Food is ok. Do not go by posted prices. Today at 2:30 pm which I consider lunch menu, takeout shrimp pad Thai $17.50, chicken fried rice $15.50 and 2 orders fresh rolls (spring rolls) $15.90. I understand prices have gone up so I can accept these but there is a guilt trip for a tip. It is expected, even though takeout. Choices are 15, 18 or 20%. Be careful you don't fall into the trap. Someone else posted about a nasty attitude when no tip. It is pretty expensive already. We won't be back. $58 for lunch for two is nuts. This place is a family favorite. The food and service are consistently excellent. The restaurant is very clean, they have a great selection of food, and all of it seems very fresh. The staff is friendly and quick. The restaurant is located in a strip of store fronts, and the wide selection is the typical Thai offering, so it won't likely be that 'memorable dinner date' location. I probably eat here once or twice a week for lunch and once in a while for dinner if I'm working late. Big fan of Thai food and Thai Corner does it well. I live in Portland but work down near Canby and I think Thai Corner could stand up against most of the Thai options in Portland. Their Pad Kee Mao with chicken is my favorite.My fiancee enjoys their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. The portions are very generous and the price is reasonable. We also enjoy their salad rolls, but I wish they'd come in a three-pack instead of just two-packs. I use take-out most often and the food is usually ready in 10-15 minutes. We've dined in a few times and also had a positive experience. The staff is very friendly with great service. This is my preferred Thai option in the Canby area. read more

Authentic Thai. We stopped here on a (long) road trip from Los Angeles. We were both craving some Thai food, but had low hopes since I'm pretty sure Canby isn't known for Asian cuisine. We took a chance, and turned out to be great. We met the owner who is actually from Thailand, and is super passionate about his food being fresh and authentic. Being from LA, (don't hate me) I've had all kinds of Thai and this was not only tasty but also a great value. We had a curry dish and the hot basil-ginger dish (can't remember name) which were both fantastic. I definitely didn't leave hungry. The place is clean (which you can't always assume for most places), bathrooms are cleaner than most hotels, and it's well decorated. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend. read more

Well appointed for a Thai restaurant. Broad selection of food, limited beer and wine selection. Wife had a Chardonnay (generous serving) that was as large as my Singha beer. We had two appetizers, one was a daily(?) special made of fish meal and green beans that had a texture like a moistened dry apricot. Had an interesting sauce to go with it. Did the standard chicken satay as well - the four chicken strips were perfectly cooked and quite large. Had a good but unremarkable peanut sauce but it was accompanied by a cucumber salad (more of a sauce then salad) that, when mixed together with the peanut sauce was very appealing. We then moved on to main courses, Kao Soy with shrimp for me, Pad Garlic and Peppers with Pork for my wife. The Kao Soy was good, if a little too sweet for my preference. Wife's Pad was also fine, although the pork was overdone and chewy. Price before tip a little under $50. Service was efficient and quick (early Sunday evening). We will give them at least one more try, switching out main dishes to see if we could find ones that matched the quality of the appetizers. read more

Probably the worst thai food I've ever had. For 45 bucks for 2 people, I really expected better. Reading the other reviews on here, i really wonder if i went to the wrong restaurant. Yellow curry was under spiced, and was basically water. Chicken was dry, vegetables were either overcooked or undercooked. On the way home, the curry actually separated. Never seen that before. The thai tea was good, but there was so much ice, I got maybe three sips before it was gone. Appetizers were middling to bad. The only saving grace was the crab rangoon, which were actually pretty tasty. Pad thai was basically just bean sprouts. Server looked overworked. I feel bad for her, this place is clearly overdue for closure. I hope she finds a better job. She seemed alright. Her boss had a real sour attitude. read more

WORST customer service ever! The waitress was very incompetent of understanding any of our orders and our spice levels. She brought out a beef salad that we didn't order and then chicken pad see eww that we also did not order. We ordered the red chicken curry, so I'm not sure how our order came close to what she brought out. Our waitress and the cashier even tried to argue that they were right and we were wrong. The Coconut shrimp is wonderful, as are their wings, and Tom Yum soup. The green curry however is so HOT that it is NOT edible. She did let us return the curry and exchange it for a pork stir fry with peanut sauce, she said the peanut sauce would be too hot for us, yet it was just great. However, the stir fry did not come with rice so that was a bit confusing. It was nice to be told that all her curries are made that spicy - so now we know and glad to still be able to order a lovely lunch for my family. read more

Extraordinarily bland food. My mom ordered 2* spice, I ordered 8 (they list to 4). There was no detectable heat or seasoning in any item. Nice veggies, but still, absurdly poorly seasoned. The peanut sauce tasted like Jiff, too which they added corn syrup, instead of chilies and lime. We ended up re-cooking our meals, and with a penny's worth of spices, we were able to get our meals to 4*. If you're going to be expensive, don't be so cheap. You stand to make more money, than lose it, with a tiny increase in supply cost. read more
