I visited with my entire family for massages, and everyone left with a smile on their face. The space was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff was accommodating with our schedule and took the time to tailor each massage to our specific requests and needs. Pat did my massage, and it was one of the best firm massages I've ever had. She was fantastic, and I will definitely request her again the next time I visit. I will be back to see her! The only thing that kept me from giving a full five stars was that the price quoted to me on the phone was different from the price when we arrived. It wasn't a huge difference, but I don't love surprises when it comes to pricing. Greater honesty around that would have made the experience perfect. My last two massages here were terrible. -male massage therapist was sitting on the massage bed while he was massaging me. Like next to my legs. It was very unprofessional. I guess he was tired of standing up. This time my I told my therapist I had sore traps and didn't want my legs massaged, if she could just focus on that area and my upper body. - She ignored my request, she didn't do the area I told her I had pain in at all, instead started doing my legs. As she was doing my legs I asked her nicely again and she told me to just relax! Which was so rude. - She just did pressure points and used her weight on me the entire time, didn't really do massaging. It didn't feel good at all. - I had cupping as well, I could tell she didn't know what she was doing, the cups kept falling off of me on to the floor. Then she asked me where she should put them on my back. Like I was supposed to know. Will not be returning. I was laying there wanting this massage to be over. read more

I guess in Hawaii things are a little different...by this I mean soooo many businesses in neighborhoods. We drove past areas that we thought the massage place would be, and gps took us into this housing area, and I guess a lot of people use homes or part of their homes to run businesses, which we've seen before, just not so many in one spot. Had a 60min couples massage appointment made the day before returning to the island from a 2 week long vacation to Japan and really needed a massage. The online reservation was simple and easy to do, they texted me date and time confirmation. Upon returning to the islands, we had so much delays that we weren't going to be able to make our 1:00pm appointment. Despite that, they were able to reschedule our booking for 2:00pm! We arrived on time and Eric and Anna were able to service us and perform our massages. Updating my review after about 3 years! Being a Mama to a student athlete and a raging toddler dinosaur, I've been TENSE! Mentally and physically. So my fiance surprised me and booked me a 90 minute combination deep tissue massage and it was so worth it! Location still remains in a residential area with street parking available. Ring Camera is posted on the outside but there's a sign on the door to take off your footwear and walk straight up to the second floor. Upon arriving for my 1030am appointment, no one was at the reception desk so I just sat down on 1 of the 2 couches that were free. They did have complimentary water you could help yourself to with small paper cups. Compared to other massage spas, this location isn't as "LUX" with ammenities, changing facilities, however for the location and basic need of the massage itself it's great. I arrived 12 minutes before my appointment time. 4 min away from my time and a staff member saw me and confirmed my appointment to tell me my room wasn't ready yet but asked if I needed to go to the bathroom which was on the 3rd floor. 5 minutes after my appointment time my massage therapist Jasmine saw me and apologized for the delay. Her current client's massage appointment ran late because she "needed" it. Her 60 min turned into a 90 min but after seeing her walk out I could understand why. But it seemed like she enjoyed it so much she booked herself and her husband a couples massage for the following week! At that point, I didn't mind the delay and knew Jasmine would be awesome. Right away after the client left I was walked to my room. Room was quiet and low lighted for peacefulness, linens were clean, and I was instructed to put all my belongings and clothes into the empty basket near my massage table. Jasmine's touch and massage was perfect for my pains. From head to toe she applied great, deep pressure. I left feeling so "loose" and relaxed. Something my body hasn't been in awhile from all the tension from the kids and constantly carrying my toddler. Jasmine was so nice, welcoming, and a massage therapist I'd recommend. Side note, I can handle deep massages and she's the one for you if needed. Cash payment you do get a $10 discount, but they do have a credit card option as well. ATM is available on site if needed. Compared to the other reviews, I was never pressured to pay cash so I guess the experience and payment event really depends on who is helping you. Every year for my sister and I's birthday, no matter where we travel to - Florida, DR, Hawaii, etc. we always do some kind of spa/massage day. This time, for my sister's birthday, she, our mom and I tried this place about 15 minutes from the Ko'Olina resorts. My sister found this, and we researched where we were staying at Aulani Disney, Four Seasons and Marriott Beach Club. Magnolia was half the price for a 90-min massage. While it may not be as fancy as the hotels, it made up for the quality of the massage, not to mention price. It was $120, but if you pay in cash, it's $10 off. The place is tucked in a neighborhood with a few shops. It looks like a duplex or condo, and the massage therapists also live there. Since it's also a home, there's a shoe cubby outside the door to place your shoes before walking in upstairs to check