ample, given that it is a takeout and fast food takeout place type of atmosphere. The owner was very nice as she came around to seeking feedback to serve the customer better... great attitude to have considering that she's just coming into town. I had the $23 chicken salad ... very tasty, but the price is a little high given that I'm eating shredded chicken, cabbage, red onion, and shredded peanuts with some fish sauce... combined ingredients couldn't cost more than two dollars to the restaurant ... My girl had Pho Bo and the shrimp, summer rolls, which she orders up in Fairfield... she stated that the size was sufficient and the noodles were fine, but that the broth was very bland and there was very little beef.... The shrimp Summer rolls are made fresh with lettuce, shrimp, cilantro, mint, cucumber and vermicelli, with a peanut sauce ....Very straightforward, so was as expected. However, again, the price is high. Although I have read some of the other reviews, and the owner has stated afterwards that the customer should have made her aware of the Complaint or deficiencies....and that she would have corrected the concern, it's hard to critique someone as you're having the meal. The owner could have invited the public in for one night where all the food was served so that she gained some insight as to what people like about it and what they thought could be improved... This way they can fill the place and ask for reviews or honest opinions on what should stay as it is and what should be enhanced or changed. Overall, I would invite everyone to come and check out the food and vibe, and introduce themselves to the owner who is very inviting and has a great disposition, but bring your checkbook. read more
