Every time I visit Oyster Cult, I HAVE to get the Butter Bomb plate of oysters. The steaks and fish were also delightful, truly nothing is a miss on that menu. Not sure if the beignets are seasonal, but they are a must!!

Have passed this place multiple times but finally decided to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice interior and cozy little restaurant with the bar top.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Was greeted from the get go. Great conversation. Great recommendations. Tried basically 1 of everything lol. Everything was delicious and super fresh! Definitely 10/10

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Redlands Oyster Cult is a whole mood...just enough semi-Parisian sexiness to make you forget you're still in the Inland Empire. It's intimate, with a moody, underground vibe. I loooooove it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is great for date night and girls' night -- and I've tested both scenarios.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My hubby and I posted up with cocktails and apps one night; he went full commitment on the oysters, while I inhaled anchovy toast and some delicious Chilean sea bass. DELISH. Came back with the girls a few months later and somehow the cocktails hit harder, the steak frites tasted stellar, and the gossip flowed freely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Redlands Oyster Cult is not really here for casual pop-ins -- it's for lingering, flirting with your drink, and pretending you're somewhere much cooler for the night. Go. Sit. Sip. Repeat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Delicious!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small spot in downtown Redlands that everyone should check out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect girls night or date spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we ordered was perfectly made. From the dirty martini to the oysters and even the tacos. Highly recommended!! This is always on our list of spots to hit.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place in the IE, a bit pricey and limited seating/space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fun and attentive and the food was pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely more of a quaint fancier date night or business dinner spot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chipotle Shrimp Linguini! A must try. So flavorful! The portion was quite generous as well. By far one of the best pastas I've ever had! It was delicious [[HIGHLIGHT]]the bar was super cute as well. Had a really cool vibe to it. Very intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very rude and impolite manager, try to avoid this restaurant and him specially.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came here with three people, and what happened was unbelievable. When we walked in, one of the staff members decided where he thought we should sit. When we politely asked to sit at another table, he instantly said, "No, you can't sit there." I calmly asked why, and instead of explaining, he said, "I don't like your attitude -- you can leave the restaurant." I was shocked. I asked to speak with the manager, and he arrogantly said, "I am the manager." His tone was disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. I wasn't raising my voice or being rude at all -- I was simply asking a question. No one else in the restaurant wanted to give his name, and they all just stood there quietly while he kicked us out for absolutely no reason. I have never been treated so badly at any restaurant. If this is how management behaves, it says everything about this place. Avoid Redlands OysterCult at all costs. The staff has zero respect for customers, and the so-called manager should not be allowed to deal with people. I'll be including his photo here so others know exactly who treated us like this.

ROC is a great place for seafood in Redlands. The staff was decent, though super slammed, and definitely favored the parties ordering drinks. I really enjoyed my food and the atmosphere is spot-on. The only downside is this place is so popular, you can be in for a long wait. We were lucky and only had to wait 15 minutes. I'll definitely come back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]R-O-C is a whole vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From the finely crafted cocktails (chem trails!!), to their fresh oysters, you can always count on a good time. The owner is such a nice guy, super friendly and welcoming. The staff always recognize my boyfriend and I and have the best recommendations. The steak frites is my favorite go-to. The daily cocktail special is always incredible and worth the adventure. I look forward to going here we will continue to make the trek from Irvine to support this business. You can really tell they care and take pride in what they do!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place when walking in is SUPER SMALL![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But don't let that discourage you! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe and ambiance is amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers are super attentive and so nice! We came for our 21 anniversary and absolutely loved it! This place didn't disappoint! Pricing is decent too!!!

An overdue draft: I've eaten here so many times now and have failed to document all of the oysters that I like. Shame on me. I'll be more on top of it now. Let's just say that Redlands Oyster Cult (ROC) always serves what's fresh for the season so it's best to stop by every once in a while to try them all. My recent visit, Hammersley was my favorite compared to north bays and the summers. I've honestly tried almost everything on the menu here from both the regular menu and the changing menu. They'll have rotating specials for entrees and drinks (bc this place stays fun and updated). Food doesn't disappoint! But truth is I'm usually here for the oysters and drinks- they're S tier. Customer service top notch. I always run into John (bartender), Jesus & Emmanuel here. The three of them always attentive and welcoming. All in all ROC= a Redlands must.

