This was good good food! The egg rolls were the best my wife and I had ever had. The curry was good, though my only minor critique would be that the temperature was a bit much so that it took awhile to cool off before we could appreciate our masaman and pineapple/green curries full flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. You got a sense that people there in this Thursday night had been there for years. The bathrooms were very clean. The artwork on the walls was beautiful. This is a must go spot!

I really don't have many words on this restaurant because it's that good. Every time I've been here, the experience is exceptional, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is incredible. I had my favorite Thai place back home in Los Angeles, but im pretty sure this is my new spot in Phoenix. My meal was, and continues to be, Fried Tofu appetizer, House Pad Thai, and a Thai Iced Tea. That combo, for me, is absolutely perfect. The perfect amount of food, with such a wonderful assortment of flavors, makes for the most enjoyable dining experience.

Came here for dinner one night and became one of my favorite Thai restaurants here in Phoenix. Originally I would go to Chanpen and Glai Baan, but would recommend this place for quality, taste, and price. Pad Thai- 5/5: has the perfect balance of sweet and savory for the rice noodles. Pad see ew-5/5 - a stir fried noodle dish with your choice of meat cooked with soy sauce. Green curry- 4- the coconut sauce was a little watery to my liking, maybe some corn starch to thicken the sauce, but still flavorful Crispy chicken with spicy cream sauce- 3.5/5- this was like their version of orange chicken, good, but something I can pass to try another dish. In terms of their ambiance and service, I would rate them 5/5 as well. Definitely coming back

What I ordered : Sapparo Hot sake Entrees: Thai egg rolls Pork royal yellow curry I've been coming here for five years and I still think it is the best place for Curry in Arizona. I've had around 15 places and still nothing compares to the curry here all the vegetables are always soft as heck and the curry itself so flavorful it's addicting I believe the only downside is sometimes the rice is overcooked and it's mushy as well as it does get pretty hot in here so it makes it pretty miserable to eat, sometimes especially in the really peak high temp days I always recommend food to my friends it's so well-made

This place is sooooo good! My gf and I tried it out as a last min Thai food craving . The inside is super cute and the parking is a bit small but I believe there is more parking in the back. Service was also very nice and quick! The pad see ew with beef... delicious!!!! 10/10 We also got the coconut soup with chicken and also 10/10. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem!

The food is excellent. Service Phenomenal. Today was the house Pad Thai. Fresh shrimp rolls luv with the Thai fish sauce. Thai ice tea with coconut milk excellent. I gave 4 stars because the charge for soda water same price as a soda. I'm seen a few restaurants do this lately but normally they tell you. Soda water from the machine has been free at most restaurants. I now will ask because I've been to a few lately that are doing this it's simply carbonated water and charging now price of a soda. Still recommend as a solid restaurant.

If I could go to Thai e-san every day I would! I cannot recommend this place enough. Every time I have a friend or family member visit, this is a necessary spot I have to take them. The workers are so kind and very personable. Rex has been my server multiple occasions and is so kind and funny. The food is always consistently good and never disappoints. I have tried the yellow curry, green curry, pad Thai, red curry, and the Pa naeg curry. All of them are delicious with very different flavors. The yellow curry is my favorite and a fan favorite among the many people I have brought here. This place feels like a hole in the hall find and doesn't feel like a big cooperate franchise which I love. Service, food, vibes, staff, are all excellent - never misses!

Upon my approach, the exterior was so beautifully curated that I initially mistook it for an exclusive, private small garden. I stopped at Glai Baan and ventured inside, finding the dining room wonderfully bustling with a lively, fashionable crowd a thoroughly excellent sign. The venue offers the most delightful arrangements; one may choose to dine within the main room or enjoy a seat adjacent to the exquisite flower beds and lush, cool greenery. There is also a beautifully structured small bar. The entire aesthetic is nothing short of exceptional, and I found myself quite enamored with the decor. I escorted myself to an excellent table facing the bar and requested a traditional Thai Iced Tea to begin. The bartender was an absolute credit to the establishment immensely warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The hospitality here is truly remarkable; the staff handles their patrons with the gracious care of family, which I found immensely pleasing. For my dinner entrée, I selected the Kanom Jeeb, which bears a marvelous resemblance to the finest dim sum found in elite Chinese establishments. The kitchen executed the order with commendable timing, and upon its elegant presentation, my evening meal was rendered entirely complete. The seamless blend of sophisticated flavor, beautiful botany, and refined hospitality was an absolute treat. I shall most certainly be returning to this charming sanctuary in the near future

It's so good that I'll forever be sad I have to drive 30 minutes to get it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the menu itself. It's divided into sections featuring dishes from different regions of Thailand, making the meal feel like you're traveling through the country one plate at a time. Everything was incredibly flavorful. The Boo Pad Pong Garee was outstanding. The crab was already de-shelled (thank you!), and the curry powder was balanced perfectly. It added flavor without overpowering the sweetness of the fresh crab. The BBQ pork in the Bamee Mu Dang was unbelievably tender and packed with flavor. The crispy fried bits (garlic and herbs, I think?) took it to another level. I rarely eat many carbs because I'm usually trying to be disciplined, but I couldn't stop eating this dish. The Kaeng Kua Hoi was simple, elegant, and delicious. The mussels were bursting with curry flavor, and the sauce was too good to leave behind. Everyone at the table ended up pouring it over their rice. The Hoi Shae Nam Pla appetizer was another highlight. The scallops tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the seafood throughout every dish was selected with care and intention. Service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was nearly full, everything arrived surprisingly fast and piping hot. Our drinks were never empty, the staff checked on us regularly, and they even wished us a happy anniversary. A few minor cons: * You don't get to choose your spice level (or at least we weren't asked). The spice level was perfect for my husband and me, but our son found it slightly too spicy, even though he still enjoyed the food. * Parking is atrocious. Not really the restaurant's fault. It's just part of being in downtown Phoenix. * The desserts felt a little out of place. One option was a banana split, and another was a fusion crème brûlée split between hibiscus and lemongrass flavors. Since the rest of the menu is so thoughtfully focused on regional Thai cuisine, it would have been nice to see that same philosophy carried into the dessert menu. Overall, this place delivers a unique dining experience. Absolutely, 1,000,000% worth the drive. My family and I are super happy to have picked this place for our anniversary.

The exterior was so beautifully enveloped in lush, vibrant greenery that I initially mistook the property for an exclusive private park. It was a thoroughly satisfying and magnificent first impression. Upon crossing the threshold, I discovered an incredibly sophisticated interior architecture. I escorted myself to an excellent seat at the counter, where it became delightfully apparent that this sanctuary is a refined Asian Thai restaurant. I must confess, I am occasionally conservative regarding casual dining concepts, but the sheer caliber of the decor and the impeccable service completely surpassed my expectations. It is truly impressive. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the bartender who was an absolute credit to the establishment I requested a crisp Lychee beverage for my refreshment. For my entrée, I selected the traditional Thai-style Gai Tawt Won Pen. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision, presenting the dish to my table within a swift ten minutes. The culinary execution was a complete triumph remarkably fresh, perfectly prepared, and thoroughly satisfying. What a magnificent discovery to lead my evening. I am entirely enamored with this delightful sanctuary and shall most certainly make a point to return in the very near future

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.
