Red Curry Ribeye - tasted artificial a little and not like a traditional red curry you would get from a Thai Restaurant. The meat wasn't bad tho. Tiger Cry Beef and Pho wings were not bad but not the best either. The lobster Rangoon was the best thing in the meh so far. Super yum. Okay this is a spot I've been meaning to try for a while, but I had NO IDEA that I would be thinking about it for weeks afterwards. I ordered the Ribeye Pad See Udon (medium spicy) and holy cow. I'm now obsessed. The meat was so tender and the noodles had the perfect chew. Even the spice was at a great level and didn't set your mouth on fire. It just gave a lovely little burn that built as you ate. If you haven't tried this yet, what are you even doing? Saap Saap Noodles has been on my list for a while. Located in the Lenexa Public Market, I liked that they have their own little bar and that you order from a person. Service was great. I did a little surf and turf action by ordering the lobster Rangoon and the ribeye ramen red curry. The lobster Rangoon was a little smaller than anticipated but they were good. The Star of the show was the ribeye ramen red curry: a northern Thai, red curry soup with noodles and scallions. Topped with grilled ribeye and aromatics. The ribeye was tender. The red curry soup was delicious. So flavorful! The noodles were a bit of a let down. I was expecting a ramen but these were almost like a fettuccine-much wider and flatter. But that's a first world problem complaint. Everything tasted great and I'll definitely return. They have a lot of other menu items that I'd love to eat my way through. read more

I selected the Night Market Noodles: crispy roasted pork, belly, tangy garlic sauce, ramen noodles, and scallions. When I say I enjoyed every single bite, that's what I mean! The tangy garlic sauce was a true standout for me, really bringing the dish to life. The serving portions definitely matched the price, as there was enough for at least two servings, even if I ate it in one. Mind your business. The Night Market Noodles were one of the tastiest dishes that I have had all year. Loaded with crispy fried pork belly on a bed of ramen with veggies, nuts, sauces and spices that ranged from sweet to heat. At $22, it had better been delicious and it delivered on a grand scale. I will return for it again. My first time enjoying a Thai Tea also. Packed with potent black tea, milk and spices. As a Chai and Vietnamese coffee lover; Thai tea will be my new go to whenever it is available on menus. TL;DR: Was hoping for a little bit more--love to see more Lao food but the execution wasn't really there for this price point. My friends and I tried the Khao Poon Nam Gai, the Ribeye Rice Plate, and the Night Market Noodles. The Night Market Noodles were the standout, and if I were to come here again, that's definitely what I would get. It's savory and garlicky, but I'm not sure if it was worth $21 on its own. The portions for each dish weren't significant, and we spent $20+ per person but were still hungry afterward. The Khao Poon Nam Gai wasn't bad but it didn't pack the kind of punch I was hoping for. In general, the taste and toppings were thin, and I was hoping for more since I love this dish and hope to see it more often in KC. The Ribeye Rice Plate was well-seasoned but there just wasn't enough of it. Overall, was excited about the concept, but not worth coming back for me. read more

Located inside of the Lenexa Public Market, Saap Saap is a fun new addition! Bar seating if you want to sit close and sip drinks, otherwise it's easy to take to-go and eat at the large number of Public Market tables. I ordered the the chicken udon noodles mild and that was just the right level of spice for me- think Thai levels! It took about 7-8 minutes, not a bad wait time at all :) Can't wait to try more on their menu! LPM has a parking garage behind it or street parking, but it does generally involve walking a decent amount, elevators are available for your convenience. read more

Ordered delivery on the khao poon Nam gai (red curry). My order was received hot & broth was good. I like my food a little salty so it's a good thing I had fish sauce to add. Fabulous! Take-out usually loses quality--this place doesn't. I've ordered twice and was blown away both times. The steak in the Thai Cry Beef and ribeye ramen red curry was perfectly cooked and juicy. The red curry is unreal (seriously, bottle it), with just enough heat to make it exciting without being overwhelming. Portions are generous and worth the price. My wife and I met up with friends at Lenexa Public Market tonight, and we shared the most incredible noodle dish I may have ever had! We got the "Night Market" noodles with pork belly...and I can't wait to go back and get more! If you want a meal exploding with flavor, this is the place to go. It's inside the Lenexa Public Market tucked away in the back, and the setup is like a bar. And they serve alcoholic beverages, I had their guava limeade (non-alcoholic), and their food menu is not so expansive that it's intimidating. I loved the Night Noodles and would eat it again, filled with spice and crunch (from the pork belly) and I had to try their Lao Sausage with rice so I ordered that for lunch the next day. I am so happy that this fusion restaurant exists and giving the true flavors of both Vietnamese and Laotian cultures. Service was great also, and the food came out in a decent time! To drink, we ordered the paloma, mekong margarita, phuket sunset, thai-garita and the guava sugarcane limeade. All the drinks were SO SO delicious! For the food we tried the ribeye rice plate, night market noodles, ribeye pad see udon, garlic noodles and the pho chicken wings. The ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I loved the udon noodles they used, it was nice and chewy. I really liked the flavor of the night market noodles and would have loved it even more if there was an udon option! For the wings, I wasn't really sure what to expect but WOW were they delicious. The wings were perfectly fried with just the right amount of pho flavors added to them. I went to Saap Saap excitedly after seeing their menu with so many things I'd like to try. We both got the red curry ribeye ramen with flat egg noodles and a nice curry broth. The noodles were definitely different and not ramen but went really well with the curry soup. The ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection. I would love even more punch to the curry like ginger or chili spice, but it would be perfect for someone with a low spice tolerance. WTH. Where have I been. This is a new trendy food court in the Lenexa Public Market. The pork belly noodles caught my attention with garlic sauce "Night Market Ramen". The food is a little pricey, but totally worth it. They have Asian cooks (lol). It's not like other fast food Vietnamese Pho places, the quality and flavor is far better and unique. Omg this place is soooooo good. Their pho chicken wings are unlike any other. We ordered 5 dishes for under $100 and the three of us got sooooo full. The pork belly rice bowl and the ribeye rice bowl (my fave) were delicious. My boyfriend said their pho was good and we also got the dry ramen noodles with pork belly which were surprisingly delicious as well. Our waitress was kind and upbeat and I really enjoyed sitting at the bar to eat. It's such a vibe and i will definitely be coming back next time I drive through KC! read more

We absolutely loved Saap Saap Noodles! My husband got the Udon Noodle Stir Fry Combo, and it was one of the best noodle dishes he's ever had--the ribeye was incredible. An employee recommended the Pho, and it was absolutely delicious. It was the best pho I've had in the US outside of Little Vietnam in Philadelphia.