Interesting dinner experience with room for improvement! Came here on a busy weekend night, and the check in process was confusing. There is no formal put-your-name down or phone number to hold your place in line. You tell an employee, who has no name tag, that you're waiting and he recommends you wait by the bar (standing on the side) until he calls you. There is no system of knowing who arrived first though, so I saw some parties get seated before us who arrived afterwards. They also don't take reservations. I found that confusing, but we eventually sat down. Food was really good and high quality, but the prices were so high! Cocktail shrimp and oysters were fresh and delicious and cold, but the fish tacos were lackluster and a big heavy and greasy. The crab cakes were delicious. There was a special cocktail on the board called moon landing, and apparently it's a joke? It doesn't exist, which is the restaurant's joke of saying the moon landing didn't happen. Overall there aren't a lot of places here to choose from, and the food was good, but it was way overpriced in my opinion.

What are the hours? And do they take reservations?

Hours are 5pm - 10pm. They do not take reservations.

    Is there a happy hour?

I'm not sure. But if they don't, the Copehouse is a bar across the alley from them and they do have a happy hour from 3-6pm and their specialty cocktails are pretty amazing.

    Where is the show menue?

If you're asking to see their menu, I updated the photos on my review to include the food and drink menus at the time I went, which you can see on the link below. Keep in mind, the menu is probably subject to change, especially in regards to the…

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

It's a perfect place for a date or a night out with friends or family. The focal point of the main dining room is the bar, which faces the restaurant's entrance. Meticulously designed with a nostalgic feel, the bar features blonde wood shelves holding hundreds of vinyl records, carefully curated design objects, and a DJ booth neatly tucked into a corner next to the bar. The beer taps are elegantly minimalist, and every detail in the bar--for example, the old-fashioned glass syrup bottles--seems planned to give a nod to history (specifically the late 19th century, when Redlands was founded). The main dining room offers plenty of comfortable seating choices, including a long bar along the center of the room. The patio is spacious and well kept. All of the spaces inside and out have music piped in from the bar. There are two restrooms just off the patio, and these are well-maintained. On busy nights, patrons can enjoy a drink in a standing bar area just off the patio. I love that the Overland provides a choice of setting depending on the kind of night you're planning. A romantic date? Get a reservation to sit inside, and it feels intimate. Just hanging out? The bar is fun as the mixologists make excellent drinks and friendly conversation. Sitting at the bar after 7 PM, you can watch the DJs spin the platters. If you have a larger group or just like to eat alfresco, the patio is perfect. The menu offers a really nice variety of drinks, including the pricier craft cocktails, more classic, moderately priced beverages, nonalcoholic drinks, and all sorts of beer and wine. The food menu is solid, with plenty of appetizers, salads, entrées, and a dessert. The real star is the tacos! These are very moderately priced at seven dollars apiece, and all three varieties are delicious! There is a potato taco, a beef taco, and pork chili Verde taco. I highly recommend these! The green salsa they provide is extremely mild, but they do have a variety of hot sauces on hand. It's worth mentioning that even a humble plate of tacos is served on nice ceramic dishes, along with good flatware and napkins. The espresso martini cheesecake is creamy and delicious, and the portion is really generous. The staff seem to enjoy working at the Overland. The servers work hard to make sure your order is to your liking, and food comes out pretty fast. There's a good sense of teamwork among them. The staff is also accommodating about seating or any special requests. We've been there on a busy Friday night, and on a Sunday evening and late night. The Overland is always at least moderately busy, so reservations are strongly recommended. The city of Redlands should be very proud of this establishment. Go and have fun!

We made reservations for four, and as soon as we arrived, we were seated right away, which was a great start. Unfortunately, I noticed a few cleanliness issues almost immediately. The tables were pretty dusty, and the glass water cups we were given still had food residue on them. One even had what looked like a lipstick mark on the rim. I let our waitress know, and she apologized and quickly brought us new glasses. Those were still dirty as well, with (food residue) so I asked if she could replace them again. After the third attempt, the glasses finally came out spotless. It seemed like there may have been an issue with the dishwasher filter?, but I really appreciated how kind and apologetic our waitress was throughout the entire situation. The drinks were good overall. I ordered a couple of nonalcoholic drinks, and they were refreshing and flavorful. We also tried the cheese fries and the fried onion, and both were really tasty. Overall, I'd give this place a 6/10. The rough start with the cleanliness definitely affected the experience, but the service helped make up for it. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making things right, and that went a long way. I absolutely loved the vibe and the music, and I think this place has a lot of potential. I'd definitely be willing to give it another try because I think it could be a great spot for a fun night out.