in. The massage rooms and bathroom are on the 3rd floor. My massage therapist, Rain, was careful when I told her I bruised the side of my left knee going down the water slide that day. She was thorough and did some stretching. I don't think I've had a more thorough massage. Maybe because they're Thai, and I haven't had a true Thai massage. I'm more of a light to medium pressure person to just relax. While she found my tension areas, they hurt and kinda tickled me. Lol. I didn't realize I was that tight on my lats. Sheesh. She explained that neck and shoulder tightness can stem from that area. They were so friendly, and we enjoyed our massage that evening. Dina, who was my sister's massage therapist, told us to come back before we left the island. I wish! Service was professional and relaxing when you're greeted at the front desk. We got the couple 1 hr massage and we both enjoyed it. They were very skilled and we felt a lot better afterwards. A few things that could be an issue is the parking. The business is located in a townhouse in residential area. We were lucky to find some curb space for parking but if you get unlucky you may have to park farther away and walk to the entrance. Also since it is located within a townhouse space can be kind of small. We bumped into other customers walking into the entrance while trying to get to our room where the message was going to take place. Nothing major but just wanted to take note. I found this massage school with licensed therapists with tons of experience for a reasonable rate. (Under 100 dollars but quite a bit). I had Tess and then Pat massage me and it was great. They both helped me so much after hiking and snorkeling and being super physically active in my 50s. It is located about 13 min from the Ko Olina resort area. I am a massage snob as I have been getting them for 30 years to help with autoimmune issues. This is a hidden gem with affordable amazing massages. There are some guest parking stalls in the parking area, but when I went, it was easier to parallel parking on the street in front of the building. When I was paying, they suggested that I might want to try cupping to help with my muscle spasms--something I will consider for the future. I love a good spa day on my "self-care" days so I've been to several different ones around the neighborhood including the other one across the street from them. I usually go to the other place (it's a Thai massage place) across from them but I wondered about this one and if it was better. So I booked an appointment with a friend. They close at 9pm Thursdays-Sundays and we booked a 60 min massage for 2 at 8pm. (Btw, their ring doorbell does not work (we literally pressed it 5x before realizing it doesn't actually ring, so just take off your shoes and go in...kinda awkward just walking in but I can deal with that). Maybe it's because we booked late, but from the moment we stepped in the lady (didn't get her name) was annoyed. She wasn't very welcoming and rushed us telling us they close at 9. Okay.. As for the massage, it was relaxing but felt a little rushed. Their place is also very nice, especially the room one with the hot tub! I felt good after the massage that night, but now my shoulders seem to be hurting a little this morning--this could be because it's healing maybe? I don't know, but I found that odd and don't enjoy it. I was surprised to see that they also offer facials/products and may be open to try one and do a review on that. I love this place! I'm so glad I found a good massage spot in Kapolei. No more driving to town. The staff here are super nice and the rooms are nice, quiet and clean. I booked a last minute massage and they took me to the couples room with the soaking tub. I definitely have to come back to try this! I've been here a couple times and the staff are very professional. I've been to a number to Thai massage places where they would text or talk on their phones mid massage. The massage menu has various choices (lomi, Thai, etc) but they really just ask if you want a relaxing or deep tissue/Thai. The prices are very reasonable here also. The only down side I've experienced is they can use so much massage oil! And they don't wipe it all off, so I left a couple times feeling like an oil slick...not good if you aren't going straight home to shower. But with the quality I think I can deal with it. read more

Magnolia Massage & Spa is 3 levels, tastefully decorated. Beautiful, clean, calm atmosphere. We were greeted and checked in by the owner, Laura. Very sweet soft spoken, she went above and beyond to ensure all guest was comfortable and satisfied. Laura was also our photographer. No one had any complaints. We each chose our individual massage, instead of my normal swedish massage I chose the Magnolia Signature. My masseuse was Arlene. We here for a massage after going a long time without one. The business is in a quiet area that looks like housing converted into some businesses (so no you aren't lost when driving around what looks like a development). They greet you and you leave your slippers (flip flops) or other footwear outside and they spray hand sanitizer on your hands and walk you up stairs to check you in. After telling them what type of massage you want today they have you sign a paper (ensure to tell them any health issues or such now) and they walk you upstairs to a room. There they leave you alone to get ready and they come back in for a massage. They ask again what you wanted and any issues or areas to foo us on and how long your massage is for. This was the first time I had a massage where they walk on you and I almost immediately signed up for another massage. It really helped to loosen my muscles and knots prior to them using their hands and stretching me. I was so relaxed and felt the knots going away. I was blown away at the price (in a good way).
