Local friend rec this family owned spot when I asked for a good local Thai place. We came around 5:00 on a Wednesday and easily found parking. Some reviews said the parking was not good but at this time there were spots. I'm glad I read the reviews because somebody mentioned trying their Avocado Green Curry. I've never heard of those things combined so I also tried it and glad I did. It was GOOD! Full of veggies (green beans, eggplant, carrots, zucchini, bamboo shoots, and Avocado) in a delish curry sauce. We got the fried dumplings and they were really good as well. My friend loved her pad thai. Mango sticky rice was a perfect way to end the meal. The server was friendly, our order was accurate and the restaurant is clean. I was in the area for an event at the church up the street and decided to come here afterwards. It's a small and modest restaurant but I had the Thai fried rice with tofu and it was delicious! This was the first visit for my wife and me while out for a week in Scottsdale. This night we were up for something on the north end of town after visiting our usual haunts as we had for 20+ years of coming to MLB Spring Training out here. We agreed on Thai, despite already spicy weather and dropped in to dine in. We stepped into a blast of hot air, not even noticing the sign that warned No Dine In - A/C Broken. We stepped out to regroup and met a lady and her Dad by the picnic table as they were waiting for their takeout. Nicest folks and they very much sold us on staying as we considered sitting outside at the picnic table. I ordered the Red Curry Shrimp and my wife order the Pad Thai Chicken. We were very happy with our young waiter and the owner came out to see us and we shared about the wonderful customers we nearly befriended after our arrival. She too, was delightful, and despite eating in the triple digits outside, it was cooler than where we were warned of coming into. These mechanical things will and do happen, but we were so glad for our good fortune to meet such nice people, the wait staff, owner and whoever prepared such wonderful Thai meals for us that night. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Panang Curry were delicious with high quality spices hitting all parts of the palette. The Basil stir fry was delightful with fresh vegetables and perfect bite sized pieces of chicken. The spring rolls were light, delectable and not greasy. Some of the better Thai food we have had. A great neighborhood go to for delicious reasonably priced Thai specialties. Even on a very busy Friday night they were gracious and responsuve to requests. This place is so delicious. A small hole in the wall but well worth it! I came with the family and tried the beef pad Thai, chicken fried rice, Tom ka soup, drunken noodles and orange chicken. I can't even decide a favorite. All of the dishes were prepared and put together so well I kept wanting to eat more and more. The noodles on the pad Thai and the drunken noodles were cooked perfectly. The orange chicken didn't feel overpowering and had a nice flavor to it. The Tom Ka soup was gone within minutes as soon as it touched the table so you can imagine how flavorful the dish was. The waiters kept checking in on us and made sure we were taken care of. They worked so efficiently. The order was received and we were able to eat our food shortly after that. I recommend anyone in the area to stop by and give Thai coconut a try. read more

We ordered from the very reasonably priced lunch menu - Drunken Noodles, Chicken Thai Rice, and Sautéed Veggies with Tofu. All three were excellent. And accompanied by a crispy vegetable roll. The Pad See-Ew, with shrimp was a beautiful combo of slightly salty and moderately spicy with deep umami. Glorious dish for those who like food that actually has real flavor. That was paired with a Thai Iced Tea which, due to its sweetness, made the entree even more interesting. I wanted to try someplace new. It said it was authentic. It was the worst Thai food I've ever had. The place was hot no air-conditioning and no alcohol so I got it to go and I got it home and my pad. Thai wasn't even warm and it had a weird smoky flavor and the pork was rather chewy. The chicken green curry was like watery milk and had a fishy taste. What a huge disappointment $46 later I'm not looking forward to leftovers. read more
