We decided to order a few dishes and split them up, family style (party of 3). We got the pad kee mow with tofu, the Thai fried rice with tofu, and the orange chicken substituted with tofu. Our food came out pretty quick and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes were generous, and we were all full by the end of dinner. All of the food was delicious! The pad kee mow had a little bit of spice, the fried rice went well with the spicy sauce they provided, and the orange chicken had such a fresh flavor that really set it apart from other savory orange dishes (like the Panda Express orange chicken). I used to go here quite often. My last time there was when COVID-19 had ended and they were allowing few people to dine in. I went to get take out. After I ordered, the lady told me to wait outside. I didn't say anything and went outside. After 30 minutes when they didn't call me I went to check how much longer. They hadn't even started my order but she said it will be ready in 15 minutes. Went in after 15 minutes, still haven't started my order. Meanwhile customers are dining in and leaving. Told the lady don't forget it and left. Never went back. Lousy service. Stopped in thinking they had lunch specials but we realized it's only M-F, and we came on a Sat. No big deal we just ordered off the regular menu. Let me tell you it's not cheap. I don't mind paying a little more for good food and good portions. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great and the protein portions were nonexistent. Not to mention the service was real slow when it wasn't even busy. We ordered summer rolls that were basically veggie rolls because there was so little meat in them. We then ordered a pot of seafood soup and there was so little seafood in it. It was again almost like a veggie soup with sprinkles of seafood. I will say it was one of the better tasting broths I've had. Lastly, we ordered pork and noodle dish which was a regular portion order that was a really small portion for the price. The ambiance in this place is just ok. I do also want to mention it's kind of an eye sore to be sitting and dining and having a direct line of sight to dirty dishes piled up in bus tubs. Although I have been happy with food from prior visits my wife and I went in tonight and the restaurant was full. The waitress had me write my name in book for a table. Waited about twenty minutes for table. I watched her walk up to somebody that had arrived after me and give them a table. I walked up to book and scratch a name off. I went to her and told her she had scratched my name off. She responded by saying he said he was John. She never called out my name I told her that was me She did nothing to seat us. I ordered takeout to eat in my car on my drive back from an out-of-state trip with my dogs. I was tired, I was hungry, but most of all, I was craving some Asian-ness back in my system. So when I came across this spot, I basically yeeted myself off the freeway. And my gosh, did Thai Chili deliver. I got the papaya salad, crab fried rice, and shrimp pad thai. Everything slapped. Like I admit that I would have easily been able to eat a cardboard box, but the food was actually good. I appreciated the large portions and the flavors really hitting home. I was visiting in the area and dropped in for lunch and it was really good! The service was friendly, the space is nice and the lunch specials are well priced! I got the Pad Thai lunch with chicken which comes with coconut soup and salad with miso dressing for $9.95. The coconut soup was to die for and I love miso dressing so the meal started out great!! The best thai food around. My partner and I have gone at different hours of the day on random days and we're always immediately seated and the service is quick. The staff is super friendly and we've tried so many dishes from the orange chicken to various noodle dishes, and all of the curries and everything is delicious. I think my favorite part is that I can eat my fill of their big portions and still feel great afterwards which is a testament to how fresh and quality everything is. It's ironic that the workers wear gloves while bussing tables, recognizing the used plates and utensils are unsanitary to touch with their bare hands. Unfortunately, they don't change those gloves before serving food to customers. My brother, who is deaf, placed a phone order for some food, when he got to the restaurant to pick up his food he tried to communicate to the person who greeted him that he was deaf. He showed her his phone trying to communicate with her using his phone, she threw her hands in the air and kicked him out of the restaurant. Please do not patronize a business that discriminates against handicapped people. Her behavior is shameful at minimum and probably criminal. My grandparents treated me to dinner at their favorite restaurant. We were running late, we got there around 7:30pm and they closed around 8pm. As someone who has experience working at restaurants I was almost sure they were going to turn us away but they got us sat in just a few minutes and the service was very prompt despite the restaurant being almost full. I ordered the chicken yellow curry and my grandparents got the chicken salad and by the end of our meals our plates were licked clean. I wish I took a picture because it looked as good as it tasted. My grandma seems to think that the food is best on the weekends because there may be a specific chef working on the weekends, who actually knows lol but never the less props to that chef tonight for pushing out quality food even though they were about to close!
