We came in at a reasonable 7pm on a Monday for my birthday dinner (party of 4). We were sat quickly, and brought water right away. Unfortunately, this was the only good part about this restaurant. 3/4 of us are Vegan, but always find it really easy to order as most Thai restaurants have Tofu. I asked for Pad See Eew to be made with Tofu and the sauce be made with no fish or oyster sauce. This is very easily done and has never been an issue. I was simply asking for my meal to be vegetarian. Well, apparently a group of 15 had just arrived and due to this, the waitress told me they wouldn't do it. She said my only option was for no sauce and salt only. My sister then chimed in and asked what was Vegetarian, and we were then told veggies with rice is all they could make as they were too busy. At this point, she saw we were upset and went to the back to ask the cooks. She came back quickly to tell us they said no. They were simply too busy. So at this point we decided to get elsewhere as we were going to have a sit down meal to celebrate a birthday and only get to have steamed veggies with rice. Been here twice. First time was horrible. Service person was rude and just generally in a rotten mood. She was rushing for my order and I apologize and told her it's my first time and had to look at the menu. I ordered $30 worth of food for myself while my mother ordered the lunch special. I'm pretty sure she gave me people's left over Thai tea after I asked her if I could please change my Coke to the tea. At first she tells me I had to be charged for both, but I told her I have not even touched the Coke yet. She then went back and rushed back with an already mixed tea, instead of how they normally bring it unmixed. What the hell does a Coke cost them .20 cents? Ridiculous! If it's not for my mother liking the food, I would not have returned a 2nd time. I gave 2 stars because the service people the 2nd time were pleasant and courteous. read more

This is the best Thai food in the area (from Fontana to Beaumont) by far. My wife and I try other places, but nothing is as good. Most Thai food restaurants taste like the meat is reheated, not here. Some dishes may not be their specialty, but we go with spring rolls, pad Thai, orange chicken, chow mein, or one of the beef dishes and it is always great. read more

I was dissapointed the last time I ordered the vegetable curry because when i got home it tasted fishy. When I called and asked they said they use fish sauce. I told them i was vegan and they said I vould order the curry so if you are vegetarian or vegan they don't tell you they use fish sauce. Maybe this is something you should already know. read more

Very good Thai food in a long time. Found this place quite by chance, after a visit to Oak Glen. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality if the food. The Crab fired rice DID have real crab meat, and the roasted duck and yellow curry dishes were adequately spicy. Most of the other Thai places I've tried always disappoint me with the over powering sweet taste. The Ambiance is pleasant, with a thoughtfully decorated and clean interior. Highly recommend the Mango-sticky rice dessert. This location is an hour from where I live. Yesterday on Mother's Day we did take the drive just for some Good Thai food and it sure was worth the drive. read more

Love this place! I have been here a couple times now and each time my food has been amazing. I normally get the tom ka or tom yum soups or any of their curries. Their lunch special has great prices so I normally do the red or green curry with chicken and it comes out to be around 8$. The pad Thai is also yummy. OMG! How did I not know about this place?! After trying Thai restaurants around Beaumont and Banning and them all being sub par, I found this little gem on Yelp. Had dinner here a few days ago, and it's been over 6 months since last time. The menu had completely changed and many items from before were no longer available. We ordered dinner and appetizers. Requested that they be spicy, and it was as if they forgot any seasoning whatsoever. I also tried to order a basic dinner, could not find it in the "new" confusing menu. This reminds me of a Denny's menu, very busy and cheap looking. Either way, we will no longer eat here. In the past it was one of the best places to eat, now, I would not recommend it. Had a fantastic lunch at Thai Chili this afternoon. The chicken satay was so flavorful yet not greasy or heavy. Peanut sauce and cucumber/onion served along with it just added to the yum. We had a wonderful soup of the day along with a delicious dressing on our salads before our meal. I had the Panang curry and hubster had the Kapow with chicken. So delicious. We accompanied these dishes with an ice tea and Sapporo each. Service was welcoming and gracious, as always. This place is a gem. read more

8:45pm, March 14..........Hungry and needing a little sustenance, we drove to a newly established Chinese restaurant and quickly slipped through the front doors as the OPEN sign dimmed to black. "We close in 15 minutes", Says he. "Take-out only". REALLY! Our previous 5 star experience two weeks previous was quickly diluted to .5 stars in moments. Disgusted and quite put out, we drove down the street no more than a block and we saw an OPEN sign.........YES........THAI CHILI. Maybe they will stay open as long as their sign says they are open. 9PM. Not only did they serve us, but, did not rush us either. The tea was hot and fresh, the soup was hot and fresh, the cashew chicken was hot and fresh, the salad was cold and fresh, and the service was refreshing. Not only did our server warm up some coconut sticky rice to go, but added, that lunch is a very good value and that we should come back. Thank you for the good food and we will certainly be back. For my first experience with Thai food this was a home run. Down from Las Vegas for my mothers birthday we had a group of over 20 people. The service was great, there were a lot of people so I'm thinking it took a little more time to get the orders out but the wait was reasonable. Every order was perfect. I've seen a lot of orders get screwed up with a large group but that didn't happen here. The food was delicious. I had the roast duck red curry. My first experience with duck and red curry it was a great dish and very filling. The waitress was helpful with food allergy information and very accommodating. The drinks were kept full throughout the meal as well. I can't find a thing to complain about. I hope I can find somewhere comparable in Vegas cause I'm a fan of Thai food now. read more

I have been looking for a new good Thai place. I am generally disappointed with the one's near me: too expensive for what you get (Mu), customer service lacking (Thai House and Benjarong), they tried to kill me with peanut cross contamination (Thai place in GT), or they closed (Ranu). Sure, there are great places in LA and Long Beach (Phucket) but that's a long drive. So a friend lead me to Thai Chili. 20 minutes away but so worth the drive. One of the servers here I know from Ranu and Mu so it was a cool reunion. The food is great and actually tastes like it should. I had red curry medium and only complaint was my mouth was on fire. So beware anyone who is shy on heat-filled dishes. The thinly sliced green veggies are not bell peppers, they're jalapeños. Food is good, decor is nice, and they actually serve beer. Good locale with a friendly staff. I had a spicy rice noodle dish with basil, "Kee Mow". The basil flavor was intense, really good. We came on a Saturday night around 5. The place was full, a testament to the quality and flavors. The only complaint was my dish was a little too greasy. I asked if they could accommodate making this stir fry dish with water instead and was told no. That being said, they are willing to do the dish with as little oil as possible. It was explained that the noodles are already oily. I'll know better for next time. Not their fault, my ignorance. I would recommend to you all to give this place a try. read more
