    Egg fried rice

A bit disappointed - I made a carry out order. I got the Panang curry, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mow. Panang curry - The flavor was overwhelmingly peanut buttery with an extremely thick consistency. It was so potent that I could barely taste anything else and ended up diluting it at home with some milk. Pad Thai - Unfortunately, this was bland and overly salty. It lacked the usual balance of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors. Pad Kee Mow - This was the standout dish. It had great flavor and was well-executed. As for the ambience, it's your typical family-style Thai restaurant--not bad, just standard.

I love the food here it is so affordable and yummy. Me and boyfriend go here so often and it never disappoints. They have the best mango sticky rice , best fried rice and best pho we have had. The people here are super nice and our food usually comes out super fast! The restaurant is always so clean even when it's busy.

Food was amazing. I was able to customize my Pad Thia. It was enough to easily feed 2 people. Customer service was great , it was just me and a friend in but it picked up as we were leaving. The host was easy to talk to and give suggestions. We also ordered chicken curry medium spice well definitely help if you have a cold. They played video of thia street food and even that looked great.

You MUST find this place! So good!

Small business is the heart of strong economies and nothing primes that pump like specialty foods. Everyone has a favorite spot for their favorite cuisine and the majority of the time, that fave is a small biz. Thai Chili Cuisine is tucked into a small strip of businesses just off 87th in Lenexa, so don't miss it. The dining area is small but not cramped, clean and inviting. The menu is sprinkled with some common options (krapow gai, pad thai, pad see ew) and plenty of specialty items. I love their pad thai with chicken added, served with medium spice, and it is FULL of flavor and heat. With scallions, fresh cilantro, and crushed peanuts, this is a bowl of happiness. I'd also recommend their tiger cry beef appetizer, slices of sirloin served with a sweet & spicy sauce. It's probably enough to serve as a lunch portion for yourself, but better to share and enjoy. All of their lunch plate options come with a choice of side salad or soup, and the hot & sour soup is excellent! Service is quick and very friendly, with business owners almost always in the restaurant, so you know they're active in serving their best food and building that repeat customer base. Thai Chili may not be the easiest to find, but once you do, I can guarantee you'll be back.

Picked up to-go food, nice strip mall restaurant. Clean, greeted quickly. Ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and Yellow Sen Mee noodle combo. We also were given a choice of appetizer with order, chose dumplings. Everything was satisfying, taste on point, spices levels as asked. Dumplings were pretty good. If back in the area I will stop again.

I was initially impressed with this new Thai spot off of 87th street. Owned by a couple who met in Thailand, the husband helped his wife realize her dream of opening a Thai restaurant. The pad Kee mao was flavorful, if a little on the smaller side for portion size. On second visit, I was confused to have celery, carrots, and cauliflower included in a pad see ew, which is not authentic. Hope this changes. The crispy tofu appetizer was just average. Service was also curt and unfriendly the second time, possibly because only one person was in charge of a full dining room.

Food is delicious! The staff is friendly! Today we went out with to celebrate my friends birthday. We tried a bunch of different dishes. The owners came out to speak with us and did a great job table touching. My friend is from Thailand and this is her go to place. She ordered off the menu items and we loved them. They do the chili levels depending on your taste. The vibe is super casual. We seriously can't wait to come back here.

Second time coming in, and was super blown away. I am normally a panang curry gal but I wanted to branch out (a bit). The curry was awesome and flavorful. The mild green curry still has some kick but I am a wimp when it comes to spicy. The other dishes we had were awesome. We need to come back

Food was so perfect! Truly flavor in everything and portion size was perfect! Staff (i believe the owner) was so kind and brought all food out with perfect time. We are out of town and would recommend any future travelers and locals to this place!

    Pork Belly Gaprow
    Adam S.

I had a great experience at my recent visit to Thai Chili Cuisine. The restaurant is small, but nicely decorated, clean, and bright. I decided to try the pork belly gaprow, and it was amazing. It is one of those dishes I know I will crave and come back for time and time again. The dish was really nicely seasoned, and I got mine medium. It had a fair amount of kick to it, but was reasonable for my palette. If you are in doubt, ask for a mild and the spice tray. Then you can add your own spice. The service was fast and friendly, and at the end of the meal the owner came out and thanked us for coming on such a cold and snowy night. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

    Chicken Laab Salad - Mmm!
    Steve D.

