New location by shell second floor. My husband and I got the couples massage and we added on the cupping. I wish we did the 90 min massage. 1 hour was not long enough lol. I feel relaxed and refreshed. At the end they made us this sweet ginger tea, water, and gave us a few candies. I don't usually like ginger but the tea was so good. This was such an intentional massage, and I am so thankful for his healing touch. When I initially walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. As I was filling out my paper work he asked what my purpose was for the massage, and I told him I was very stressed. During the massage he was very careful, and made sure I felt comfortable. He really focused on the areas that I told him to. His attention to detail was spot on. Everything was amazing about this massage. My only complaint is that I didn't get two hours. I went for an hour and a half. After, he helped me pick out an herbal compression that I could use at home to address my stress. Lastly, he served me nice hot ginger tea and water. If I could give a half star, this review would be 4.5 instead of 5, but I felt it was more than a 4 lol. First off, it's in Sea Country in Waianae. I was a bit nervous since it was a house. Due to covid, she now operates out of her home. The home is nice, set up for business when you arrive. You take your slippers off and leave them outside (rightfully, it's her house), sanitize your hands, then she takes your temperature. Go in to a small waiting room and fill out paperwork. She then took me into one of the "rooms" which was in the living room, same room as the waiting room. It was basically curtains lol. THIS is the reason I would deduct half a star. It was noisy. I was RIGHT NEXT to the kitchen where there was a lot of clanking and talking, then when other customers left or arrived, I could hear them. So not the most relaxing as you can imagine lol. I found Thai Aroma Massage Therapy through yelp! Keep in mind that there is another Thai Massage place with a similar name only a few blocks away. I haven't tried the other place, but this one had better reviews which is why I chose it. They do online scheduling which I LOVE, and offer a 10% discount if you check in on Yelp or Facebook. Thai Aroma Massage is located in the Mehana Village in Kapolei. It's only a few minutes away from the new Kamakana Ali'i mall. Google Maps will lead you there, and there is signage, though if you're unfamiliar with the area it can be a little confusing as everything in the area kind of looks the same--so drive slowly when you're getting near. It looks like a house from the outside. Ample street parking is available directly in front. It's very clean inside, and they offer you mini bottled water or tea before and after your appointment. DO make sure you leave enough time BEFORE your appointment to account for (a) getting lost / finding parking (b) there is some short paperwork to fill out. Basically, don't show up on time. Show up early, and definitely don't show up late. We opted for the 1.5 hour couples massage. The couples massage room is up a flight of stairs. It smells so amazing there (I would hope so, given the name). For the couples massage they did Thai massage with a lot of oils! My massage was perfect. Probably the best massage I've had. If I could afford to come here every month, I would! I can't though, but I'll definitely be back eventually (lol). read more

They've switched locations recently and are now in a residential area, however, their level of service has not changed. I did the Ocean Breeze massage which consists of aroma therapy and an exfoliating massage. It's worth every penny. Their oils are seasonal and they have over 25 unique scents to choose from. At the end of your massage, you get to take home the remaining oil which was a fantastic treat. Path is very sweet and gives the MOST AMAZING MASSAGE! I've had the combination massage, Thai Aroma massage, hot stone --all are very good. She and her staff are all wonderful and professional. This recent weekend I decided to use the Christmas gift from my husband and signed up for the Sweet Ocean Breeze package. After the holidays, it was time for some self-care. And there's no better way than getting a full body scrub followed by Thai massage. Since this was my first time trying the scrub, she explained to me what she was doing. The whole experience was sooo relaxing. I'm not quite sure what scent she used for the scrub-- all I know is it was RELAXATION OVERLOAD! My skin felt so soft after. Then came the massage. Path always seems to know where my knots are. She massaged out all my sore spots (neck/ shoulders). Also did some stretching and pulling. Then, as usual at the end of the session there's a cup of hot ginger tea and bottle of water waiting at the reception area. Very important to rehydrate after getting a massage.
