I purchased a Groupon for a massage at this studio and had a mixed experience overall. When I first booked my appointment, it was canceled the day prior because they said no therapist was available. I had already rearranged my schedule for a 4:30pm appointment, so that was disappointing. They offered to move me to 6:30pm, but I wasn't able to adjust my schedule again. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, I presented my Groupon voucher to pay. This is where things became uncomfortable. The massage therapist appeared visibly upset and walked away, and the owner returned to inform me that not all therapists accept Groupon clients. I was told I should have mentioned the Groupon when booking. While I understand policies are important, this was not communicated clearly beforehand, and the way it was delivered felt abrupt and somewhat scolding. As for the massage itself, it was okay but not exceptional. There was a noticeable language barrier, and I was not asked what type of massage I preferred or what areas needed focus. At times, the pressure felt inconsistent -- almost as if there wasn't a clear plan of muscle work being done. Overall, I think clearer communication would greatly improve the client experience, especially regarding Groupon policies. The atmosphere at the end felt tense and uncomfortable, which left me with not-so-great vibes. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't somewhere I'd choose to return to. read more

So glad I stumbled across this place online. It's just a quick 5 minute walk away from my sister's place and I had just ran the Hapalua half marathon and was in desperate need of a quick massage. I've been going to Paradise Massage for a while now, love that they open late and are almost always available to squeeze me in when I'm in dire need of loosening the knots on my poor back. My go to person is Ann, she doesn't speak much English or understand but if I use hand gestures and tell her "pain", she will go straight to the areas and use a good, firm pressure on loosening what she can in the hour that I'm there. I hold a lot of stress in my shoulders and can get pretty tight, she always does an amazing job of loosening my knots. You can call or text the number or make an appointment online. I called and they texted back. I was able to get an appointment right away for a couple's massage. Price: The price is already pretty good at $160 for a couples massage. Want to save more? Pay with cash. Ambience: So this place is located in a neighborhood. They transformed a townhome into multiple spa areas. While some are sectioned off with curtains, they still do a pretty good job keeping it private, quiet and calm for a massage. When we first came, they offered cupping for $10 as an add on. We did it and it was amazing. It was such a great massage and it took out every kink I had. So if you don't mind the cupping bruises, you should definitely try it. This visit we just got the regular couple's massage. It was still amazing. I asked if they could focus on my back and they did just that. I still had a full body, but I felt so happy they concentrated more on my back, which was where all my stress has been. To my surprise, we also had a hot stone and stretching! I was like..what!?? This is included!? Yes please! Overall, My hubs and I enjoyed both our visits here. She is incredible. Strong, skilled, intuitive, and consistent every time. I come 1-2× a month now and it's become essential self-care. I'm a little confused by the amount of 5 star ratings of this place. I discovered this spa through a Groupon offer and decided to call ahead to confirm availability for a specific date before purchasing the $250 deal, which included a 1.5-hour couples massage with a 30-minute body scrub. When I inquired, the lady informed me that they couldn't accommodate appointments for Groupon purchases. However, she offered to match the Groupon price if I booked directly, allowing us to secure a time slot. I chose to pay in cash for a flat rate of $250 and made the appointment. The body scrub experience was less than satisfying. Although you are provided with hand towels for modesty, the scrub itself felt more like a gentle application rather than an effective exfoliation. Having previously enjoyed a much better scrub at Aveda Spa in Ala Moana, I found this one lacking A LOT. There isn't enough pressure nor is the scrub rough enough. After the scrub, we rinsed off in the shower but continued to feel uncomfortably oily, as there were no scrubbing tools provided, just basic shampoo and body wash. We were also conscious of the time, as lingering in the shower would cut into our massage session, leaving us both feeling less than clean. The 1.5-hour massage was mediocre at best. While my therapist started strong with good pressure on my back, that intensity faded as she moved to other areas. The lack of variety in techniques--primarily using elbows and forearms without any kneading or finger pressure--was disappointing. My partner's therapist was particularly rough, making it difficult for him to relax, and he left feeling sore. Although this was intended as a surprise for my partner, I wouldn't recommend this spa for future visits. I chose this business to experience a body scrub with my partner, but I won't be returning. If you're in search of an exceptional massage, there are certainly better options available. read more

I got a combo massage and it was well worth it. I didn't even know that certain parts of my body were sore which was the area that was mainly focused on. Couples massage for our Anniversary! This was everything we wanted in a massage, WOW. The masseuses were very professional and let us relax, as much as I love to talk and get to know people, the last thing I want is to chat during my massage! They went IN on a deep massage and recommended cupping, something both my husband and I hadn't tried yet. I made a same day appointment and the 60 minute deep tissue massage was great. I don't remember my masseuse's name because it's been a while since I had my massage. Reasons for minus three stars: - 2 stars: The receptionist was extremely rude, not just to me but also the masseuse. No greeting upon entering and before paying I asked about the first time special I saw on their website, she seemed agitated. I paid full price just to avoid dealing with her bad attitude. -1 star: It's located in a town home so massages are conducted in bedrooms. Got a Groupon for a couples massage for 120 min. They were pretty booked up for same day massages so we had to plan it out a few days in advance, but locked it in for a 730 pm massage, despite some difficulties when calling for the appt. Whomever was working the phone on Friday wasn't very cooperative and friendly. We got there and were greeted and shown to the room, and they indicated we had a body scrub and a massage in lieu of the 120 min massage. We discussed a little and ultimately It was fine, we went with that and it was great. Amy massaged me and Coco massaged my fiancée. These two ladies had solid skills and hit all the tucked away knots. Even added on cupping for us both and were very accommodating. Been seeing favorable posts on my newsfeed so I booked a body scrub + 60 min massage. I went a little early due to being unfamiliar with this massive new development near Kroc Center. This area was so new, GPS wasn't accurate before but now there is a new access road. Google Maps has been updated and it was precise. The building is multi-use much like many townhouses coming up in Kapolei. Business on the bottom and residence above. I found guest parking inside the complex but I saw other people park on the street. I personally wouldn't park on the street as it looked like a bike path. I entered the business from the front but I believe there is a back way out, not sure. You ring the door bell and greeted bt friendly staff. I got the combination massage which seems to be thai-shiatsu with hot stones. First I got exfoliated head to toe for 30 minutes and was given a towel wrap to wear while I showered off down the hall. Then I got a very thorough massage perfect pressure. There are 3 massage rooms: 2 couples rooms and 1 single. 70% of their business is couples. They also do outcalls including bridal parties etc. I am totally relaxed and my skin feels soft. Highly recommend this place. read more

Saw a coupon on Groupon, so I tried them out. Got the 70-minute full body and feet massage with hot stones. When I first got there, I couldn't find the place. It is in a residential spot (townhouse), not a retail area. If you're in the parking lot, you can look for a small sign outside with their name on it. If you come in this way, give them a call when you get to the door and someone will let you in. If you come in from the main road side, I believe they have a "front door" that you can just walk in through. The massage itself was great! The lady I had was great - she used a great amount of pressure and communicated throughout to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely come back again for another massage. There was one weird moment though where she had to leave in the middle of the massage to help someone that came in through the front door to buy a gift certificate. I think there was another worker that was trying to help the customer, but couldn't figure it out. It didn't affect my total time for my massage, but it was definitely weird to have her leave right in the middle for a little bit. read more
