The service was pretty poor and we waited about an hour for the food to finally arrive. But, this might have been our fault because we came at the busiest times : Friday night. It was so busy that they had to turn away customers after 8pm because they had no more food!! Besides that, the food was good, nothing too special. I would recommend going on a weekday for lunch, as I assume they won't be very busy. Overall: not too impressed. read more

More spicy actually means something here, I was literally fuming from the spicy food and generally speaking I can eat some very spicy food as I'm Indian (pun definitely intended). Pad Thai was okay, nothing spectacular. Like the ambiance, not at all crowded on weekdays. Friendly waitress. This place is about as authentic as you can get in the GTA. Unlike the other Thai spots in the west end who have over saturated their food in either sugar or salt, this place mixes the perfect blend of real spices to bring out an authentic Thai flavour. 3.5/5. The lunch special is a great deal. For $11 or $12 I got the tom yum soup (very light, fragrant) and spring roll appetizer, and a very sizeable portion of peanut curry with chicken. The peanut curry sauce is rich and flavourful. Great value. Had enough to take home leftovers for a snack later in the day. read more

Good service! One of the best Tai experiences we have had. Pai tai is one the best! Very great taste. We also order shirmp chip, great sauce! And also the coconut delight dish. Very unique taste!! We went to Thai Coconut for the first time based on the Yelp reviews we saw and were very pleased. The place is not large and it was very busy but we were seated quickly. The food was great. We had the mixed starters for 2 which gave a good idea of a range of appetizers. The satay was tasty with a nice peanut sauce. The cold spring rolls were fresh and crispy. I had the chicken peanut curry and my wife had the chicken red curry. Both were delicious. The peanut curry was quite mild. If you like spicier food step it up to at least a medium. The red curry was mild but had a nice bite to it. We split a coconut rice between 2 but since the portions of curry were quite large we had to order another rice dish to finish it off. Service was good but at the peak there was only one waitress working which meant she was very busy. Despite this all the food came in a reasonable time and the service was very pleasant. Around 8:00 it started to empty out so going later rather than earlier may be a good idea. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely return again. read more

Tried the Chicken Coconut Soup for an appetizer and it was very good. Nice atmosphere, staff very attentive and prices were reasonable. We had Generals Chicken and Jasmine rice, it was very good. My wife had Chicken Pad Thai and asked when ordering for the spice to be mild. The dish was too spicy but the staff took it back to the kitchen and took care of the problem without complaint. The new dish was delicious and just the right spice level. Portions are large and very delicious. Would definitely go back to the restaurant if in the area again. read more

Very good and fresh. They were able to serve me perfect spicy meal the way I asked (spicy 7/10). The Lychee curry duck was EXCELLENT!! The fried calamars were light and perfect texture dipped in the sweet chili sauce in which I added a bit of their hot sauce were very good. I will go back for sure for more. read more

I think this restaurant serves by far the best Thai food I have ever had at a restaurant. In fact, we make a special 40 minute drive to dine here. The service is great; servers consistently refill water and visit the table to ensure everything is ok. The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned with an authentic Thai flair. Both the lunch and dinner menus are fantastic value with many choices available. I highly recommend this place! read more

we tried this restaurant for the first time as we had a craving for vegetarian food with flavor. came across this quaint place on Google maps and drove over before closing. the staff was very friendly and very helpful. walking in first impression was wow. nice decor warm ambience. it wasn't a full house but definitely enough people to say they are doing well. the crowd was also diverse. their menu was very well thought out. decorative and unique. they offered enough dishes for you to choose from with meat and vegan options. I would say the prices are pretty average for a thai spot ranging from 6 bucks for an appetizer to 20 bucks for a big entree. I started off with the thai ice tea (as always, one of my fave things at a thai spot). it was mediocre, not so great. I think it ended up being too milky and not enough tea, but the size was great for 3 bucks. next we opted for the soup .. rice veggie soup. we only got one serving of it.. and were told it was enough for one person. we took our chances and decided to share. I have to say it was more than enough for 2 of us and then some. we then ordered a pineapple curry with Jasmine rice and coconut rice. we definitely ordered too much rice as one bowl was plenty. the curry was also good for at least 4 meals! we had seconds and still had some left over for a doggy bag with rice!! Paid about 35 bucks for 2 of us with leftovers. we were truly satisfied with the food and the place. I hope it stays that way. Found our thai go to place!! read more