I enjoyed the delicious salad, the reasonable prices, the good portions, the first-rate service and the inviting atmosphere during my opening week dine-in early lunch. The chicken laab salad ($10.95) was served just nine minutes after I ordered at the table. It was nicely sized with fresh veggies and plenty of very flavorful chicken. I requested a medium spice level and that was just right - very spicy, but not overwhelming. You can also use available spices to add heat to your own dish. I liked the clean, warm and inviting dining area with contemporary instrumental background music and found the service (which was still getting up to speed) to be polite, professional and attentive with a genuine interest in feedback. The menu included salad, rice, noodle, curry, stir-fry and pho dishes. Very nice!

Check this spot out with my parents this week and we had a GREAT meal. Ambiance was very cheerful and it was very clean. I suspect they'll be building a vestibule soon because WOW the air from outside hits the whole space. My parents were already there when I arrived. Service was prompt and we put our orders in right away. We started with the Hello Salao Wings - they were super yummy. A nice mix of savory and sweet. For entrees, I got my go-to Panang Curry with beef (yummy and mild was the right heat level for me), my mom got the pad woon sen with tofu, and dad got the grapow pork belly. They both loved their food. The pork belly was definitely the highlight for me. We ended with the mango sticky rice. Unfortunately the mango wasn't the best but we're out of season. It'll be great with a great mango. Highly recommend!

Authentic!!!! This restaurant is such a delight. The flavors are superb and the attention given by the serving staff was amazing. Flew in from Boston for an assignment in Lenexa and decided to skip all things BBQ. Best decision ever. The food was so good we convinced coworkers to go there the second day. If you like fresh unique Thai spicy sauce, try the Tiger sauce. I asked for a second serving of this delicious dipping sauce.

I figured I would go and get lunch here considering I really loved my lunch the other day. It really does feel like a cafe inside of Adrian's and with it being like 45 degree randomly today, it was so comfortable, cozy, and felt very neighborhood oriented. While I had been disappointed at first by the service on the phone, I recognize that they had someone training and it's hard to balance all of the orders they get! The owner actually called me back when I hung up after being on hold for a sec, which is absolutely going the extra mile. I was already on my way and going to place that order but gosh he was so awesome! Rare anymore these days that anyone lets you try anything before you get to buy it and the owner let me try their chicken salad (since I was skeptical) and they had run out of chicken breast for the day. I really try to stick to mainly eating chicken, but the owner convinced me to try some of their bacon on top of it and it is one of the best sandwiches I can say I've had. Absolutely will be a regular at this location. Everything is delicious. Everything is fresh. You won't believe that you can get quality like this at a corporate restaurant, but you CAN

Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.

I usually come here for dim sum, and it is upsetting for me to say that my husband and I should've chose somewhere else to eat for dinner. For dinner, we ordered fried rice and chow fun. Those two main entrées were okay. You can't really mess up those two fillers at an Asian restaurant. We ordered scallion pancakes- they came out soggy and soft. Not even crispy like how they usually are. The flavor wasn't there either. If I wanted microwaved scallion pancakes, then I would've bought them from the store and made them myself. My husband ordered the short ribs- they were bland and tough like rubber. It had a funky taste to it that he couldn't describe and he had to force himself to swallow it because he didn't want food to go to waste. I ordered the chicken feet- this is one of dim sum's signature dishes and I am so upset I didn't even get to enjoy one of the dishes I always order. It was dry and the flavor wasn't there. The service was fantastic. They checked in on us and made sure our water was filled. The timing of the food coming in and out was fine. The ambiance was inviting. We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I ordered online and went through their drive thru. Super easy process and the woman in the drive thru was super nice. The sandwich was very tasty. It came with a sauce on the side but I didn't need any. The Asian pickles gave me enough flavor. The steak was good, had an ok amount of fat on it, but small amounts are no issues for me. My wife tried the Chicken Alfredo and she loved it. I think it was good, maybe the one-cheese kind of Alfredo called the Cacio e Pepe, don't get me wrong, it's very good, but the chicken probably isn't fresh, and the flavor is good. Not what I'm used to. But very good. NOW, the crème brûlée was AMAZING!!!!!! Totally worth the 4.50 each. Will I eat here again, sure. I'll give some of the other foods a try...but the crème brûlée will be a staple.

My beef noodle dish ($10.99) was served just eight minutes after I ordered at the bar, where the service was accommodative and still getting up to speed on order entry. The dish had a tasty sauce, delicious noodles, a good variety of veggies and a good amount of delicious, lean, seasoned, perfectly cooked beef - nice! I only wish the portion had been a little larger. I found the dining area to be clean and recently remodeled, with sound coming from one TV tuned to a sports channel inside. I also noticed a drive-thru lane outside. They opened eight minutes late and the employees took the parking spots closest to the entrance - not cool. I also noticed a 4% credit card surcharge. Overall, I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up for the delicious dish.
