Stopped in for lunch. Everything from the service to homemade quality food was awesome! Teriyaki (homemade sauce) chicken bowl with perfectly cooked veggies and rice. Delicious. The food was average overall. We asked the waitress for a little more peanut sauce to finish the fresh rolls. About 15 minutes passed the extra sauce still wasn't brought. So we finally got her attention again and asked for the peanut sauce she told us it was an extra sauce costs .75 cents. Since there was only half a fresh roll left we declined. When the bill arrived it had an extra sauce charge .75 cents. I brought this to her attention and she insisted she gave us extra sauce. I said no we had to ask twice for it but declined the second time. We never got the sauce she got very upset and defensive (creating a scene amongst the other tables) She came back and said do you want me to get the manager. Really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was friendly and easy going, even with a child. We enjoyed a full dinner with Sour Curry and a kids chicken satay (skewers) and dessert! We definitely left full but the bill was very reasonable. They also do take out and we saw lots of take out orders being placed and picked up, but that didn't impact our table service. The restaurant was seating but I would necessarily bring more than say 6 people, but for a small family or friends it's perfect. They do offer beer and wine. read more

We've been eating there ever since they opened. Great food and healthy portions. The ingredients are very fresh. Service has always been great but we especially like Christopher. A couple years ago my meal's veggies were cold and the rest of the entree lukewarm. The worst food ever. I am not kidding from start to finish after $70 spent. Chicken burnt and so over cooked. No dipping sauce for the chicken skewers ( which were also terrible) All the food tasted old. I ordered their version of Pad Thai and it was horrible. Sauce tasted like vinegar...... really bad. A great place to dine in or order to go if you like Korean or Thai food. They're located at the corner of 99W and Villa Road in Newberg. There's parking in front, and a bigger lot towards the back of the building. They make your food order fresh so expect a little wait. Service is friendly, and attentive. If I lived near Newberg, this would be a go-to restaurant for me. I happened here while completing coursework at the lovely George Fox University campus--it was an artful dodge in avoiding traffic for my drive into Portland. I easily scored a table on a Wednesday night and enjoyed a delicious stir fry, pleasant service and a clean, comfortable ambiance. There's a changing table in the bathroom, which is a small, thoughtful touch. The food arrived quickly and steaming hot. The veggies were fresh and crispy. It featured crispy cashews--my favorite, and it was a humane medium spicy. If I were to venture into picky, I'd claim it was a bit salty and the rice was a bit mushy. In truth, it tasted great to me, and I enjoyed my stay here. Around 6:30 pm, it got busy--lots of to go orders and a full floor. The folks working here stayed focused, friendly and on point in their service. I was going to order iced Thai coffee to go, but I was full and satisfied from my experience here. Got takeout here by calling into the restaurant. Staff was friendly when ordering and picking up. Going inside the restaurant to pick up, the sit down environment is lacking a few things that would give that feeling of a unique experience. It feels like a blend between a fast pick up and sit down restaurant. The food was alright, certainly could have been better. We had a chicken teriyaki bowl and the chicken pad thai. read more

The food is amazing!!!! You can taste the different spices in each dish. My little 2years chowed down on the chicken fried rice. The chicken itself was nicely cooked and thin They have toys for kids to be entertained while we wait for food. The service is friendly but could use training to handle large crowds. I have wanted to try here and finally had the chance. I ordered the eggplant with chicken mild which is my go to. Service was great and super friendly and quick and attentive. We now live above Newberg and are no longer close to our favorite Thai so had to find a new one. I ordered it mild and it was a little spicy so glad I got mild. A little restaurant on the corner heading into downtown Newberg. Family owned. In fact the family lives upstairs. You can in occasionally see the son come running into the restaurant. He's young so it's not that alarming. The place is big and spread out for what it appears on the outside. Chalk boards of specials and the regular menu in separate locations. So take the time to walk around and see what is being cooked up today. It's a little mix of Korean and Thai food. A little more flavor a little more spice than what most restaurants are serving up. More authentic to me. They also grill the meats. So there is a little more flavor just from the grill marks. A nice twist of originality for me. Everything on the menu has been great. The special jabenaro chicken the chicken noodle soup teriyaki chicken, shrimp chicken and basil all nice size portions almost two meals depending on just how hungry you are. Drinks and alcohol are limited. Made no difference for mer I am here for the food. This will be a regular stop. Service can be slow. There seems to always be only one or two people working bit they have been signs up that they are hiring for the past two months. read more

The green curry is excellent - great spectrum of flavors, the egg plant is sweet and soft, and it's SPICY! So good.

My wife and I were recently introduced to this restaurant. We love that their menu allows flexibility when choosing your protein. The staff is so friendly and service is always attentive. We often order to-go, but when you go in the space is quiet and relaxing, in spite of being in close proximity to the college. I found an item I really enjoyed, but it turned out to be seasonal. When I requested it over the phone, I was told that it was seasonal, but she took the time and asked the kitchen. They had all the ingredients and still made me the dish, that is unbeatable service! Disclaimer, this restaurant is a white person restaurant with a western clientele and staff. They don't even ask you how spicy you want something because it's assumed that the answer is zero. That being said, the food is really good even if it's not the kind of authentic Thai I'm used to. Call it a small town oregon interpretation of Thai food. I got the Dungeness crab pad Thai, which is a generous helping of real crab meat on top of a healthy portion of lightly seasoned noodles. They come with a cup of Rama peanut sauce but I don't think it needs it. It's a perfect blend of Asian and northwest flavor at a very reasonable price. read more

This is a great stop when in the Newberg area. We were in town and making a few stops for wine and other items and decided to stop for Thai food. This is a good choice. An open and airy vibe in this restaurant it is admittedly hard to access through a narrow driveway but once you make it through there is plenty of parking. It shares a driveway with a small strip mall that houses another restaurant and other businesses. They have a daily special usually posted on a chalkboard and quite a vast regular menu. One of my most favorite restaurants. The menu is filled with many incredible options that all deliver a ton of flavor. The service is exceptional. And if you choose to dine in the restaurant is very clean and has plenty of seating. Most often I get my food to go and it is ready in a timely manner. Very good Thai with an extensive menu. I went with the yellow curry which came with some of the best Thai rice I've had and I'm not a rice fan. The curry was rich and flavorful and had plenty of potatoes, veggies and pork. The lunch portion was the perfect serving and didn't leave me overly full. Stopped here for a dinner and they were AMAZING. Guest care might not be the fastest but we can all be a bit more forgiving in these times - they're also fielding a ton of takeout orders so it's understandable. We had a glass of wine, the Pad Thai, and the Drunken Noodle which was top notch Thai quality. The ginger creme brûlée was also *chefs kiss.* The owner, Evan, came to ask if everything was okay mid-meal and we ended up chatting for about 10 min and meeting his son, Anthony.
